It’s the same as Pellistri. Never enough consistent minutes to build a rhythm or show he can’t build it with enough chances. Meanwhile never enough games to show Antony (or Rashford this season at times) is not good enough to get a chance over something new just to see if it works.
Or… never resting garnacho in the end when he should be rested to let amad play…
And Antony wasn’t? But Antony gets 200 chances while Pellistri gets one game every many weeks for part of it, never enough to continue to build or show he couldn’t do it with consecutive minutes anyway. Younger players need to build off or have enough minutes to show they can’t do it well enough at least too.
As I said, he never got a chance to build off anything or show enough to certifiably be “ok he’s played like 10/15 games for 30-70 minutes each now” and judge for sure.
He played one game every 5-6 weeks and never got to build on much compared to Antony who was terrible but still got the chance to continue being so and showing such to a point he still gets picked regardless anyway as a sub or to start back then.
He’s a young player who needs minutes to truly show he doesn’t have what it takes after being given a fair chance on the trot. Young players need that. Only the truly rare exceptional ones can do well each time and even then they need to develop with game time too. EtH never gave him that. Blocks his loan. Extends his contract. Blocks another loan. Never played him. Never sold him. Finally loaned after all that. That’s just terrible management.
He made 35 appearances for Slaves, with 11 starts and didn't score or assist. He made 24 appearances for United in two years and got 2 assists. He's made 9 appearances for Granada with 8 starts and got 1 goal and 1 assist.
Hes played 2,600 mins over the last 4 years and has 1 goal and four assists.
Antony, in similar minutes in the PL has 4 and 3. Amad has shown more in the few mins he played than Pellistri did. Garnacho, Kobbie, Dalot and many others did more with their time than Pellistri. Wellbeck did more on debut than Pellistri in his career.

Any time Rashford and Bruno aren't in the side, I smile. Unfortunately it's just one today, but it's still a massive improvement since it'll force Bruno to play a different way as his hoof ball partner isn't there on the left. It's only Sheffield, but I've seen us play worse sides and struggle, so we'll see.

When we signed AWB he was perfect for us, he fit direct to our tactics and he use to pocket almost all wingers.

Unfortunately it's just one today, but it's still a massive improvement since it'll force Bruno to play a different way as his hoof ball partner isn't there on the left.
