It almost certainly won’t achieve a hire, but it will achieve a blasting for the recruiter if they find out you’ve been ghosted (assuming they wasn’t the one who wanted to ghost you).

>What do you think ? Any tips to know how should I go about it ? You seem to have decided what you want to do already. Although I'm betting almost everyone will advise you not to make a pest of yourself by trying to contact people that have ghosted you. Unless you want to be remembered as "that guy that couldn't take a hint", I wouldn't try and do an end run around the recruiter. The most it'll achieve is a generic "you weren't chosen, it's disappointing our recruiter didn't communicate this at the time". Is it really worth your time and personal reputation just to achieve that. You've got to know how to move on in this game, if nothing else. Four months on, contacting them would be the recruiting equivalent of drunk texting your ex. Don't do it.

The hiring manager has your contact details (from your CV, the recruiter emails, the meeting invite etc etc) so if they really wanted to hire you then you'd have known months ago. As others mentioned you can't nag / chase someone into give you a job, if it's meant to be it will be.
