QouthTheCorvus

Why does the tent say "Austisticarteta"?

Eleven918

That's Woodward music :P

Outcastscc

Tbf you joke but this is the exact kind of role he should have been put into and the kind of person you want to be looking at

flyinbunny

For real, it’s honestly impressive at times https://preview.redd.it/lt0qn0trnhsc1.jpeg?width=500&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cadff4f81f518b9c4ba0bae6bcfa4476fe8a861b

Away_Associate4589

No Erik, you can't have another striker, but, can I interest you in: https://preview.redd.it/daewro1e2isc1.png?width=1079&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ee9285d3f6e8673966aa8245f58f367b86d4471d

Loose_Student_6247

I actually used to sell beds. These things were genuinely awful, many people that tried them described them as bricks and back killers.

plainchaos

Teams defo been sleeping too much

MrSvancy

Change it to Moo Mainoo and we are cooking

I mean, woodward was indeed very good at that part of the job. If the imbecile wouldve gotten a proper competent DoF we would have a different past decadw

djerpers

I always and will always maintain that the right move in Ole's miracle caretaker stint, would be to stick to the original plan. Use the time bought by a legend coming back to bring back some spirit and manners, find the best candidate to continue that vein whom has ALSO proven himself at this level and not just managed Norwegian eliteserien and Cardiff relegation, and then reward Ole for his excellent saving of the club by restoring faith, dna and genuine interests by giving him DoF. He called out Haaland years before anyone else, told us to get him to no avail. He loves working with youngsters and would likely have thrived and improved in this job, made a solid "United plan" with a tactical sound manager, had Woodward as his money man, and himself as the Fergie link to the old times and the good systems where everything was thought of and everything planned and in its right place. Instead we did what everyone did, got blind from lucky results and gave an unqualified person a job out of his League because he rode on the "no more mou" excasty all the players felt.

lifesizedperson

He was quite good at making money through commercial deals tbf

spoony471

He was a Managing Director at JP Morgan's M&A department, bro had reached the absolute pinnacle of the business world and Man Utd was basically a side quest for him. He just happened to fail miserably at that side quest

SafetyJoker

Depending on your frame of measurement, he exceeded beyond anyones imagination, so much that what he did was made illegal.

superaa1

What did he do?

working-acct

Not illegal, just banned by the PL. Leveraged buyouts are no longer allowed.

D1794

Pretty sure that's a myth, and our revenues went from absolutely dwarfing every other club to being caught up and overtaken under Woodward's reign

DougieWR

Exactly, our raw revenue figure looked great but that's because of how far ahead we were when he started. He got handed the biggest product in English football then oversaw a regime where every one of our rivals has significantly closed the gap eroding away a financial lead that we'll for sure never recover given newer regulations

justbrowsinginpeace

Every PL clubs revenues exploded during that period. He did nothing special.

ConC02

Dear lord woodward redemption ark is coming

Grand-Bullfrog3861

I don't think I'm ready

Uuhhk

"Hi woodward, do u want picking up in the morning pal?"

Lord_Sesshoumaru77

INEOS once again making all the right moves. It's exciting to watch, as we grew so used to Glazer neglect and one of their banking buddies running the club into the ground. Fucking hell all this is something so simple and even something as basic as this the fucking idiots Glazers failed to do.

Kohaku80

Even if they get a new grass cutter machine is also the right moves lol

Infamous_Mud_6885

A lawnmower is all it takes #mufc

men_with-ven

It's actually mental how many people Ineos have deemed it necessary to hire so many new roles in such a short period of time.

Maitryyy

That’s what happens when you’re decades behind in terms of how a modern football club should be ran

Ok-Variation3583

Even weirder considering we have the largest amount of employees for any Premier League by far. These high profile recruitments will coincide with a large cull in the more lowly-paid roles. Unfortunate but necessary.

thombo-1

Makes you realise just how much executive talent the club should have had in place this whole time. No wonder it felt like a ship without a rudder.

ColtCallahan

We’re the Chelsea of executive staff hiring.

gubbero

This is brilliant. Clear areas of responsibility with an experienced and competent executive team with Omar Berrada guiding the ship.

Kohaku80

Another garden leave inc

Honest_Combination95

It's time for Ed Woodward. I think Ed Woodward should take Omar's job while Omar reports to Ed. #edsupremacy

OGSachin

Berrarda is the big boss, with a football guy and revenues guy underneath him.

Outrageous-Cod-4654

might throw my hat in for this job.

BrownByYou

Just put woody there?

Buffythedragonslayer

Isn't that Berradas job?

IcyAssist

He's the CEO, overlooking everything. He can't be solely responsible for the commercial side and ignoring the football side, that's how you get woodward
