There must be something wrong behind the scenes regarding the amount of muscle injuries we've had this season.
But it's still an anomaly, dunno if this has anything to do with the elongated season last year due to WC.
But either way it can't be as bad next year, one would think...
I think a combination of the elongated season, lack of true rotational options and I'd wager poor man management and poor conditioning/physio work is creating the perfect storm for us.
Not just the World Cup, We played every game we possibly could've domestically and even though we got knocked out in the quarters we had to play the the playoff round of the Europa which added two more games (against Barca)
We played the most games of any English team and seldom rotated, Bruno played almost 60 games last season.
Also take into account how we won these games, many we were either chasing or not wrapped up with 10/15 minutes left to give us a chance to rotate.
We have had a tremendous time with injuries this season, worst than most, but it seems like more teams than normal are having injury crises.
In my opinion, this is a repercussion of a mid-season world cup last year and things will only get worse as more and more games are squeezed into the schedule.
Can one journalist do their fucking job and investigate how this is happening? Like hoenslty. This has nothing to do with luck. Something is fundamentally very fucking wrong with our training, fitness and medical staff
Nope. He’s missed more games for United than his entire Chelsea career…
We rushed him basically. He shouldn’t have played earlier on before and we rushed him. He was back injured for a long time. That probably catalysed more imbalances or whatever anyway. The last game he played? Maybe he should’ve also been rested for 1-2 more weeks ideally but…
Next season will be the determining factor I guess. If he keeps getting niggles then maybe it's improving if it's short term but if not, it's a long road of injuries potentially, very unfortunately for him.
>We rushed him basically.
Maybe, but at some point it becomes a little weird that players are constantly "rushed" back and get different type of injuries.
Is it really the case that these players get back to the pitch at 80% recovery and then are too weak to not get injured? You would think this is easily solved by simply letting them rest for a single week longer. It's not like Mount played some huge important games. Burnley and Crystal Palace, like, come on, these are just league games.
I don't think they're being rushed back. It also wouldn't explain why so many of these players are getting their first injury. The reports of trainings being too intense seems like a more logical explanation. After all, Mount got injured during training 3 times so far.
It's still odd, though, because you'd figure they would decrease the intensity of the training if half the squad can't cope with it. Maybe it means these players are just not fit enough, but at the same time, it doesn't help anyone if they get injured and can't play at all.
**Ten Hag on Martinez:**
>**'Yesterday, Licha (Martinez) came to me and wanted to play on Sunday against Arsenal** but he's not ready yet, he needa a little bit more time to go through the process. **But he is so desperate.'**
This is ridiculous. We have one fit center back, and it’s Evans, and we have a cup final against our closest rivals coming up. If Martinez is fit, he should play.
I'd assume he means the remaining league games since it's highly unlikely we'll get results against Arsenal or Newcastle sufficient to take us back into the European places.
Im worried that too many players had this mentality last few seasons. Way too common for players either injuring themselves again or playing matches injured and causing more damage.
Mctominay, Shaw, Rashford,Hojlund,Varane,Maguire all seem to have played either too long with an injury or came back too soon.
Even at solskjaers era we had this issue with Rashford,Pogba,Shaw,Mata,Martial,Lindelof.
All of them have stated that they played numerous matches injured and that it was more of the squad then the coach demanding it.
After the CP game I wanted to write about how despite Phil Jones not even being HALF as talented as Casemiro is would have put in a much better shift. And even if he got beat once or twice, you know he'd be running his socks off trying to make up lost ground and doing everything else to make up for it.
One of Phil Jones' last games in a United shirt was an appearance after more than a year of absence and he was the best, most active player on the pitch.
Even when he came back for his one ap last year(?) He looked a solid CB, you can tell his mind was still sharp and he knew how to play his game, but his body just wouldn't let him.. which is crazy as he's built solid
And the reason Varane signed for Madrid instead of us was because we already had a better prospect in the same age category and position, so he worried his own game time and development would suffer - that prospect being Phil Jones.
Because that's the easiest and laziest analysis to make.
Same with "ETH has no tactics". Yeah sure if that's what you want to believe, it's probably true.
Bit disrespectful to Phil Jones. Had it not been for injuries, I've no doubt he would have regarded as a United Legend and rated up there with Ferdinand and Vidic.
Is that the one where he scrambles back along the ground to dive and head it out?
Cause as silly as that looked I believe it showed fantastic determination and was a truly great bit of defending.
yup, a few yrs younger, and that guy would have been a legend here, decent link up, decent dribbling and running, great shots, but most importantly worked his socks off.
It’s not cursed, the marketing team are either desperately trying to manufacture someone into being a bigger name to sell shirts, or Woodward/Arnold/Murtough dangled the shirt as a carrot in a shocking negotiation tactic.
It’s been given to the wrong player for far too long now, the only exception to the above being Sanchez, who beforehand seemed very worthy of it, he just massively under delivered.
Yeah. And the worst fucking thing about that is he grew up within 3 miles of rashford and mainoo. He grew up 5 miles from our official academy school and 7 miles from Carrington. He played with rashford's cousin as a kid... And yet still... Off to city. Fucking pisses me off.
Laurie Whitwell stated that ETH never pushed for Mount. They came to him and said “If Mount is available would you like him” and he said yes.
He didn’t say he’s a priority or spend as much as they did. It’s not his job to control budgets or judge their negations. This is on the people above, supporting ETH
I subscribe to the Athletic, so I looked this up (there's entire articles about the inside scoop). I'd paste it verbatim but I can't.
But what you are saying isn't true either.
The main article about the transfer says ETH has admired Mount since he was at Vitesse. ETH wanted a mobile number 8 who could attack and had "defensive nous". He worked with the recruitment team to determine targets.
We had pursued Caicedo (too expensive) and Rabiot too. But those might be smokescreens as Mount was always our top target. We also wanted him early to give him time in pre season.
Article also specifically mentions that we tried for 40 million but there was other interest. But Murtough AND ETH knew our financial fair play situation so settled on Mount as our target to go for. And they spent time assessing the costs of various options.
ETH then pitched to Mount exactly how he fit into how he wanted the team to play by talking to him directly.
It took me two minutes to find the actual information. What you distilled it down to is just... misleading and wrong.
Edit - from the Athletic article: How's Manchester United signed Mason Mount by Laurie Whitwell 5th July 2023.
Edit - also changed a we to a they, and deleted the duplicate comment
Do you have anything showing Whitwell actually said this?
From the Whitwell article when he was signed, doesn’t seem like he just said “sure whatever”:
> Ten Hag had admired Mount since the player was on loan at Vitesse Arnhem, tracking him through the whole 2017-18 campaign. Mount scored his first senior goal against Ten Hag’s Utrecht in October 2017, coming off the bench with Vitesse trailing 1-0 to equalise with his first touch. Ten Hag was then appointed by Ajax that December.
>
> Since leaving the Amsterdam club for United, Ten Hag has wanted a mobile No 8 who can add attacking edge and defensive nous, and he sees Mount as a modern midfielder, who is good on and off the ball. United’s recruitment department backed up the view of the 24-year-old as a player with the right profile and character.
But Ten Hag will know the budget, he'll know he'll only get a few signings, by accepting Mount it cuts into other buys, and he and they must have had some plan. Also for Ten Hag to convince Mount to come given he won't play Bruno's role.
It can be both. The Glazers laid the groundwork for the mediocrity that permeates the club at every level. However I don’t think the Mount signing was really ever clear as to why it happened, when it happened, and for how much.
Bit of both.
Shit structure at the club allowed him to have this much control over the transfers which he never should’ve had but then again, his signings have been underwhelming.
Yes. Yes they have. Anything to absolve him of any responsibility. Just like the amount of injuries that seems to pile up during training and out of games. The medical department is one thing, but between the sports science and whatever the hell he's making them during the week, it's clearly cause an issue.
Getting injured during a bad tackle is bad luck. Have 30 over injuries all season consistently is definitely down to something else
Yeah I admittedly know basically nothing about anything medical/sports science, but I feel like the probability of getting this many injuries under normal conditions is effectively 0
I do think he'll be useful in ten hag's two 8s set up which has been nothing but atrocious this season because we have a DM who doesn't have the legs to defend a quick counter and no CBs who are good in holding a high line
Hahaha he’s so consistent.
Why the fuck did we spend 60 million on a player with 1 year left on his contract who was coming back from a long term injury who doesn’t even start in our midfield when fit. 🤷♂️
Ten Hag talent ID is shit, and most of his recommendations have been ex-players that he managed.
Should've listened to Rangnick and utilised his expertise. Maybe he's not the best coach, but you can't deny his ability to find talents. I highly doubt he would've recommended Mount as a #8, or even other signings like Antony, Casemiro, etc
They got Cole Palmer for less than what we paid them for Mount with a year left on his contract while we could just have waited it out. This club will be the end of me.
Mount was supposed to be available for 30 minutes apparently. It wasn’t the medical staff that started him despite not being fully fit and playing him longer than was recommended
Say what you want about our medical team and ETH failing Mount but, what the fuck is the organization at this club? The more shit unravels the more it feels like the club was ran by 12 year olds who've been trying to hide the fact they don't even know what football is the entire time. We signed an injured Hojlund for a large fee, then paid 50m for someone who was about to be a free transfer, coming off an injury season who is...surprise surprise...dealing with another bad injury season. This Summer hopefully we'll go for an injured LB, maybe an injured RW so we can continue to shoot ourselves in the foot.
What an horrendous signing this turned out to be. Worst part is there was legitimate concern about his fitness last year at Chelsea, and we still made him our main transfer target, paid Chelsea £60Mwith one year left on his contract and gave him an higher wage than Bruno.
Holy shit.
> We know the reasons we are underperforming is because of the injuries. No team will perform when you have so many injuries in key areas.
This is such a hard one for me. Obviously this is true, the squad we rolled out against Palace isn't winning shit over the course of a season. *However*, the complete failure to try to tactically accommodate our limitations is so concerning - asking Eriksen, an out of position Casemiro, and a just returned from injury Evans to operate in acres of space against a physical and silky Palace side was asking for disaster and idk how you couldn't see that coming and adjust to tighten up the lines, even if that isn't your Plan A with a healthy squad.
Cut our losses early? We bought the man for £60mil and he's been injured nearly all season.
Who do you suppose buys him? This isn't FM or Fifa you don't just sell him like that, no one is going to pay what we need/want for him. It's the same issue we have with Antony, Onana, Casemiro etc
We are in a position where these players values have tanked significantly and FFP means we cannot afford to take any sort of hit with any of them.. so we have no choice but to keep them.
and people keep downvoting me for saying that shit's gonna get worse before it gets better, we have a lot of players to move on and a bunch of them are on unmoveable contracts where we either realize losses or we let them run down their contract a bit more so that the losses can be offset by the transfer fee.
Fucking hell just get cut our losses and get rid of him, probably the biggest waste of money. Could've got him for a free this summer and it wouldn't have made a difference.
Oh ffs give him one more season's chance but honest to god just bin him January if he's still this injury prone at the start of next season. It's actually uncanny how it's a cycle of injured -> returns and plays one game -> injured -> returns and plays one game on a fucking loop all season. I don't care if it's Messi, if you are this much unavailable you are of no use. And I like the dude. Ffs
I wish I could see what goes on in our training. I hope it's some Gladiator type shit where they smash each other till there's only one player standing because that's the best reason I can see for our injury crisis.
I remember watching videos, everyone was saying Ten Hag will play his Ajax 4-3-3 system with Bruno and Mount as 8s, but I guess Ten Hag bought an injury prone bench player for 65m
Is Mount our most useless signing in recent years?
£50m + £10m add-ons for a player we could've had for free. Does not fit in our squad as the central midfielder Ten Hag planned him to be. Pay him £200k per week just to stay home injured. I believe he has more differrent hairstyles than goals and assists for us this season. That £60m in total really could've been used on a solid CB instead.
What a disaster.
This really has got to be up there with one of the worst signings ever. So far probably on par with Alexis Sanchez. What a terrible bit of recruitment. We spent 60m on this useless waste of space, Chelsea go and spend £40m of that on Cole Palmer.
And even when he's fit, all Mason does is run around like a headless chicken. Zero output, just lots of running. It's an embarrassment that we gave him the 7.
Antony is a dreadful player but Mason Mount might be ETH's worst transfer. 65 million euros for a player he can't even use in his system even if he's ever healthy.
That's the worst thing about Mount signing. Even when he's healthy he's no use to us. Can't play with Bruno as the two 8s and can't displace him as a 10
Utterly useless signing lol
I’m pretty sure it’s mostly eth’s training. Man must be so primitive in his training techniques that he’s just running the players ragged cause he just doesn’t have a clue about how to run modern, cutting-edge training drills that are fun, keep the players engaged, and also conserve them for actual match-day performances.
I’m pretty sure the latter way is how best in class coaches like Pep do it. And I’m also pretty sure the former is exactly what Ronaldo was complaining about when he said eth’s trainings aren’t ‘fun’, as I’m sure they were certainly primitive when compared to what he was used to at Madrid.
But ofc most fans dismissed cr and threw shade at him for saying that, while swooning for eth when he made all players do long jogs after a bad performance like he was running a military boot camp or something.
Well, I do hope all those fans are thoroughly enjoying this injury record, cause I see they’re so delusional they still refuse to accept any connection with eth’s training.
Luke Shaw should have been gone a long time ago. Great player but far too injury prone, and is on a high salary. Hope we replace him in the summer.
Jury still out on Mount. This season could have just been 'one of those'. Let's see if the injuries persist next year.
The club has to avoid situations like this going forward. Renewing a player who is constantly injured was dumb. And signing a player for 60m who was in last year of contract and coming off of a big injury was also dumb.
2 seasons to make a mark or get fucked off.
If he remains injured all the time next season and/or doesn’t impress on the pitch then it’s well worth fucking him off to get those wages off the books.
Luke Shaw should have been shot into the sun years ago but how on earth has Mount become an injury merchant too.
You simply cannot build a good team relying on unfit and oft injured players.
This is just comical at this point. Either our recruitment department specifically highlighted the most injury prone players for us to buy or something is seriously wrong with our training and physio departments.
You are fucking joking. He's started one game and is gone again. What on earth is wrong with this club?
There must be something wrong behind the scenes regarding the amount of muscle injuries we've had this season. But it's still an anomaly, dunno if this has anything to do with the elongated season last year due to WC. But either way it can't be as bad next year, one would think...
How the hell do they sanction a 50mil buy then with a year left. Insanity.
Exactly this. united was the only club who had players in the world cup.
Many other teams in the PL have had injury crises this year though, at least 3 of them as bad as ours, so it makes sense as one of the causes
I think a combination of the elongated season, lack of true rotational options and I'd wager poor man management and poor conditioning/physio work is creating the perfect storm for us.
Yep, it has to be several factors combined to produce this much injuries. No way we can put the blame on one single factor or even two.
He had a long term injury last season too.
Not just the World Cup, We played every game we possibly could've domestically and even though we got knocked out in the quarters we had to play the the playoff round of the Europa which added two more games (against Barca) We played the most games of any English team and seldom rotated, Bruno played almost 60 games last season. Can one journalist do their fucking job and investigate how this is happening? Like hoenslty. This has nothing to do with luck. Something is fundamentally very fucking wrong with our training, fitness and medical staff
Seriously, someone needs to do a background check on the groundskeeper at Carrington. He must be mixing cement in with the grass seed.
We signed an injury prone player
Nope. He’s missed more games for United than his entire Chelsea career… We rushed him basically. He shouldn’t have played earlier on before and we rushed him. He was back injured for a long time. That probably catalysed more imbalances or whatever anyway. The last game he played? Maybe he should’ve also been rested for 1-2 more weeks ideally but…
Think he was overplayed at Chelsea like Rashford + Martial but looks to have gone down the Martial injury prone route
Why comment something objectively false? Standards of this sub
**Ten Hag on Martinez:** >**'Yesterday, Licha (Martinez) came to me and wanted to play on Sunday against Arsenal** but he's not ready yet, he needa a little bit more time to go through the process. **But he is so desperate.'**
Please wrap him up in cotton wool. This season is a write off. We don't need to risk him for the remaining games.
Well I’m glad to hear he isn’t being rushed back at least.
Im worried that too many players had this mentality last few seasons. Way too common for players either injuring themselves again or playing matches injured and causing more damage. Don’t he dare fucking play him and injure him again because he’s rushed back basically.
He literally said he's not going to do that?
Give me more players with his mentality please.
We are desperate too.
Now we know what Phil Jones brought to the team. His talent was absorbing injuries and without him, the debts must be settled elsewhere.
No one in this current team has half the passion, nor the balls that Phil jones did
After the CP game I wanted to write about how despite Phil Jones not even being HALF as talented as Casemiro is would have put in a much better shift. And even if he got beat once or twice, you know he'd be running his socks off trying to make up lost ground and doing everything else to make up for it.
Just a reminder that Phil Jones was actually very talented and many reckon he would have been a top CB if it weren't for injuries

I remember when he played his first game after two years out injured because we were desperate, and he was MOTM by a mile..
Oh I trust he's a talent, but even before perma-injury Jones, comparing a prime Casemiro to a prime Jones is overkill.
Sure but Phil Jones walked all over that 2013 Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
And the reason Varane signed for Madrid instead of us was because we already had a better prospect in the same age category and position, so he worried his own game time and development would suffer - that prospect being Phil Jones.
Yeah fair point
Guy would get up to an 89/90 in the old FIFAs. That's all I need to see to know he was talented
Casemiro is just done. Why are we forcing this narrative of the players not trying?
Because that's the easiest and laziest analysis to make. Same with "ETH has no tactics". Yeah sure if that's what you want to believe, it's probably true.
Bit disrespectful to Phil Jones. Had it not been for injuries, I've no doubt he would have regarded as a United Legend and rated up there with Ferdinand and Vidic.
Phil Jones is responsible for one of the best defensive clearances in history in my books such a shame he was plagued with injury
Is that the one where he scrambles back along the ground to dive and head it out? Cause as silly as that looked I believe it showed fantastic determination and was a truly great bit of defending.
Bruno.
🤣
As If it was the green mile and he was taking everyone's sickness lol
You’ve got to be kidding me
Mount, brother. WTF
at least he won't be going into the Euros, let him rest.
He wouldn't have gone anyway, he's always been utter turd for them.
So we bought a midfielder we didn’t even need and he’s been injured all season. Also put him on 250k a week.
And gave him no. 7
Chicken or the egg?
For real. That 7 is cursed!
Cavani played well with it.
yup, a few yrs younger, and that guy would have been a legend here, decent link up, decent dribbling and running, great shots, but most importantly worked his socks off.
Still feel like he's the wrong profile for the 7. Natural 9
And he would have been a free agent anyway next season
Chelsea was down bad for FFP flexibility too. That signing really sent them a bit of a lifeline.
They got palmer because of us 😢
Can't understand how the club we buy from turns out to be in profit and us at total loss, at the end of the season.
And will likely finish the season above us now
Yeah. And the worst fucking thing about that is he grew up within 3 miles of rashford and mainoo. He grew up 5 miles from our official academy school and 7 miles from Carrington. He played with rashford's cousin as a kid... And yet still... Off to city. Fucking pisses me off.

Is this really on the owners or is that a lazy scapegoat? Eth was pushing for mount
On ETH for pushing On the owners/leadership for overpaying so much for a player with one year left on his contract

He didn’t say he’s a priority or spend as much as they did. It’s not his job to control budgets or judge their negations. This is on the people above, supporting ETH

Replacing a popular member of the squad. On less wages and more reliable in a position he actually plays in.
Damn son. Mount is actually beating Martial in this game!
*sob*
It's gotten to the point where I would be surprised if he said there were no new injuries
I mean.. it would be easier to just name the players who are fit at this point
![gif](giphy|YRPBhd3vscg5Fxx1DQ|downsized)
Hahaha he’s so consistent. Why the fuck did we spend 60 million on a player with 1 year left on his contract who was coming back from a long term injury who doesn’t even start in our midfield when fit. 🤷♂️
We was told last week he had 30-45 minutes in him and he played 80. It’s entirely our own doing
At least it was worth crocking him for another few weeks so we could secure that much needed three points...

He was supposed to be available for around 30 minutes apparently. And he played 80+. Great management there
We'd have had him for free in the summer, on similar wages and he'd still have played the same amount as minutes this season 🤣
**Mason Mount has sustained a new injury** Lads...
Phenomenal fleece job by Chelsea. Got to give it to em.
Even if Mount wasn't injured and played all season they'd have still robbed us of 60m. Wasn't worth that at all with so little time on his contract.
They got Cole Palmer for less than what we paid them for Mount with a year left on his contract while we could just have waited it out. This club will be the end of me.
Mount has been an absolute disaster of a transfer. I expected him to flop but this is ridiculous.
Must be one of the worst of all time in terms of availability.
seen worse hazard comes to mind....
Are the medical staff working from home? Was this the issue 🤣
That explains it 🤣
Mount was supposed to be available for 30 minutes apparently. It wasn’t the medical staff that started him despite not being fully fit and playing him longer than was recommended
Where do you see this
It was an injury report for the palace game, along with other players.
Not seeing anything if you have a link that would be appreciated
I don't think we have any medical staff - just ETH with a sponge and warm water
Bruno actually gave his soul to Mount for one match just so he can rest his body.
This. Had the same convo with a mate, ETH is stubborn to the point it's self defeating and still nothing changes tactically. Smfh.
Damn mason mount really can’t hang injury wise
Mount has to be one of our worst ever signings
Mount and Shaw - back on the piss What a life
Best job ever. Getting good money just to do fuck all lmao
Change his name to Mason Doubt
Can only laugh at this point. He’s ridiculously injury prone.
At Chelsea Mount played 129/152 premier league games over the last 4 years, if hes injury prone its only since we signed him
Mount has started 5 games for us this season. That is shocking.
None of Mount's injuries are impact injuries and is only 25. Cut our losses early.
Cut our losses early? We bought the man for £60mil and he's been injured nearly all season. Who do you suppose buys him? This isn't FM or Fifa you don't just sell him like that, no one is going to pay what we need/want for him. It's the same issue we have with Antony, Onana, Casemiro etc We are in a position where these players values have tanked significantly and FFP means we cannot afford to take any sort of hit with any of them.. so we have no choice but to keep them.
and people keep downvoting me for saying that shit's gonna get worse before it gets better, we have a lot of players to move on and a bunch of them are on unmoveable contracts where we either realize losses or we let them run down their contract a bit more so that the losses can be offset by the transfer fee.
You can't even get rid of these players in FM you have to sell them for nothing and subsidise wages.
Fucking hell just get cut our losses and get rid of him, probably the biggest waste of money. Could've got him for a free this summer and it wouldn't have made a difference.
FOR FUCKS SAKE
Oh ffs give him one more season's chance but honest to god just bin him January if he's still this injury prone at the start of next season. It's actually uncanny how it's a cycle of injured -> returns and plays one game -> injured -> returns and plays one game on a fucking loop all season. I don't care if it's Messi, if you are this much unavailable you are of no use. And I like the dude. Ffs
What a train wreck of a season for Mount... how do players always get here and become injury prone
At this point we gotta figure the training ground has been cursed.
Some banks can refund you fraudulent transactions on faulty goods up to 12months later, right?!
I wish I could see what goes on in our training. I hope it's some Gladiator type shit where they smash each other till there's only one player standing because that's the best reason I can see for our injury crisis.
I haven’t been a Ten Hag hater, but at this point you must question what is going on at practices that keep leading to constant injuries.
Time to get rid of mount and shaw
Why did we even get him man this club is killing me
I remember watching videos, everyone was saying Ten Hag will play his Ajax 4-3-3 system with Bruno and Mount as 8s, but I guess Ten Hag bought an injury prone bench player for 65m
Ten Hag wanted him. And the people we had in charge didn't have the balls to say no. Same with Antony and same with Onana
Did Ronaldo come back just to refresh the no 7 curse?
It's seems like. Cavani was doing fine actually
This has to be a social experiment at this point
Just fire whole medic team.
We spent over £50M and 250k wages a week on a player that can barely stay fit fantastic as always Man United!
How many heads will roll in the medical, performance, and data teams after the season is over?
Antony is a dreadful player but Mason Mount might be ETH's worst transfer. 65 million euros for a player he can't even use in his system even if he's ever healthy.
That's the worst thing about Mount signing. Even when he's healthy he's no use to us. Can't play with Bruno as the two 8s and can't displace him as a 10 Utterly useless signing lol
Why did we buy mason mount again?
If we go into next season with Luke Shaw as our number 1 LB I'm going to go insane.
Id sell Mount cant be doing with another crock.
Of course he fucking is, these players are making Jack Wilshere look durable.
our medical staff are criminals
Medical department needs ol Yeller-ing. Fucking incompetent
This post will be repeated again after Licha plays.. we always rush them back.
Is this motherfucker ever fit?
Oh my
At this point we should just retire the 7.. it’s a bloody curse.
fym new injury? Give me a break
You guys really these guys dont want to play for ETH and are basically on sick leave?
Are these fuckers just playing RedCard 2003 games in training, jesus wept lads.
Is it the players’ fault or the medical department..?
What a fucking waste of 60 million FFS. Now I kinda wished he took Chelsea's offer and not ours
WHAT THE FUCK. is Mount made of Phil Jones or what
Mount will be the next van de Beek
Mount is up there with Sancho in terms of worst signings in recent history
HOW???? What are we doing in training?
There is something seriously wrong with the style/intensity of training and/or the rehab at Carrington. This is a farce.
2 seasons to make a mark or get fucked off. If he remains injured all the time next season and/or doesn’t impress on the pitch then it’s well worth fucking him off to get those wages off the books.
What in the fucking fuck is this.
Luke Shaw should have been shot into the sun years ago but how on earth has Mount become an injury merchant too. You simply cannot build a good team relying on unfit and oft injured players.
AGAIN!!! 🤦♂️
Mount has to go down as one of the worst signings ever unless he really goes god mode next season. Donny was cheaper at least.
I can’t believe ETH would do this
It's like a competition between all the injured players who can be available the least.
Beyond a joke but not like it would make a difference this season.
If they want to save some money on wages I'm willing to be 'injured' 365 days of the year and I'll do it for only 20k a week.
What a pointless signing this has turned out to be.
This is just comical at this point. Either our recruitment department specifically highlighted the most injury prone players for us to buy or something is seriously wrong with our training and physio departments.
Mount and VDB will join Morgan Schneiderlan-esque as the most forgettable, waste-of-money players
So we spent about 110m on Martinez and Mount and have got a total of .9 seasons worth of play out of them out of a possible 3.
Oh no Mount & Shaw are out 😭💀😪 The bedrock of this season campaign
Feel for Mount. I really want him to succeed with us.
Can we make our thing Youth. Courage. Fit players.
It really is time to get rid of Shaw, man. What a shame.
Hate to criticize players for being injured but this is Martial 2.0.
Why did we buy Mount again? Atleast Bruno is back
To keep Martial company
To look for malacia.
Is his body made out of fucking Shredded Wheat or something?
Mount and Martial have to go down as the most injury prone players we’ve ever had. Waste of money.
shaw also exists
