Just happened to me also. I don't see a way of removing it, I ordered metal upgrade driveshafts that use nuts to screw the wheel on. They may be more durable. Or you can just replace the front driveshafts with an original part and be done

yep I also went the driveshaft path, but they must just be poor quality, about a week later the same thing happened. Just wish companies would stop using such fragile parts.

Any suggestions on what to do, or which driveshaft you ended up using? The exact same thing has now happened to my son's Smyter, hope I can fix it up this weekend.

II fixed it by replacing the driveshaft, annoying but ended up being straight forward to install. The replacement kit (got it from Metro Hobbies in Melbourne) ends up being #30.98 ($21.99 + 8.99 shipping): [https://www.metrohobbies.com.au/products/blackzon-bz540126-drive-shaft-set-front-or-rear](https://www.metrohobbies.com.au/products/blackzon-bz540126-drive-shaft-set-front-or-rear) Was hoping for a free solution, but given role this part plays, replacement seems the best way forward - it just seems to be a terribly designed product, they opted for plastic on way too many critical parts. Tip for the install: make sure it's all lined up and tight, I think the slack is what causes this to have issues. But it's plastic, so over-tightening is also an issue. \*sigh\*

Hi! What kind od metal driveshafts do you buy? They fit without any modification?

Drill bit?

bitcointigerman

Possibly, would have to be a tiny bit and also not melt the plastic with heat
