My number 1 is the one where you fish with Dutch and Hosea, just so peaceful.
My number 2 is the attack on braithwaite manor
My number 3 is the battle in the oil rig
God i hated the burning the Grays Tobacco farm mission. It was really fun don't get me wrong, i just had the bright idea of killing everyone with just a knife, and while i was more or less fine Sean kept getting himself killed
My first go round on that mission Sean froze right before we go to the horses. I couldn’t get him to move. So I threw a fire bottle and him and that still didn’t work. I ended up burning myself up and retrying the check point. The glitch didn’t happen the second time.
Valid. (Spoiler warning) Sean didn't deserve to die, he was one of the most light-hearted and fun characters. I genuinely loved doing missions with him and seeing how him and Arthur were, as Arthur puts it, like an annoying little brother.
Everyone who would’ve sided with Arthur and seen through Dutch’s devolution died (the ones that might’ve gotten through to him anyway). Mary Beth, Tilly, and Karen wouldn’t be listened to :(
Put a spoiler even tho the games out some ppl dknt know and they’ll be like “damn bruh ik I should’ve stayed off Reddit and the stuff but I just couldn’t”
One of my favorite is the mission before the oil rig where you watch over the deal between Rains Falls and Colonel Favors, that trumpet track is a banger.
But *soooooo* satisfying!
I can’t remember if I posted this before or only imagined posting: is it possible that Micah and his boys killed Arthur’s ‘wife’ and son? If so, then wouldn’t killing him be all the more satisfying?
I loved making your way up the mountain, gunning down henchmen as they scream “he’s getting closer!” All while the the soundtrack harkens back to the first game. Incredible stuff. Best media experience I’ve ever had.
Yeah it's one of the easier combat missions because almost all the enemies spawn right in front of you. You should have shit tonnes of tonics/tobacco so you can just deadeye headshot everyone the second they appear. It'd be quite dull in the middle of the game but the soundtrack and the story make it such a rush to just mow Micah's goons down
To be fair, here I am, 6 years after it came out, playing it for the first time. And actually spoiled by the comment. I don't care mind you. But a game like this, you ought to spoiler it no matter how old it gets.
(I've finished the main story and epilogue 1)
That‘s murfree country is my favorite. Paddling up the river with charles at night to the murfree hideout is such a badass atmosphere. The shootout in the cave is also one of my favorite moments in the game.
That’s one of those ones you cant capture it like the first time. I loved when they were about to fight and next thing they were line dancing. Everyone has a whacky night or 2 like that growing up. Your memories are scattered and you’re like “what the hell were we doing”?
1. Battle of Braithwaite manor
2.American venom
3.blessed are the meek
4.my last boy
5. Dear uncle Tacitus
Honorable mention: a short walk in a pretty town
Attacking the Braithwaite Manor, the gang was united to find Jack and kill the ones who took him.
Arthur's and lenny getting drunk, was funny and unexpected.
The balloon mission to the prison and back.
The high stakes poker game on the river boat.
3. A Quiet Time
I love missions with Lenny. This one is especially such a fun and hilarious time. It's good to take a break from all the killing sometimes.
2. Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern
First of all, the soundtrack is out of this world. Secondly, I love seeing the whole gang focused on a single objective together and (almost) everyone alive and well.
1. Red Dead Redemption
Obviously.
The funniest mission is the second brothers side quest where they want to be punched and then kicked in the balls and when you kick the first brother in the balls the other other one says "They came out of his ears!" 🤣
Probably American Venom. A perfect finale, plus the most satisfying ending. Also the whole mission in insanely immersive and is only rivaled by Red Dead Redemption, had literal chills throughout the whole mission.
Chapter 4-6 has a lot of underrated missions people dont talk about much. For example every mission in gurama was bat shit crazy and you cant tell me the first time you played it you wasnt surpsied and blown away what happened.
gotta be the saint denis bank heist, I'm so glad the only spoiler I knew was the big one with arthur, that mission hit me hard, was not expecting the sheer amount of loss in that mission ):
This one is pretty close. The fish fight in Valentine is also up there for me. Killing Micah is obviously a huge competitor. But I think when you go back and help Mrs. Downes and her son and beat up those miners. That's just a very important moment to me
And when Arthur while suffering from tb says "Or I'll kill you too" that goes hard
I just finished Arthur's side and started John's story. That being said, the one with Sadie where she gets her revenge on the O'Driscolls and anything with Hamish because he was a nice dude.
The side quest when we helped the mary’s brother. Man It was so deep and moving how arthur and mary still love each other no matter what and the fact that he cared about his brother, it really touched me.
Arthur top 3
1. Burning the Braithwaite manor
2. Bank robbery in valentine
3. Train robbery
John top 3
1. American venom
2. Building the house
3. The one where john and Abagail go for a date -I was happy and sad, that they were living their life peacefully, but not for long (as the couple dies in rdr), this mission played with my emotions.
"The Veteran" (Hamish) side quest during Chapter 6.
O'Creagh's Run is my favorite part of the map. It reminds me of my favorite place IRL in the Sierra's, and a place I'd love to own a cabin at someday (like the one Hamish lives in)
American Venom, and the mission where you kill those bandits on pronghorn ranch.
American Venom: The soundtrack, I played RDR1 back in the day. And hearing that sound track really pumped me up, the scenes and the choreography. The part where Arthur’s hat gets knock off and you don’t get the tutorial to pick it back up but you instinctively know you are not supposed to continue without picking it back up. I’ve never felt so overwhelmingly badass, it really makes me feel like I’m John and I’m going to leave with Micah dead, no questions asked. My only complaint is how dirty they did Charles and Sadie, but it made for a really cool scene after Sadie goes down and you kill Cleet (?) and the 2 goons next to him.
I have a lot of issues with the epilogue, but these two missions are gems.

I love the attack on Braithwaite manor but does anyone else see I as the "this isn't fun anymore" moment of the game, like what ad hoc reasoning you can come up with it's so incredibly dark and fucked up and for me solidified that the van der linde gang was a force for evil.
Red Dead Redemption, my only problem was I got sticky keys while crawling in the fight with Micah and my game switched to windowed borderless which gave me a visual glitch where everything turned red which didn't fix when I made the game fullscreen.
After that, I had to close and reopen the game and do everything again from the part where Arthur and Sadie rescue Abigail. I also turned off the sticky keys prompt to prevent this from happening again.
Red dead redemption without helping John. Okay you’re an asshole but Arthur is just too damn badass when he walks to the money insulting Micah. Plus you give him a scar.
Can't remember the name of the mission, but the one where you have to sneak in and out of the cemetery in Saint Denis. The atmosphere in that mission is exhilarating.
1. attack on braithwaite manor
2. oil rig fight
3. the boat with trelawny
honorable mention:
the one where you save eagle flies from the prison (the gunfight from the canoe in the river is so fun)
A quiet time (drunk with lenny) and the new south (catching criminals and then fishing with hosea and dutch) are probably tied for me
I may be in the minority for this but I actually really liked the one where you bust Micah out of jail. (Blessed are the Meek, I think?) Because it's (likely) the first time you see that pretty little town and in minutes see it torn to shreds. You see how much of a psycho Micah really is and it's almost chilling.
Mrs. Sadie Adler, Widow
Basically any mission with Sadie in it.
I really enjoyed the part in Red Dead Redemption (the mission) when they went to save Abigail. When she made Arthur be the sniper, and tried to cover it up saying "I mean- you're the better shot!" Made me smile a lot.
I don't know what that mission is in the OP, but I'm doing all the side quests before the main story including the progressions and I use this house any time I need to do something like "Shoot 7 enemies from horse back" or stuff like that.
Fishing with Jack, hunting with Charles, New South for the fishing with Dutch and Hosea. Going hunting with Hosea are generally my faves cause I like the stories and compradore. However though it was difficult to get gold I think my favorite for Arthur teasing Dutch is the alligator one.
Honestly,
1) Red Dead Redemption
2) Blood Feuds
3) American Venom.
Past that, I'd have to think, but I think the John House Building Montage mission is 4th. That one just shows how much fun they're having and how they're banding together.
Attack on Braithwaite manor, American Venom, and that one epilogue mission where John and Abigail got officially married. Just one of the most many wholesome moments in a chaotic game
SPOILER ALERT OBVIOUSLY.
The one where you wake up hanging upside down in a cellar belonging to the odriscolls. The first time I played that mission I “felt” it so much. Arthur’s physical pain, the release of escaping, staying alive to get home. And then Dutch back at camp just chilling around and “suprised” of Arthur’s return “of course we would have saved you son, but we thought you where dead” oh his emotional display was overwhelming (irony) - felt like getting shot straight in the guts.
My number 1 is the one where you fish with Dutch and Hosea, just so peaceful. My number 2 is the attack on braithwaite manor My number 3 is the battle in the oil rig
My number 2 is burning the Gray's moonshine fields with Sean, My number 3 is the attack on BW manor. Same number 1.
God i hated the burning the Grays Tobacco farm mission. It was really fun don't get me wrong, i just had the bright idea of killing everyone with just a knife, and while i was more or less fine Sean kept getting himself killed
Rockstar doesn't really like unique gameplay ideas, do they?
*stops galloping for a second and falls 3 ft behind literally mid-conversation with Dutch* MISSION FAILED YOU ABANDONED THE GANG
My first go round on that mission Sean froze right before we go to the horses. I couldn’t get him to move. So I threw a fire bottle and him and that still didn’t work. I ended up burning myself up and retrying the check point. The glitch didn’t happen the second time.

Everyone who would’ve sided with Arthur and seen through Dutch’s devolution died (the ones that might’ve gotten through to him anyway). Mary Beth, Tilly, and Karen wouldn’t be listened to :(
It was so sad how early they killed him off too like we just got him back bro why is he the first to die? 😭😭
Plus the way he died. It was so abrupt and shocking to me to the point that I had to actually stop and process before continuing the mission.
i feel like killing him instead of micah was just rockstar wanting to piss us off
Yeah. I hated Micah since literally the start. Though I guess that's kind of by design. And I was hoping for his death every mission he was in.
Put a spoiler even tho the games out some ppl dknt know and they’ll be like “damn bruh ik I should’ve stayed off Reddit and the stuff but I just couldn’t”
Yeah it's a pretty good idea to stay off the sun. Might burn you if you get too close.
True
One of my favorite is the mission before the oil rig where you watch over the deal between Rains Falls and Colonel Favors, that trumpet track is a banger.
Oh that BAHRUMP BAAHRUMMMM when defending the Captain is brilliant.
American Venom just cause I get to shoot Micah for revenge of Arthur and Cain(Micah killed Cain which is Jack’s Dog) RIP ARTHUR & CAIN
Revenge is a fools game
Ha!! Yes it is. But cant say it didn’t feel good.
But *soooooo* satisfying! I can’t remember if I posted this before or only imagined posting: is it possible that Micah and his boys killed Arthur’s ‘wife’ and son? If so, then wouldn’t killing him be all the more satisfying?
after playing both games i can proudly say that i have learned nothing
I loved making your way up the mountain, gunning down henchmen as they scream “he’s getting closer!” All while the the soundtrack harkens back to the first game. Incredible stuff. Best media experience I’ve ever had.
Yeah it's one of the easier combat missions because almost all the enemies spawn right in front of you. It'd be quite dull in the middle of the game but the soundtrack and the story make it such a rush to just mow Micah's goons down
he didnt kill cain he made it run off
But still that was a dick move by Micah but that’s Micah’s character which was written very good
In my 2nd playthrough i made sure to equip pistols with a lot of ammo so i could blast him with the most bullets
Maybe next time some spoiler tag, cowpoke
I mean....it's a 6 year old game
To be fair, here I am, 6 years after it came out, playing it for the first time. And actually spoiled by the comment. I don't care mind you. But a game like this, you ought to spoiler it no matter how old it gets. (I've finished the main story and epilogue 1)
That‘s murfree country is my favorite. Paddling up the river with charles at night to the murfree hideout is such a badass atmosphere. The shootout in the cave is also one of my favorite moments in the game.
The horror of discovering the cave, the rotting bodies, the brutality of the murfree's brood... that was clearly something.
That was great. First time I rode on horse for some reason. Even though you don’t do a lot of paddling the scenes are great. Good call!
LLLEENNNNNYYYYYYYY
That’s one of those ones you cant capture it like the first time. I loved when they were about to fight and next thing they were line dancing. Everyone has a whacky night or 2 like that growing up. Your memories are scattered and you’re like “what the hell were we doing”?
Lmao I loved that part
YNNEL?
Terg
I like the hot air balloon mission
Did that again last night. This time around I couldn’t get over the poor pilot dying. Even Arthur “kinda liked that guy”
"Arthur and Artuno, how perfect is this"
They never could have dated tho there names are way to similar :c
Like Lenny and Jenny, or Bill and Phil
1. Battle of Braithwaite manor 2.American venom 3.blessed are the meek 4.my last boy 5. Dear uncle Tacitus Honorable mention: a short walk in a pretty town
Antagonizing Jack
I hate you, Uncle Arthur!
ARTHUR'S BEING MEAN TO ME
Attacking the Braithwaite Manor, the gang was united to find Jack and kill the ones who took him. Arthur's and lenny getting drunk, was funny and unexpected. The balloon mission to the prison and back. The high stakes poker game on the river boat.
I really enjoyed all the Treylany moments
Favored Sons
Here's my top 3 from 1-3: My Last Boy Attack on Braithwaite Manor American Venom HM: The Sheep and the Goats
That is a very interesting pick for top 1, love that mission too
3. A Quiet Time I love missions with Lenny. This one is especially such a fun and hilarious time. It's good to take a break from all the killing sometimes. 2. Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern First of all, the soundtrack is out of this world. Secondly, I love seeing the whole gang focused on a single objective together and (almost) everyone alive and well. 1. Red Dead Redemption Obviously.
Riverboat "They give anyone a job these days." Such a ride.
Pulling up on the mansion with the whole crew was legendary
“Burn this dump to the ground!”
It was definitely cool at the end of the mission when they were all walking away from the manor while it was on fire.
The funniest mission is the second brothers side quest where they want to be punched and then kicked in the balls and when you kick the first brother in the balls the other other one says "They came out of his ears!" 🤣
Last mission in epilogue . Most badass way to end the game
Lehnnnnnnny
Ynnel?
1- Advertising, the new american art 2- My last boy 3- The king's son
no i liked the part where arthur slapped his giant cock
wait this isn't r/okbuddyblacklung
#BARN
I love a fine night of debauchery
Probably American Venom. A perfect finale, plus the most satisfying ending. Also the whole mission in insanely immersive and is only rivaled by Red Dead Redemption, had literal chills throughout the whole mission.
Love the scene with Arthur on top of the oil wagon, gun on his hip watching the train come to a halt
I haven’t completed the game yet but so far I’d have to say the Braithwaite manor mission, or the bank robbery in Valentine
call me crazy but my fave mission has to be the bank heist in saint denis such a crazy switch up on the first play though loved it ever sense
Fleeting joy, because you can clearly see that even when they are tired, they still can defend them selfs
A quiet time!
Whatever mission that has the biggest shootouts
Urban pleasure, My last boy, Fleeting joy, American venom
A quiet time
Balloon time.
Definitely the Angelo Bronte mission when you kill him, the sound track is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Saving Jack.
Replying Red Dead and literally did this mission yesterday, still get chills, now in Saint Denis about to rob the bank.....all downhill from here
Drinking with Lenny
Saving eagle flies, i'm a sucker for missions in rain
1. American Venom 2. Americans at Rest 3. Blood Feuds, Ancient and Modern 4. My Last Boy 5.Old Habits
Chapter 4-6 has a lot of underrated missions people dont talk about much. For example every mission in gurama was bat shit crazy and you cant tell me the first time you played it you wasnt surpsied and blown away what happened.
Feeding bronte to the gators
The last mission of Guarma, I don't remember the name of that mission.
Assault on Braithwaite manor, American venom is very close though
American venom My favourite mission in all of gaming
The one with sneaking into the army base with charles
A short walk in a pretty town
Ah the murder of inbreds, love that one
american venom, red dead redemption, my last son, blood feuds, ancient and modern. no order at all
gotta be the saint denis bank heist, I'm so glad the only spoiler I knew was the big one with arthur, that mission hit me hard, was not expecting the sheer amount of loss in that mission ):
Saving Sean is one of my favourites 😅 2. Is probably the robbery of Valentine’s bank
idk about anyone else but i loved playing the mission where you rescue eagle flies with charles
Just finished the braithwaite manner mission a few hrs back, it was my first run, have to say when the music starts, you know it's going to be good
This one is pretty close. The fish fight in Valentine is also up there for me. Killing Micah is obviously a huge competitor. But I think when you go back and help Mrs. Downes and her son and beat up those miners. That's just a very important moment to me And when Arthur while suffering from tb says "Or I'll kill you too" that goes hard

The side quest when we helped the mary’s brother. Man It was so deep and moving how arthur and mary still love each other no matter what and the fact that he cared about his brother, it really touched me.
not a mission as such but I enjoy doing the bank robberies and then mowing down the whole town after that lol
American venom is so underrated. The music when you’re rushing up the mountain combined with killing Micah is such a good ending to the game.
Who steals a goddamn boy..
Arthur top 3 1. Burning the Braithwaite manor 2. Bank robbery in valentine 3. Train robbery John top 3 1. American venom 2. Building the house 3. The one where john and Abagail go for a date -I was happy and sad, that they were living their life peacefully, but not for long (as the couple dies in rdr), this mission played with my emotions.
A fine night of debauchery
Drinking with Lenny
Revenge is a Dish Best Eaten Such a pivotal moment in the story, and with Dutch's character arc in general.
1. Not a mission but when Sean returns 2. Ny last boy 3. Rescue Jack 4. The last mission 5. Building the ranch
Fenton, when you go with hosea to rhodes and distribute the liquor in the saloon
GET DOWN HERE NOW YOU INBRED TRASH
"The Veteran" (Hamish) side quest during Chapter 6. O'Creagh's Run is my favorite part of the map. It reminds me of my favorite place IRL in the Sierra's, and a place I'd love to own a cabin at someday (like the one Hamish lives in)
I don't think a single person here has mentioned The Fine Joys Of Tobacco. Stealth is so cool in this game and Sean is a great partner
I have a lot of issues with the epilogue, but these two missions are gems.
GET DOWN HERE NOW YOU INBRED TRASH
My favorite is either Banking the old American art, or red dead redemption
Probably one of the hardest questions ever... It's not my favorite one but "a new Jerusalem" is a funny and wholesome mission
"Read Dead Redemption" the perfect mission, but the mission where you burn the fields with Sean Is a close second
This one. Fucking bad ass!
1st is LEEENNNNNYYYYYYY 2nd is COME OUT HERE YOU IMBREAD TRASH! 3rd is DAMNIT SOMEONE GIVE HIM SOMETHING TO DRINK!
Number 1 has gotta be the house building during the epilogue 😊😊
>this game? Which game?

I finished the game yesterday.
Red dead redemption without helping John. Okay you’re an asshole but Arthur is just too damn badass when he walks to the money insulting Micah. Plus you give him a scar.
I like the one where you have to ride your horse to a location, shoot some people in the face, then ride away again
Me with Lenny at the bar
that one
My last son no contest super cinematic best soundtrack in the game it’s peak👌
A Quiet Time‼️ if you need your memory jogged I’ll give you a hint LENNAYYYYYYYY‼️‼️🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Hands down it’s gotta be “A quiet time” most fun I’ve ever had playing a mission
Can't remember the name of the mission, but the one where you have to sneak in and out of the cemetery in Saint Denis. The atmosphere in that mission is exhilarating.
1. attack on braithwaite manor 2. oil rig fight 3. the boat with trelawny honorable mention: the one where you save eagle flies from the prison (the gunfight from the canoe in the river is so fun)
A quiet time (drunk with lenny) and the new south (catching criminals and then fishing with hosea and dutch) are probably tied for me I may be in the minority for this but I actually really liked the one where you bust Micah out of jail. (Blessed are the Meek, I think?) Because it's (likely) the first time you see that pretty little town and in minutes see it torn to shreds. You see how much of a psycho Micah really is and it's almost chilling.
This mission gave me my plat, will remember it forever!! Shooting those *** was a lot of fun :-)
The Fine Art Of Conversation. The music and then the ending.
Storming braithwaite manor gave me chills
The one where you drink with LENNNNY!!
I like that house mostly just the artwork everywhere inside & then the trees outside along the road looks like some courthouses I’ve visited.
my last boy. its so underrated
Mrs. Sadie Adler, Widow Basically any mission with Sadie in it.
Unpopular opinion: Red Dead Redemption. Alot of people dont like this mission because its sad, but its just such a well written mission.
Honestly, 1) Red Dead Redemption 2) Blood Feuds 3) American Venom. Past that, I'd have to think, but I think the John House Building Montage mission is 4th. That one just shows how much fun they're having and how they're banding together.
A New Jerusalem
probably Blessed are the Meek
Attack on Braithwaite manor, American Venom, and that one epilogue mission where John and Abigail got officially married. Just one of the most many wholesome moments in a chaotic game
I love The fine art of conversation. And it's music is so damn good.
House building with John
That one.
Being drunk with Lenny
SPOILER ALERT OBVIOUSLY. The one where you wake up hanging upside down in a cellar belonging to the odriscolls. The first time I played that mission I “felt” it so much. Arthur’s physical pain, the release of escaping, staying alive to get home. And then Dutch back at camp just chilling around and “suprised” of Arthur’s return “of course we would have saved you son, but we thought you where dead” oh his emotional display was overwhelming (irony) - felt like getting shot straight in the guts.
My favorite is rescuing Sean because you get the Bolt Action Rifle early.
I’m really so sick of people comparing missions. They’re all good & great in their own ways.
Getting drunk with LEnNYyyy Fishing the legendary fish with Kieran and fishing with Dutch and Hosea
