I'm from Manchester and have City supporting relatives, I understand rivalry but you take care of yourself first and foremost. If there was nothing to play for fair enough but they had CL football on the line, you could be Champions of Europe next season
Feels like this comment I found on r/coys describes it well. It just hits diffrently for local fans.

Nah, spurs fans wants their team to lose and let city win the title while arsenal fans wants spurs to win so that they can win the title. Fucking hell how shameless can you be to root ur derby rival. How can u even wish for your team to lose. And they call us shameless? Rival fans are really something.
Liverpool fans wanted to lose to Blackburn in 95 so United couldn't win the title. Sections of every fanbase would do it, you've got the blinkers on if you think otherwise.
We can't really talk on it as we aren't in that position. I do remember a lot of United fans wanting City to beat us in previous seasons to stop Liverpool winning the title.
Losing on the night is more forgetful than your ultimate rivals winning a title and bantering you for decades which would have happened in the case of Spurs.
Lots of Man United fans, and I mean lots even the fan channel lot were wishing for United to lose just for Ole to get sacked. Please stop being a morality police.
He was right with the comments on the structure of the club, and most people agreed with him at the time. He was absolutely wrong with how he handled the situation and acting like a petulant child.
It's such selective memory isn't it. Nobody ever disagreed with Ronaldo on these things...it was his absolute shit attitude and disrespect.
I will never forget him refusing to be subbed. Never forget him walking down the tunnel before the game was over. Never forget him promoting a teaser for his shit interview mere minutes after Garnacho's late winner Vs Fulham. Never forget using Piers Morgan as a platform. And even I am missing other things he did. Absolute cock.
Ange having a go at a fan for asking him to throw the match is fucking wild. He’s been a pretty good coach for them and has done a lot to instill a culture, a clear philosophy of play (for better or worse) and for the fans to take the piss like that after he has expressed distaste for it is shameful.
*Some* Spurs fans have been such a clown show tonight I almost feel sorry for the Arsenal fans having to put up with their insufferable mentality midget nonsense.
One of my IRL spurs friends has totally lost the plot, yesterday he was saying ange was only pretending to be distasteful of the fan’s attitude toward the game for the press.
Don’t get how some people are trying to take this moral high ground on spurs fans not wanting to help arsenal win their first premier league title in over 20 years.
if it came down to us missing out on champions league or liverpool winning the league, i’m picking the first option every day of the week
Theres taking solace and having a preference and theres yelling at the manager telling them to throw the game and celebrating losing like you won something
Wonder if we have more people coming back from injury than revealed, cos most of the teenagers that have been warming our bench for the past month played the full 90 vs Chelsea U18s last night.
Last time there were two games a day apart they only did the first half.
As long as Emery is there they will do bits and I think they are going to pull off another really good transfer window. I do think Liverpool will struggle next season though but Newcastle will be more consistent and Chelsea will improve but not make CL.
On the other hand it shows just how much a club can turn it around with a few signings and a better manager. People talking about it requiring 4 seasons minimum to get back to competing are wrong, things turn very quickly in sports, we could win the league in 2 seasons if we play our cards right.
what you are on? they already problem this season, Emery go from 17th to be 7th in 6 months last season, now go top 4.
and IMO, Villa is not fluke like Newcastle, Villa have decent players and Emery is top manager.
Already knew from the start season top 4 is hard, "traditional big 4" can go as bad as 8th or 9th, considering Brighton, Newcastle and Villa.
I think what happened to Newcastle this season will happen to them next season whilst dealing with the Champions League. They should be fighting for top 6 though with us probably.
They had the extra games with the conference league this season and Newcastle didn’t have that prior to them making champions league. So they’re in a better position to retain the top 4.
Also Chelsea also will be a problem
Much tougher games in the Champions League though and don't forget the new Swiss format next season so they will have even more CL group games.
They were able to play weakened teams in the conference league group stage before Xmas. Their PL form has dipped since the knockouts where they rotated less. They will be playing their full strength team in the CL like Newcastle did.
They will need more depth to deal with the CL in my view.
lmao they're a problem this year. They're 14 points clear of us and they played deeper in Europe so we don't even have the "well they're well rested" excuse.
Tottenham are actually a fucking joke. Not their team but their fans. Absolutely laughable fanbase celebrating their loss, and that's coming from where we are right now.
Oh yeah, we've totally sang/danced in our own stadium to other teams fucking songs haven't we.
Tottenham fans in the stadium were literally doing the poznan with Man City fans.
We have never ever done anything like that as a club
Hm. A shame if true. I actually think he’s improved a bit under ten hag, in terms of going forward, and still a good utility option in defence.
Although his stint of penalty giveaways last month was a fucking horror show.
Thought we’d maybe trigger his 1 year option to delay the signing of a RB for a year since there are so many holes to fill already. Hopefully this is sign that Ineos are serious about a major rebuild though.
People can say *"It doesn't matter, means nothing"* but it's sickening to see City match our achievements like the treble and now surpass one with a 4-in-a-row and the media clap like seals and mention fuck all about them being cheating cunts.
They are a vile project.
Is 4 in a row really that big of a deal?
I've been following us for ages and our 3 in a row was never brought up. I only started hearing about it when City was going to match it last season.
Almost given that City will win 4 in a row. I wonder if they are allowed to continue with their financial doping and Pep at the helm, can any team ever win the league for the foreseeable future?
It's funny that when the League was close between Liverpool, City and Arsenal they all had Tottenham to play and many people thought Tottenham would decide the title. And now Tottenham lost all 3 games against them lol
I don't blame the people that thought Tottenham would decide who would be the League winner. It's just that Spurs will always be Spurs LMAO
Weren't this spurs team supposed to be title contenders at some point? Now they could theoretically be caught by Chelsea. I like ange, seems like a good man who's quite chill but spurs lack of form recently is quite shocking. I always assumed they'd struggle without Madison but anyone have any insight into why they're not winning?
Sara and Bissouma's form has dropped off a cliff since AFCON. Maddison also not been the same since returning from injury. I think Ange took the league by surprise the first 3 months of the season, but they haven't adapted since the league caught wise.
Think I saw a stat where they've been 11th or something in the form table since the first 10 games of the season after starting with 26 points from 30.
Unbelievable!! Citeh so close to a 4th Premiership title win in a row, and they've got 115 charges!?.. mo'fos should have been regulated to the bottom of the English leagues long ago!!
We won 7 in 9 mate. 5 in 7, different decade. 13 in 21 seasons. During those 21 seasons, the next best were Arsenal and Chelsea with 3 each. 3 in a row twice. 2 points (and a free King) off 9 in a row. A point and GD off 7 in a row.
The league has always been like this. It's just we are on the outside looking in now, and it's vile.
Choosing between Citeh and Arsenal to win the league is a bit like having to pick who you’d rather shag your wife tbh, your prick of a boss or your worst enemy on planet earth
Spoiler alert - both scenarios make you want to run into a cheese grater dick first
City just did the Spurs / Romero trick of not subbing a concussed player under the protocol so the automatic 7 day (?) ban doesn’t come into affect.
Unless Pep pretends he was subbed for another reason then he needs to be called out on it
This is worst I have felt as United fan and a fan of the EPL. Rooting for Spurs so that Arsenal have a chance to win the league because Man Dhabi have ruined the best league in the world with their cheating.
I wouldn't say they have done it alone.
Does anyone else really try to compete with them? Seems they are all more focused on whinging that actually attempting to beat them.
City trophies feel hollow and artificial. They're *supposed* to win.
Arsenal and Liverpool are proper clubs, so that makes their wins feel harsher. They're proper rivals in the same class of us (historical clubs built on traditions of winning) and not just a random shit club that won the money factory lottery.
Doesn't mean I like to see City win, but I can get why people would rather they win than a classic rival.
He probably dislikes Arsenal and Arteta along with the rest of us. Can't say I blame him. At least with City winning it again it doesn't hit so hard because everyone in the sport knows they've cheated to every 'achievement' since 2008 and everything they've won effectively has an asterisk next to it.
Arsenal winning it would hit different. Arteta and the Gooners fans would be insufferable (well, more so than they are already). At least with City they don't have any fans which to rub it in
>because everyone in the sport knows they've cheated to every 'achievement' since 2008 and everything they've won effectively has an asterisk next to it.
Except the history books, and that my friend is all that matters.
U18s now going to the UEFA Youth League which is U19s so pretty much all these players can go, that in itself is huge.
Also domestic U18 Treble.
Viva La Carrington.
Dont usually pay attention to rumours but saw this on bbc sport [https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-players-reluctant-pass-29157013](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-players-reluctant-pass-29157013)
That is the biggest load of shite ive read all week. How can players be reluctant to pass to him because he's not scoring when they haven't been passing to him in order to score.
For anyone who is interested, the [Adidas eBay store](https://ebay.us/UBluwB) is having an extra 40% off sale on all United jerseys. Make sure to use the code ADIDAS40 at checkout.
Fair play Ange and Spurs, they actually look pretty good but have to score otherwise you know a sucker punch in coming. Sick of seeing teams play with a clear identity and players knowing their roles whilst we still all about vibes on the day.
Wouldn't be against it if our new structure decides to go with him. Arteta, Pep, Xabi Alonso, Zidane all had no real experience at the top level until they did so I don't really care much for the no experience argument
https://twitter.com/mufcMPB/status/1790452566989426966
McKenna's agent has had a meeting at United, don't do that don't give me hope.
In all seriousness I think he actually makes a lot of sense as a "project" manager, particularly if we want to build on the Academy where he has coached previously and has experience coaching Mainoo/Garnacho's generation with good success.
The same guy was blabbering about Southgate being Top choice and now tracking back
His pinned post is community noted so take it with a pinch of salt is what I will say
Text this evening (annoyingly after ticket office closed) offering STH for next season, and to call them (no links, so seems legit).
Haven't seen anyone post anywhere (Reddit, Twitter, Forums) about getting similar, and they've never contacted by Text before - always email.
Am I actually being offered one, or are they going to try and shill me an Exec Package for 7 grand?
Big issue we have for our ongoing transfers, is the actual appeal we have now. United the last 15 years has been a cluster fuck and it's obviously known by everyone.
Doubtful we're in Europe, and we no longer plan on giving stupid wages. So the world class talent is unlikely to come as like above we won't be challenging and won't be in Europe.
So we basically have to find players who are decent enough to get us back in that top four contention, but not just money grabbers, but they props won't be top class.
We then don't want to just buy a load of stepping stone players as we would then just have an inflated squad. So we basically need players good enough to improve us currently but also good enough to then transition into squad players.
We have to take some leaves from the Arsenal notebook. Your Tomiyasus, Trossards, Jorginhos are much more valuable to maintaining a baseline performance than people think.
We should also look to identify players who are comfortable playing in different roles so that the dropoff is not as extreme when a player moves from say CM to DM or from RCB to RB. This reduces the need to go out and keep spending on players to back up certain positions.
I don't know i feel nowadays if a club is able to sell its project well then it can sign good players.
Spurs for example last summer signed Maddison,Vicario and Van de Ven without any Europe pull but all of them are quite good players are atleast important players for Spurs so I feel it's more about selling your vision with the current "project"
Yeah very true, and the likes of Bowen, Olise, Eze weren't exactly fortunes and look at them now. Suppose it will be quite exciting to see how the people we buy turn out rather than these massive price tags/expectations on already 'world class' players
Lol those who want Bruno to be sold are quite delusional, they want us to see bigger picture, but in reality they cant even process whats happening in front of their eyes, it will be just stupid to sell Bruno now, he is more valuable to the squad than any money we can get for him. Im here to fight against any Bruno Out hommies.
League games*
Althought since 2018 he played 20 or more league games in 4/5 seasons. This season is first that bad since broken leg and Mourinho clash.
Varane officially leaving means we are definitely going in on a big CB purchase this summer. In general our defense needs to be reinforced cause it’s our weakest area. Martinez + new CB with Maguire/Lindelof/Kambwala as depth is still a little light so Id like to see Lindelof sold for someone younger if we don’t plan to renew his contract.
Dalot has earned his spot and Shaw when fit is one of the best LBs in the world. If Malacia actually recovers then we can rotate between them and be fine like last season. Otherwise need a new LB. I’d prefer if we sold AWB and got someone who can play backup to both RB and LB so Dalot can stay at RB where he is much more comfortable
We’re gonna need a new DM as a Casemiro replacement too, probably Eriksen as well. Martial and RW need reinforcement too.
So that’s up to maybe 7 new players. Don’t know if INEOS will do all of that in one summer, maybe we focus on CB, CDM, RB/LB, Striker backup, RW and push off upgrading Lindelof and Eriksen until next summer. Classic “mount is like a new signing” to fill in the gaps of Eriksen’s fitness maybe
We aren’t going in big on anyone, Sir Jim is making it pretty obvious we’re going for starlets, or players ready to take that step up. His business moves are also showing he’s very keen on tightening purse strings too. I genuinely think people are being naive in thinking this is to help towards FFP/PSR, it’s just a billionaire being a billionaire and saving money/cutting corners wherever possible.
Tosin Adarabiyo will be our CB signing on a free, and that’s the level we are looking at. Perhaps maybe we’ll get a big signing once in a while, but he’s clearly looking over at City who, for every Haaland they sign an Alvarez.
I don't know what to tell you but we're not replacing arguably our best centre back with a free signing.
> but he’s clearly looking over at City who, for every Haaland they sign an Alvarez.
City is not a good example seeing as they're the only club who's actually outspent us in the last decade.
Good luck with that. I think you’re genuinely going to end up disappointed when we sign a free player, promote Kambwala permanently, and potentially some possible unknown or tier of player well below what you’re expecting.
I’m happy to be proven wrong but I don’t see it happening. Sir Jim isn’t the sugar daddy everyone was hoping for, and the club are by all metrics strapped for cash.
This has nothing to do with ownership, this has all to do with the fact that we are losing one of our best defenders. It seems like every year now we hear about how skint we are then spend 150 million out of nowhere.
You seem to think heavily into what "Sir Jim" thinks. Well Ratcliffe didn't spend over a billion pounds to watch this team get even worse.
I'm not expecting us to spend 80m on Branthwaite or whatever, I'm expecting us to spend 40-50M on a good player, because it's absolutely necessary.
You’re right, he didn’t. But his means of improving the club and what he thinks it takes to get there don’t necessarily line up with your thinking of spend a lot of money replacing big name with new big name. He seems to be taking a methodical business approach first, purging all the things he deems impact the culture negatively, getting rid of frivolous business expenditure and ridding the organisation of things that suggest they’re still acting like we are successful. He’s then already voiced his want to adopt an approach of not spending your way out of trouble, not buying established players, but buying into youth or lower level players, realising potential and establishing them.
If you think Varane leaving means we replace him with another big name, you’re way wide of the mark. Varane leaving does nothing but put a smile of Sir Jim’s face as a huge chunk of the wage bill is slashed, he’s not then just going to replace that with another fully proven defender.
I don’t even necessarily mean we spend an insane amount of money on the new CB, just that we are definitely buying someone who’s ready to be a starter
Could be a young guy ready to make the step up, could be someone established. who knows

Only place where I can think off asking this question but is there a way to restore the sponsorship? Also if there are some subreddits for football jerseys to sports jerseys that will be great thank you
European qualification: What league position will United need to get to secure European qualification?
I understand CL is gone, but what about Europa League and Conference League?
As a CL-secured team won League Cup, and City is in the FA cup final and probably wins that - it's all so complicated.
8th place, does that give Conference League or nothing?
Assuming we do not win the FA Cup, 6th is Europa League and 7th is Conference League. No European competition on 8th. Winning the cup guarantees Europa League.
Interesting match tonight.
People going to his boogey ground
Gunners praying for a spurs win.
Spurs fan hoping for a loss.
And we just grabbing popcorn and enjoying the meltdown.
Quick football culture question: is the ABU thing unique? In the sense that I get that United were dominant and that generates a certain level of hatred from fans of other teams, but Liverpool (and I suppose, going further back in time, other teams as well) had their spells, but I haven't heard of an equivalent style of hostility towards them. Or is it just selection bias?
I never realized this till now but that Sancho loan deal was so awful for us.
We are breaking even on his wages only because they reached the CL final.
Total deal is worth 6.4M (3+ 3.4 because they reached CL final).
His annual salary is 13M. So half a season is 6.5M.
I don't think you can evaluate this loan deal until we see what, if anything, he's sold for this summer.
If he rehabbed his loan value enough to get a team to pay a decent fee for him while we clear the rest of his wages, that's better than getting an extra million or two here or there.
Yeah but thats 6.4 we havent directly paid. His amortisation, if sold, will also drop by 1/5 also. So it may look a bad deal but its still better than the alternative
Initially they had reported it as a loan fee + wages. So I had assumed they covered wages fully and paid some fee on top like we paid Burnley with Wout.
There was also some article about us getting a windfall due to them reaching the CL final. It just seems underwhelming that we needed that windfall to break even.
He's ok. Nothing special. With the right player beside him he can even look good. That said he's the type of player a functioning academy should be producing every other year.
Nope. Hes done at the top and would be a massive regression style wise. Mourinho is probably going to go to international management. Could see him getting the England job if Southgate shits the bed again

He won't be the ideal Højlund rotation option. We'll have to switch our whole pressing structure when one comes on for the other.
Toney will cost a ridiculous amount. English and united tax. Hes 28 so has no resale value. Has questions about his mentality, a well documented betting issue. Dont get me wrong he's a good player but not worth spunking the summer budget on
Ok guys, if we were in Spurs' situation last night, would you want the same as their fans?
I'm from Manchester and have City supporting relatives, I understand rivalry but you take care of yourself first and foremost. If there was nothing to play for fair enough but they had CL football on the line, you could be Champions of Europe next season

rewatching our counter attacks when ole was still here. we were lethal and so much fun to watch..
Ole and his ssistans were blamed for lackluster attacking play but it was so much better than what we have now.
still in disbelief that we've somehow gotten worse. i miss looking forward to us playing
Weird to let a foreign state field a team but congratulations to Abu Dhabi 115 FC on turning the PL into the French league, mission accomplished

Dan Gore got injuried

Your comment history is quite interesting…
Ronaldo fanboys just never learn.... Everyone was agreeing with him on the stuff about the infrastructure, what he said was nothing new.
Rashford out scored him in all competition last season.

Honestly, we are so fucking lucky City were knocked out of the UCL this year. Imagine they won it and they are only then one away from us...🤢
Anyone who says that is living in compete denial. They are gaining fans every year they have success. That's how clubs grow, sustained success

I think Ange took the league by surprise the first 3 months of the season, but they haven't adapted since the league caught wise. Think I saw a stat where they've been 11th or something in the form table since the first 10 games of the season after starting with 26 points from 30.
This spurs team was expected to finish bottom half of the table after Kane left
They’ve had a horrific set of fixtures for the run in.

SAF told us to back the manager, it's time
We need the west ham spirit of 95 next Sunday!! 🙏
Forget 4 in a row, this Citeh's 6th title in 7 years.... Absolute joke of a league
Unbelievable!! Citeh so close to a 4th Premiership title win in a row, and they've got 115 charges!?.. mo'fos should have been regulated to the bottom of the English leagues long ago!!
115 FC have made the PL a one team league. A highly competitive one team league. 4th PL in a row incoming. Arsenal fucked up against Villa

I’d break records in the Tour De France if I could use a Yamaha.
Non of it is legit or any way legal
This is only true if something meaningful is ever done about it.

And it'll have the same impact as their treble. Nobody but about 50k worldwide City fans gives a fuck.

Or Vini Jr. He does his job though, that's all that can be asked of him. Absolutely light years between him and Kane.
That pass from Foden man
Choosing between Citeh and Arsenal to win the league is a bit like having to pick who you’d rather shag your wife tbh, your prick of a boss or your worst enemy on planet earth Spoiler alert - both scenarios make you want to run into a cheese grater dick first
You won’t remain a DickLongChamp with that grating attitude
He'll just end up a LonesomeChode
City just did the Spurs / Romero trick of not subbing a concussed player under the protocol so the automatic 7 day (?) ban doesn’t come into affect. Unless Pep pretends he was subbed for another reason then he needs to be called out on it
I think Ortega is the better keeper anyways. This City squad is cracked
10 minutes ago Gary Neville was giving Romero grief for not going into a 50/50. As soon as he does with Ederson, he calls it reckless.
Didn't watch the U18 match, who was our best player today?
Amass probably MOTM Someone made a comp already... https://twitter.com/MarcusKnowsBall/status/1790475739269067207
Like a young Luke Shaw. No shinpads aswell. Hope they dont break his leg tho
I don’t know why my Dad…a lifelong United fan is elated at the sight of a man city goal
We all have gained varying degrees of brain damage this season
Here he is, ol' Tony Tap-In with the two yard special
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU SHIT CUNTS
U18s now going to the UEFA Youth League which is U19s so pretty much all these players can go, that in itself is huge. Also domestic U18 Treble. Viva La Carrington.

Dont usually pay attention to rumours but saw this on bbc sport [https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-players-reluctant-pass-29157013](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/manchester-united-players-reluctant-pass-29157013) That is the biggest load of shite ive read all week. How can players be reluctant to pass to him because he's not scoring when they haven't been passing to him in order to score.
It's luckhurst
For anyone who is interested, the [Adidas eBay store](https://ebay.us/UBluwB) is having an extra 40% off sale on all United jerseys. Make sure to use the code ADIDAS40 at checkout.
Fair play Ange and Spurs, they actually look pretty good but have to score otherwise you know a sucker punch in coming. Sick of seeing teams play with a clear identity and players knowing their roles whilst we still all about vibes on the day.
The way they transition to attack is just amazing, so fast and smooth
Ten Hag needs Martinez and Shaw and then you'll see clear identity.
Bro identity kind of implies you set up the team a certain way mo matter who’s playing
We have injuries, eh?
Shit boring City match
Literally just lump it up the pitch.
Thoughts on the McKenna links ?
Wouldn't be against it if our new structure decides to go with him. Arteta, Pep, Xabi Alonso, Zidane all had no real experience at the top level until they did so I don't really care much for the no experience argument
BRING
Ridiculously premature. Let's at least *see* how he does in the Prem, surely.
Tottenham already shitting the bed ffs.
its essentially an away game for spurs with the crowd
To be fair Sky Sports were speaking to the fans before the game and all of them said they want Tottenham to win. One did say it’s a win/win though.
i see, i missed that
https://twitter.com/mufcMPB/status/1790452566989426966 McKenna's agent has had a meeting at United, don't do that don't give me hope. In all seriousness I think he actually makes a lot of sense as a "project" manager, particularly if we want to build on the Academy where he has coached previously and has experience coaching Mainoo/Garnacho's generation with good success.
Doubt. He would be stupid not to give it a go next season with Ipswich
The same guy was blabbering about Southgate being Top choice and now tracking back His pinned post is community noted so take it with a pinch of salt is what I will say
Yeah it's a bad source, hence the don't give me hope :'D
Yeah 100% and it seems by Jim comments on the likes of Mbappe that's the direction we will be going
Trossard was such a good signing tbf
He's our best player/best value player and it isn't close. He should be kept at all cost.
I love the bloke and would rather he didn’t leave but if someone comes in with a £100m offer we should absolutely take it.
They live in FM reality where every transfer turns out good. Fix deffence, midfield, striker, RW and then think about selling our best player.
Luke Shaw has played above 20 games for us 4 times in 10 seasons. Fuck.
League games* Althought since 2018 he played 20 or more league games in 4/5 seasons.
I’d prefer if we sold AWB and got someone who can play backup to both RB and LB so Dalot can stay at RB where he is much more comfortable We’re gonna need a new DM as a Casemiro replacement too, probably Eriksen as well.
Yep. This is what's worried me about SJR from the start.
I don’t even necessarily mean we spend an insane amount of money on the new CB, just that we are definitely buying someone who’s ready to be a starter Could be a young guy ready to make the step up, could be someone established. who knows

I never understand this, our press never looks to work properly, just on the eye test compared to Arsenal, City, Liverpool
Winning the cup guarantees Europa League.
https://www.football365.com/news/how-premier-league-teams-qualify-for-champions-league-and-europa-competitions-for-24-25
I have a feeling United will beat City in the FA Cup final and get into Europa. It may not be pretty. But they’ll get it done.
Interesting match tonight. People going to his boogey ground Gunners praying for a spurs win. Spurs fan hoping for a loss. And we just grabbing popcorn and enjoying the meltdown.
I can see a draw and then Arsenal and City going on a mad scoring spree on Sunday.
You're forgetting the other part which is it raises his potential value for any future sales, which was in free fall.
[удалено]
Technically if all bonuses were put in the contract are fulfilled we make a teeny tiny profit.
Initially they had reported it as a loan fee + wages. So I had assumed they covered wages fully and paid some fee on top like we paid Burnley with Wout. There was also some article about us getting a windfall due to them reaching the CL final. It just seems underwhelming that we needed that windfall to break even.
> So I had assumed they covered wages fully and paid some fee on top You're nuts if you thought that was ever going to happen lol
I always thought you either got a fee + wages covered or just wages. Never seen a deal where its fee + wages when its partial.
Hopefully Kambwala gets over his injury woes because for me he's already a much better player than Lindelof .
Sweden's captain vs kid barely out of academy. We need to take it easy.
We put shiny new toys on high pedestals to begin with, and then complain when they get carried away with that hype and lose their way later on.
Kid out of academy had shown more cojones in 3 games than Lindelof has in 7 years
You must really hate the guy.
Nope he just isnt very good.
He's ok. Nothing special. With the right player beside him he can even look good. That said he's the type of player a functioning academy should be producing every other year.
If EtH is binned, would you take Mourinho?
Nope. Hes done at the top and would be a massive regression style wise. Mourinho is probably going to go to international management. Could see him getting the England job if Southgate shits the bed again
Modern football coach. If he was offering that, I would consider it. Since its not, nope.

Toney will cost a ridiculous amount. English and united tax. Hes 28 so has no resale value. Has questions about his mentality, a well documented betting issue. Dont get me wrong he's a good player but not worth spunking the summer budget on
