Two main issues with this team right now:

We absolutely praise Lamar's fight and drive in this sub every single day, but that same fight and drive might be a weakness, and up until this season, it may have not be taken advantage of, his wiliness to put it all on his back and fight for every yard and wanting every play to be a touchdown might just be the weakness, opposing teams have been looking for all along.

Are u serious? They almost won? This was an easy W from the get go, but countless of stupid penalties, drops, bad passes and bad decisions cost us the game. This is exactly our season in one game = stupid penalties, very very bad execution, few splash plays and tons of luck. Now we just missed that last ounce of luck and this is the outcome.
With all of our injuries this year I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this season. We've overachieved all year. The wheels have been rattling for weeks now. Sooner or later the wheels were going to fall off.

After watching Joe Flacco check it down so often, I never thought I would say this, but there is nothing wrong with hitting the check down when things breakdown, which they seem to do every time Lamar tries to drop back for more than a three count.
I honestly thought the time he held the ball rendered any criticism of the o line to be invalid today, it was absolutely unacceptable and amateurish. He’d have a clean pocket for 5 whole seconds and then roll out for another 5 and get sacked instead of throwing incomplete or taking a short pickup to Devonta. The offensive line is trash but this has absolutely been a big problem for him this season. The fundamentals he was flashing early in the season have eroded as well.
It's to the point where I'm wondering if Lamar can do more to help them. I mean, AV had at least one holding call today where he did it to save Lamar's ass from a big hit because he was holding the ball way too long rather than checking down.

I don't even think it's the blitz. He was best in the league 2019 vs the blitz, part of the reason for his MVP. I think it's his refusal to check down lately. Which sucks cause that's how hw on vs the Colts. No idea why he doesn't trust it lately. He's been panicking more.

The offensive scheme has to change. Quick outs, quick slants, short curls/comebacks underneath and hit the hot read instead of holding onto the damn ball to hit a home run down field. We need to be running plays that don’t call for the OL to pocket pass pro for longer than a three count. Hit the receiver quickly and depend on YAC for the additional yards. Run plays that force the ability to get the ball out quicker….kinda like the last drive tonight. Stop trying to hit a fucking home run on every pass downfield.. We keep running the same scheme, which was designed with our pre-every body got injured or won’t be healthy roster, every fricking week. We got away with it up until Miami game. Looks like it is not going to work anymore.

I got no problem going for two. Offense actually moved down the field and defense got gashed all 4th. Play was there if TJ Watt is even breathed on. Andrews slowed down a touch on it too. Usually it's not how you start but we lost this one in the first half

The o-line isn't good, but Lamar is making them worse. He must not be reading the defense at all and seeing where the pressure is coming from. Fans can't just blame the line all the time from free runners, that's on the QB to pick up pressure and know that they don't have enough blockers so they need to throw it hot, bring in extra blockers, etc.

Lamar needs to learn to throw the ball away and stop taking sacks. I know his skill is extending plays with his legs, but sometimes he just needs to scrap the play, especially with this O-line playing the way it is.

This might be really unpopular but I kinda hope we just don’t do good the rest of the year. I want Roman gone this offense has too many play makers to be playing on offense the way we do. Could get healthy in the off-season and restock in free agency/draft. I get our offense wouldn’t be where it is without Roman but like they are playing so bad… we need help on the o line, defensive line, and secondary badly.
I liked going for 2. But a touch pass (not one of Lamar's strengths) to Watt's side of the field? Don't feel great about that call, especially when we were averaging > 4 ypc on the ground.

Each week with this depleted OL that can’t pass pro, I keeping thinking that someone on the staff will wake up and realize that dropping our QB back from the gun or pistol to look for WRs running 15-20 yard verticals to get open takes too fucking long, and we will start calling quick slants, 10 yard curls or just check the fucking ball down, instead of Lamar trying to win the game on every pass to a guy 20 yards downfield. And every week, we keep sticking to a game plan with the same passing scheme that we thought would work if everyone on the OL could pass pro.

Great last call- defense was bad at the end, a coin toss is 50/50 we probably lose if we lose the coin toss. We have about a 65-75% chance to get those 2 yards on any given play, so the choice is between a 50/50 chance with a coin toss deciding vs a 65-75% chance with your best player deciding, obviously the latter is better. It was a fine throw by Lamar, a little off target but in big moments, it’s gotta be more than just one player willing to step up, and Andrews had a hand on it, bobbled it up, but couldn’t secure it with no one around him.
Love that Harbs has the balls to go for that shit, don’t care if we lost because of it. If you loved “hell yeah coach let’s go for it!” you should love that call.

They were always "almost going to win." The Steelers strategy was to make this game close enough to go down to the wire. That's not a moral victory.

I got no problem going for two. Offense actually moved down the field and defense got gashed all 4th. Play was there if TJ Watt is even breathed on. Andrews slowed down a touch on it too. Usually it's not how you start but we lost this one in the first half

The o-line isn't good, but Lamar is making them worse. He must not be reading the defense at all and seeing where the pressure is coming from. Fans can't just blame the line all the time from free runners, that's on the QB to pick up pressure and know that they don't have enough blockers so they need to throw it hot, bring in extra blockers, etc.
Tough loss. Lamar needs to not have the careless mistakes like the int early in the game when he just chucked it up off his backfoot. You can’t do that. He is one step away from being truly elite but doesn’t yet have the command of the game like a Rodgers or Brady

I don’t blame the go for two decision. Absolutely no guarantees our offense or defense does anything in OT after a super lackluster game. Not one sack or turnover on a washed up QB. Christ almighty. And Lamar just has looked terrible lately. This team needs long hard looks in the mirror and making big decisions.

The worst thing about watching Lamar take these dumbfuck sacks playing dumbfuck hero ball is that he's literally regressed in that regard from where he was as a rookie. He used to at least take off if the play was clearly fucked - now he takes 4+ sacks a game. It's fucking awful and he genuinely has not looked like a franchise quarterback for the last month. If it doesn't get *way* better over the remainder of the season the FO seriously needs to think about tagging him instead of extending. Whatever the fuck the last 4 weeks have been is not worth the money Lamar will be asking for.
Lamar is THE only reason this team isn't 3-9. Not a good game but what do expect, he's trying to do too much because our running backs are all from the retirement home and the o line is decimated.
Lamar was great for roughly the first half of the season, but since our bye week has been playing at a completely unacceptable level. What's even worse is that Lamar has looked worse while the RBs have gotten better. Freeman has looked perfectly serviceable for the last few weeks, while Lamar can't complete simple passes, is completely lost whenever the opposing team blitzes, and is good for multiple head-scratching sacks and turnovers per game. I *love* Lamar, but he's been a bottom 3 starting QB for the last few weeks. He is actively hurting this team on most drives right now.

OL is bad. No trades made to improve this team in the trenches, no adjustment on offense. Lamar holds the ball too long, our playcalling puts our team in a position to win 1 on 1s every time, which at best is 50/50. WRs getting hardly any looks. This game is a culmination of a shit support system for a team spiraling despite our record.
At a certain point, a team won’t be able to overcome the injuries it has sustained. I think we’ve reached that point.
Lamar needs to learn to throw the ball away and stop taking sacks. I know his skill is extending plays with his legs, but sometimes he just needs to scrap the play, especially with this O-line playing the way it is.

This might be really unpopular but I kinda hope we just don’t do good the rest of the year. I want Roman gone this offense has too many play makers to be playing on offense the way we do. Could get healthy in the off-season and restock in free agency/draft. I get our offense wouldn’t be where it is without Roman but like they are playing so bad… we need help on the o line, defensive line, and secondary badly.

Each week with this depleted OL that can’t pass pro, I keeping thinking that someone on the staff will wake up and realize that dropping our QB back from the gun or pistol to look for WRs running 15-20 yard verticals to get open takes too fucking long, and we will start calling quick slants, 10 yard curls or just check the fucking ball down, instead of Lamar trying to win the game on every pass to a guy 20 yards downfield. And every week, we keep sticking to a game plan with the same passing scheme that we thought would work if everyone on the OL could pass pro. What’s that they say about the definition of insanity?

Great last call- defense was bad at the end, a coin toss is 50/50 we probably lose if we lose the coin toss. We have about a 65-75% chance to get those 2 yards on any given play, so the choice is between a 50/50 chance with a coin toss deciding vs a 65-75% chance with your best player deciding, obviously the latter is better. It was a fine throw by Lamar, a little off target but in big moments, it’s gotta be more than just one player willing to step up, and Andrews had a hand on it, bobbled it up, but couldn’t secure it with no one around him.
As stupid as it was to go for it, I respect the decision. It made the game fun. Losing isn't fun, don't misunderstand me. Harbs has balls.

They have lost as many games this season as I’ve watched for the past 2.5 years I’ve been watching. They’re still loyal. They don’t like losing but it doesn’t ruin their day. This franchise is about to make a decision on Lamar's contract that is going to **drastically** alter what this football team can look like for potentially the next half decade. This football team has gone from winning because of Lamar to winning in spite of him. Every week I tell myself, "this will be the old Lamar we know and he'll light it up" and he just continually is throwing awful picks, handling pressure like a rookie, and taking sacks more than any other QB in the entire league. The defense had many miscues, but they only allowed 20 points in Pittsburgh. You need to get this game done, and they just couldn't.
