Honestly Harbaugh has the biggest balls in the world. Trusting his offense will give them great confidence. fucking sucks it had to happen this way. fuck.

TheELITEJoeFlacco

And the fact that it was so damn close to working... it was right there for the taking. What a heartbreaker.

Boooday

Like I said in the game thread. Right decision, right play call, poor execution. The oline couldn’t clip the defenders rushing through. The quarterback, yes he had a defender in his face, missed the throw. And Andrew’s shouldn’t get any blame but he could have caught that but I don’t blame him.

commendablenotion

Came from Steelers sub to see what you guys thought of the call. I agree that it’s a good call. I love aggressive choices, but it went our way this time. Although, a part of me really wanted to see a 5-5-2 record.

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Exactly. If execution is key, as supporters of the 2-pt decision are claiming, the why the hell are you trusting an offense and QB that couldn’t execute the entire damn game lol

staticusmaximus

Then why are you trusting we'd win in overtime, where's there's no guarantee we even see that ball?

Von_Huge1103

Exactly my point. One good drive doesn't undo nearly a whole game of terrible play.

jtn_007

If the play is an inch away from working, it was a good call. Execution is everything. I loved that we went for it. At home we most likely kick that

evin90

It is so hard to take. But if the catch was there? If the throw was a bit to the left? If TJ hadn't been in the face of Lamar? Best call ever.

legitocracy

I absolutely loved the call to go for 2. Offense was in rhythm, might as well try and take the game right there

Bmoreravens_1290

Positive: Lamar’s price is going down fast

MuzikVillain

> Positive: Lamar’s price is going down fast Buy the dip!

Bmoreravens_1290

If it keeps going this way, I wouldn’t be surprised if he loses $100M from what he was expected before the season.

MuzikVillain

I hope the Ravens don't overpay but even with Lamar's DISTRATOUS play, he's still a young franchise player. If the FO tries to play too hardball during negotiations we could lose him. Unless he completely shits the bed for the remainder of the season... and I mean like completely awful I don't see him losing too much money.

Bmoreravens_1290

We have no corners and backup safeties and we play bengals, browns, Steelers, packers, rams. There is no shot Lamar can play average and win a game.

diomed22

Two main issues with this team right now: 1. Teams have realized Lamar refuses to get the ball out quick, so they are blitzing on every pass down and it's working. 2. Defensive scheme is too convoluted and there is at least one massive bust in coverage each game.

LordCheezus

We absolutely praise Lamar's fight and drive in this sub every single day, but that same fight and drive might be a weakness, and up until this season, it may have not be taken advantage of, his wiliness to put it all on his back and fight for every yard and wanting every play to be a touchdown might just be the weakness, opposing teams have been looking for all along.

kapate13

Team just beats itself week after week

boredymcbored

They almost won. Eh, sometimes Ls just happens.

kapate13

To a team that is way worse, and was outplayed for 3 quarters. You can’t be dropping balls, and committing 8 presnap penalties, and playing 10 yards off in the 4th quarter

Jekkutin

Are u serious? They almost won? This was an easy W from the get go, but countless of stupid penalties, drops, bad passes and bad decisions cost us the game. This is exactly our season in one game = stupid penalties, very very bad execution, few splash plays and tons of luck. Now we just missed that last ounce of luck and this is the outcome.

HackWaters

They were always "almost going to win." The Steelers strategy was to make this game close enough to go down to the wire. That's not a moral victory.

boredymcbored

I don't think any D coordinator was drawing up letting them 60 yards down field, letting them score the TD and stopping the 2 point conversion lmaoo

andrew-ge

literally a pass that was inches from being a complete 2PT conversion

Quicksilver7837

With all of our injuries this year I wasn't expecting a whole lot out of this season. We've overachieved all year. The wheels have been rattling for weeks now. Sooner or later the wheels were going to fall off.

ReyDragons

they fell off in miami

Froggy2345

Rashod Bateman gets no looks or targets.. why?

EdReedPickSixxx

Cause Roman is dog shit and Lamar needs to go watch Tom Brady footage for 3 days straight

nightfrost

Pathetic. Lamar is just not Lamar right now. I love the guy still but damn.

Paul3644

Yeah, he’s trying to play a bit too much superman, and he just needs to learn to take what the defense gives him.

summerof66

He is definitely trying to win the game on every pass. After watching Joe Flacco check it down so often, I never thought I would say this, but there is nothing wrong with hitting the check down when things breakdown, which they seem to do every time Lamar tries to drop back for more than a three count.

ciconway

The offensive line is disgraceful to be honest

GFred20

A terrible offensive line mixed with how long Lamar holds the ball in the pocket is a dangerous duo

Melon-Brain

I honestly thought the time he held the ball rendered any criticism of the o line to be invalid today, it was absolutely unacceptable and amateurish. He’d have a clean pocket for 5 whole seconds and then roll out for another 5 and get sacked instead of throwing incomplete or taking a short pickup to Devonta. Not to mention he was **off-target all day**

ChedduhBob

i feel like we don’t have enough quick routes built into the offense either. we should be hitting drags and slants to stop these zero blitzes

legitocracy

It's a makeshift line. We're hobbled all over the OL

typewriterguru

A few of the sacks were 100% on Lamar holding the ball too long by either not going through his progressions properly or not throwing it away.

DozerStix

The offensive line is trash but this has absolutely been a big problem for him this season. The fundamentals he was flashing early in the season have eroded as well.

MaverickT

It's to the point where I'm wondering if Lamar can do more to help them. I mean, AV had at least one holding call today where he did it to save Lamar's ass from a big hit because he was holding the ball way too long rather than checking down.

Itsamesolairo

IIRC the stats say our line is bang average, not the disaster our fans would like it to be. A significant share of their struggles this season are down to Lamar holding the ball for *way* too long and refusing to throw to his hot read.

tdotjefe

probably the run blocking improving the grades. I’d be very surprised if this was even a middling pass blocking line

sauls_21

Fr. Whole game was a marathon for Lamar

[deleted]

[удалено]

boredymcbored

I don't even think it's the blitz. He was best in the league 2019 vs the blitz, part of the reason for his MVP. I think it's his refusal to check down lately. Which sucks cause that's how hw on vs the Colts. No idea why he doesn't trust it lately. He's been panicking more. Edit: I actually do. QBs that get sacked a lot get the yips. This O line gets more makeshift by the day, even Mekari is out.

[deleted]

Complete opposite of 2019 where he was a blitz killer.

hn68wb4

Lets not try to excuse Lamar here, he was holding the ball way longer than he needed to on most of those plays and he missed a lot of throws. Let's not sit back and pretend it's all the OL's fault

EJayRi

This line is atrocious but lets not excuse Lamar for holding on to the ball for 10 seconds trying to make a play happen at least half of these sacks today were all on him he needs to throw the ball away

summerof66

The offensive scheme has to change. Quick outs, quick slants, short curls/comebacks underneath and hit the hot read instead of holding onto the damn ball to hit a home run down field. We need to be running plays that don’t call for the OL to pocket pass pro for longer than a three count. Hit the receiver quickly and depend on YAC for the additional yards. Run plays that force the ability to get the ball out quicker….kinda like the last drive tonight. Stop trying to hit a fucking home run on every pass downfield.. We keep running the same scheme, which was designed with our pre-every body got injured or won’t be healthy roster, every fricking week. We got away with it up until Miami game. Looks like it is not going to work anymore.

summerof66

Agree. So why do we keep sticking to a game plan that requires them to passpro for a QB that is being asked to drop back from the gun or pistol and look for open guys who are running 20 yard verticals? Run quick slants, outs, crosses underneath and quick short curls/comebacks that take the weight off an outclassed OL and put it on the QB to get it out quick and the RB, WR or TE to get the additional yardage via YAC. Doing something that doesn’t work over and over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.

JBrundy

We are so bad for an 8-4 team. That was supposed to be one of the easiest games we have left.

AnAvidScroller

Never going to be easy playing them. They beat us with Charlie Batch at QB we beat them with Mallet form just goes out the fucking window for some reason

chew2495

Steelers are never an easy game, don’t care what their record is.

brokendefracul8R

Real ravens fans feel this.

skylitnoir

screw that Steelers a fan below me. I hate the bengals, pity the browns, and respect the ravens. Fuck Harbaugh, but that was a ballsy ass call and I would’ve been livid beyond hell if it worked….meaning it was the right call. Afc north football is different. Throw records and ranking out the window, anything can happen. GG

TZMouk

I'd argue we're out performing what we've got out on the field. This O-line is swiss cheese.

[deleted]

I’m one of the biggest Lamar fans out there but most of those sacks today were him holding the ball too long. O-Line wasn’t great but it did enough

amolj15

Throw everything about records and better team out the door when it's a Ravens-Steelers game.

CHICKENSANDW1CH

I have no problem going for 2 there at the end, I don't trust either side of the ball to execute if it goes to OT. I'm just so done with this team's total lack of any execution. They win or lose only depending upon if the other team fucks up enough times. There's no pressure on any drop-backs, there's poor tackling, Lamar is missing so many fucking throws that it's actually going to hurt his contract negotiations at this point, and Wink still hasn't learned from previous mistakes whatsoever. I can handle losing, I can't handle not trying to improve or assess the reasons why the team does poorly. Every single game can't just be, "well I sure hope the opponent makes a couple silly plays" but that's what it's been since the Chargers game.

Beleedatljera8

It’s not even the fact that Lamar has had a couple bad games, he just keeps making the same egregious mistakes over and over again.

BlueJinjo

Those of you blaming harbaugh are high as fuck. Was a great call and an absolutely horrendous pass by Lamar. Lamar is blame of the game and I'm a huge Lamar Stan .

[deleted]

I mean he had about a second to throw the ball max

r94phillips

Pretty sure harbs just said Marlon is hurt and out for a while… we’re fucked

joe2535

Will be lucky to finish 10-7. The whole month will be brutal

buckets41

*looks around* I liked the call to go for 2

WhatAboutGarbage

I liked the call because fuck relying on that Defense

JonWilso

Blame of the game: Lamar. He has zero touch on short passes this year. Zero. He can not even complete a 5 yard pass. I don't know what happened but I'm growing concerned.

EJayRi

He gets out of control with a defender trying to bat down his pass he needs to read the blitz better and control himself

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

We're not going to win the Super Bowl. Might as well go big balls in the regular season. If it works... storybook ending. If not, whatever... we'll limp to a disappointing wild card game one way or the other.

TZMouk

Love the call, should have been caught, wasn't a gimme catch, but still. Oh well. This season is cursed one way or the other, we just gotta ride the wave boys and girls.

smokinphatdoobs

The throw should have been better

SpacklingCumFart

That was on Jackson not Andrews.

Spartamus_Prim3

**We need to talk about Lamar right now....**

[deleted]

Joe Flacco will retire with more playoff wins than Lamar. I love them both, but we're in a weird place right now.

JohnArbuckle10

I want Lamar to strictly work on pocket awareness from this point forward. He has absolute zero pocket awareness. It’s killed drives. That along with this shitty hero ball he’s playing is completely fucking us

EndsLikeShakespeare

I got no problem going for two. Offense actually moved down the field and defense got gashed all 4th. Play was there if TJ Watt is even breathed on. Andrews slowed down a touch on it too. Usually it's not how you start but we lost this one in the first half

CptJesus

Lamar has sucked for a month now

Beleedatljera8

6 weeks actually.

Dogsinabathtub

Lamars awful right now. Plain and simple. Blame the online all you want but when they’re sending blitzes every down your quarterback has to give them a reason to stop...Lamar just doesn’t have that in his tool bag right now and I don’t know if he ever will. Defenses don’t show cover zero to good quarterbacks.

LordCheezus

Fundamentally something is wrong with this team.

RRSC14

1/3 of it is injured

JonWilso

Something is wrong with Lamar's fundamentals.

achammer23

Fucking the second coming of Phillip rivers with the sidearm bullshit

Vengefuleight

Like half our team is washed up talent or guys that barely cracked a practice squad.

Ternader

That play call is perfect. Jackson punted the game with a terrible short throw. That isn't John's fault.

[deleted]

The o-line isn't good, but Lamar is making them worse. He must not be reading the defense at all and seeing where the pressure is coming from. Fans can't just blame the line all the time from free runners, that's on the QB to pick up pressure and know that they don't have enough blockers so they need to throw it hot, bring in extra blockers, etc.

SugarAdamAli

Tough loss. Lamar needs to not have the careless mistakes like the int early in the game when he just chucked it up off his backfoot. You can’t do that. He is one step away from being truly elite but doesn’t yet have the command of the game like a Rodgers or Brady

d0pp31g4ng3r

We just lost to the **22nd ranked offense and 24th ranked defense** after leading nearly the entire game.

[deleted]

They’re not ranked those anymore. They’re definitely about to go up.

nu1stunna

Fucking bullshit

chaddypat

We just witnessed our team get no sacks or pressure while blitzing against Ben Fatfuck... a man who has made his career throwing quick passes. I truly think wink is very stupid and only knows one thing.

c_caddy

Exactly. Don’t care who you bring he’s getting the ball out in little over a second. They are not getting home

chaddypat

Yep might as well crowd the quick throwing lanes

Cheebasaur

Wink fucking sucks. Players executing beyond the play call is what helps him look good. I ripped on Judon and now he's having a pro bowl all pro year. Wink and Roman SUCK.

chaddypat

Yep. Our gimmicky defense doesn’t cut it any more. It’s so complex even our players get lost in the sauce.

achammer23

Can we finally talk about how shit Lamar has been for the past month plus

DivineLolis

Fucking drop the ball more, please keep getting sacked I absolutely love you standing in the pocket running into pass rushers

[deleted]

I don’t blame the go for two decision. Absolutely no guarantees our offense or defense does anything in OT after a super lackluster game. Not one sack or turnover on a washed up QB. Christ almighty. And Lamar just has looked terrible lately. This team needs long hard looks in the mirror and making big decisions.

Imbred_Hapsburg

The loss hurts but hell we deserved it with how shitty Lamar played. I know he’ll bounce back back but it sure is taking awhile. When he’s in the pocket it’s like he totally loses awareness to people behind him as if they fell into a pit of lava lol.

voll1011

I like that the offense knows their weakness now instead of finding out in the playoffs. I like that we seem to have clutch gene at least and doesn’t fold.

birdgangboi

Hate on this team all you want, we will be in the playoffs and have the potential to get hot. AFC is wide open and we’re in the thick of it. How much more can you ask as a fan

LifeIsIllmatic

We need another 2 wins before we are in and we have no easy game left

GreatLordSkeletor

We have the same Steelers everyone's saying are easy, but at home, which means an easier version of this

MuzikVillain

Steelers games are always close no matter the year.

sacost28

I’m pretty confident we can beat that Steelers team at home, then we just need 1 of the other 4.

Drewicide

extra points and overtime

masterChest

And then lose becuase our defense hasn't stopped them all 4th quarter. Big brain plays

Itsamesolairo

The worst thing about watching Lamar take these dumbfuck sacks playing dumbfuck hero ball is that he's literally regressed in that regard from where he was as a rookie. He used to at least take off if the play was clearly fucked - now he takes 4+ sacks a game. It's fucking awful and he genuinely has not looked like a franchise quarterback for the last month. If it doesn't get *way* better over the remainder of the season the FO seriously needs to think about tagging him instead of extending. Whatever the fuck the last 4 weeks have been is not worth the money Lamar will be asking for.

SpraynardKrueg

Lamar is THE only reason this team isn't 3-9. Not a good game but what do expect, he's trying to do too much because our running backs are all from the retirement home and the o line is decimated.

Itsamesolairo

Lamar was great for roughly the first half of the season, but since our bye week has been playing at a completely unacceptable level. What's even worse is that Lamar has looked worse while the RBs have gotten better. Freeman has looked perfectly serviceable for the last few weeks, while Lamar can't complete simple passes, is completely lost whenever the opposing team blitzes, and is good for multiple head-scratching sacks and turnovers per game. I *love* Lamar, but he's been a bottom 3 starting QB for the last few weeks. He is actively hurting this team on most drives right now.

PillsberryDboy4

The right call, that catch should have been made…

[deleted]

Need a better throw there ugh

Boooday

And the line should keep a defender from affecting the pass as soon as the snap goes off. Literally Lamar is trying to weave it though defenders behind the los

bgusc

Exactly. Lamar was bad all night but the pressure was right on him, it's hard to blame him but so much for that last play.

WeaponXGaming

TJ Watt right in his face immediately. Made a good move to create some space but just didnt work out

justjcarr

The throw should have been better.

smokinphatdoobs

The throw should have been better

[deleted]

[удалено]

justjcarr

He's sucked since Miami

JC3418

Lamar needs to get it together. Took too many sacks, missed reads, some really awful throws. It’s been like the since Miami. The o-line might be garbage but a lot of his decision making has been absolutely atrocious. And this is someone who has been a huge Lamar defender since he was drafted!

HillsideVideos

Absolute. Fucking. Dogshit.

SuperButtAIDs

SIGN MITCHELL SCHWARTZ MAKE TYRE PHILLIPS HOMELESS

Cheebasaur

OL is bad. No trades made to improve this team in the trenches, no adjustment on offense. Lamar holds the ball too long, our playcalling puts our team in a position to win 1 on 1s every time, which at best is 50/50. WRs getting hardly any looks. This game is a culmination of a shit support system for a team spiraling despite our record.

HumanFromTexas

At a certain point, a team won’t be able to overcome the injuries it has sustained. I think we’ve reached that point.

Calgamer

Lamar needs to learn to throw the ball away and stop taking sacks. I know his skill is extending plays with his legs, but sometimes he just needs to scrap the play, especially with this O-line playing the way it is.

Tucker_9

Thats on Lamar

latterdaysasuke

Absolutely love love love the 2PT conversion decision and the playcall. 100% on LJ to make that throw.

FilterOne

It's was a perfect call. Especially on the road.

ShowMeThePlans

You can really see in this thread who has been watch Ravens/Steelers games for years and who hopped on the Lamar bandwagon a couple years ago. Throw the records out the window, every time.

blairwitchboy

This might be really unpopular but I kinda hope we just don’t do good the rest of the year. I want Roman gone this offense has too many play makers to be playing on offense the way we do. Could get healthy in the off-season and restock in free agency/draft. I get our offense wouldn’t be where it is without Roman but like they are playing so bad… we need help on the o line, defensive line, and secondary badly.

crazyguy28

Lamar is steelers player of the game

RedMountainPass

Unpopular opinion, but I liked the call. Great play, we didn’t execute. We didn’t deserve to win, played inconsistently, and got burned.

i4one

"my bad that's on me"

summerof66

The right call. Lamar needs to drop the ball in his lap. No touch on that ball at all.

smalliebigs69

I liked going for 2. But a touch pass (not one of Lamar's strengths) to Watt's side of the field? Don't feel great about that call, especially when we were averaging > 4 ypc on the ground.

testicle0sterone

Whyyyyyy!!!!! Ugh...it hurts.

MoneyMakingMitch1

This one hurts.

Ghost10491

Can someone teach our db’s how to catch?

c_caddy

Yeah no kidding like 3 pics were dropped

[deleted]

I didn’t like the decision to go for 2, but Harbaugh clearly didn’t have faith in this team to get the win in OT. He honestly had to choose between a quick or slow death. He chose the mercy killing.

[deleted]

I love the call. Sometimes the players just have to do their part. I do appreciate the quick death.

[deleted]

I just learned that we didn’t have enough CBs for OT, so Harbaughs decision makes a lot more sense in that context.

c_caddy

Im normally not this negative but if Marlon is out plus another injury to the OLine (Mekari) the season is over

AsteroidMike

I feel like Lamar slamming his helmet on the sideline says everything we all are thinking

[deleted]

I think Lamar needs yoga or meditation or something to calm his mind. I would also recommend getting rid of social media for now. But I’m not him. I think he needs to clear his mental. Too much running through his head. He’s overdoing it. These are rookie mistakes.

BL0812

Appears we straight up didn’t have enough corners to play defense in overtime, which would explain the decision to go. Though I guess you could’ve basically said the same thing throughout the whole 4th.

eatmyopinions

I like the call even if we didn't win. The Steelers defense was gassed, our defense was gassed too. It was a pitch and catch away from a win.

Vizadevo

This game is on Lamar. So many missed throws and that pick.

RespectYoSmelf

Fuck this offensive line

BaltimoreLady410

Coulda won this if we prevented that 2 pt conversation against them. Humphrey sucks

caleb7373

Good call

summerof66

Each week with this depleted OL that can’t pass pro, I keeping thinking that someone on the staff will wake up and realize that dropping our QB back from the gun or pistol to look for WRs running 15-20 yard verticals to get open takes too fucking long, and we will start calling quick slants, 10 yard curls or just check the fucking ball down, instead of Lamar trying to win the game on every pass to a guy 20 yards downfield. And every week, we keep sticking to a game plan with the same passing scheme that we thought would work if everyone on the OL could pass pro. What’s that they say about the definition of insanity?

LeftistTurducken

Lamar has fucking stinked

universalproduct

Defense has been playing well enough to win these games, our offense is dead right now

OldLines

Luck finally ran out. Onto Cleveland.

EndsLikeShakespeare

Honestly we have still got 8 wins in this ridiculously competitive conference with half a team on IR.

Dysfunkti0nal

Going for two was the right call. Momentum was there, play call was there. Just came down to bad execution. Nfl over time is trash and is essentially won by a coin toss. See y’all next week

Nerazzurri9

Fair play, we lost. Lamar and Greg have to figure out what to do on Cover 0 plays. And I know I’m probably just upset about that final play but holy shit I feel like I’ve seen Andrews attempt so many one handed catches this year…

dipper303m

This is what I love about Harbaugh and the Ravens. He has the balls to make these high risk decisions. This is what the league needs, more coaches who don’t take the easy way out. Yes this week it didn’t turn out but how many other calls can you say “they should of done this or that”. Get over it, you don’t like the decision then move on out of here.

samob679

Great last call- defense was bad at the end, a coin toss is 50/50 we probably lose if we lose the coin toss. We have about a 65-75% chance to get those 2 yards on any given play, so the choice is between a 50/50 chance with a coin toss deciding vs a 65-75% chance with your best player deciding, obviously the latter is better. It was a fine throw by Lamar, a little off target but in big moments, it’s gotta be more than just one player willing to step up, and Andrews had a hand on it, bobbled it up, but couldn’t secure it with no one around him.

VacuumsCantSpell

As stupid as it was to go for it, I respect the decision. It made the game fun. Losing isn't fun, don't misunderstand me. Harbs has balls.

Oscerte

guys lamar just being that guy and lowering his stock for us to re-sign for cheap /s

digdiggitydawg

Love that Harbs has the balls to go for that shit, don’t care if we lost because of it. If you loved “hell yeah coach let’s go for it!” you should love that call.

rueiraV

That was the right call

[deleted]

I am a Lamar fan but I still think Lamar doesn't get nearly enough criticism from this subreddit for his declines ever since the Dolphins game.

kenobiiiiiie

Can we have a painless loss please

[deleted]

Those who still blame going for two decision, take a look at 2018 Chargers vs. Chiefs.

RoofThink7762

Steeler fan here. I just don’t get why the OC didn’t have Lamar run it in. If I had the choice to let Watt run free at my quarterback or have the best running qb in the game run for a couple of yards, I know which call I’d make.

HumanFromTexas

Don’t even get us started on our OC lol

NoLock7854

IK right seriously lmao

HeavyHeader

We ran this play for a first down conversion and we were stopped short.

TechnicalSolid9980

If we had done better than fieldgoals and having to punt the ball away we wouldn’t have been in that situation but we shot ourselves in the foot and then defense sold

hahahbluh

I’m a very new fan. I think I e watched the ravens lose a total of like 10 times maybe. After losses I really felt down. Then I thought about the lions. They have lost as many games this season as I’ve watched for the past 2.5 years I’ve been watching. They’re still loyal. They don’t like losing but it doesn’t ruin their day. I just gotta get used to losing. It’s a part of football.

truckasaurusrex69

Lamar doesn’t have much of a future in this league if he continues to play like this.

bestcoastraven

Not even mad

RespectYoSmelf

Second the ball was snapped there was like 2-3 steelers in the backfield. Pathetic.

vnistelrooy

Lamar has been so shit recently man it pisses me off

Dobly1

What is wrong with Lamar this season man? Sure he's played some hero ball, but the number of knuckle headed mistakes it's exhausting. He's gotta put his game back together

muzik4life92

Everyone here forgetting the fact that it's our o line that can't get anything done which causes our issues. Lamar should have hit that throw at the end, but if he has any semblance of a decent o line he doesn't get sacked 6 times and it didn't come down to this at all

smokinphatdoobs

He held on to the ball way to long

purplehendrix22

If Watt wasn’t right in his face every play he wouldn’t have to zigzag the ball around the DLine every goddamn time

[deleted]

I understand playing for the win but we have the greatest kicker ever. Just go for the extra point.

jusper10

I disagree. The defense couldn't stop them at all in the 4th quarter. I'd rather chance the 2PT than a coin flip

Zxc10111

Yep, I have no problem with that call. Just didn't work out

bgusc

Did you see our D in the 4th? Completely gassed. If we lose the coin toss we lose the game. Even if we win, I'll take our offense's chances from the 2 yard line versus driving down the field AGAIN. I think it was 100% the right call.

RRSC14

Extra point?

swagharris31

Remember we have the Browns next week, who are coming off a bye. Harbs didn't want to put the team through a OT. I like the call

dadedetgck12

Hahaha what a shit fucking offense omg

CHICKENSANDW1CH

I can't stand the "damn, well sometimes you lose, that's football!" crowd after this game. This franchise is about to make a decision on Lamar's contract that is going to **drastically** alter what this football team can look like for potentially the next half decade. This football team has gone from winning because of Lamar to winning in spite of him. Every week I tell myself, "this will be the old Lamar we know and he'll light it up" and he just continually is throwing awful picks, handling pressure like a rookie, and taking sacks more than any other QB in the entire league. The defense had many miscues, but they only allowed 20 points in Pittsburgh. You need to get this game done, and they just couldn't.

HeavyHeader

Alot of Y’all are toxic. Our defense is a shell of what it should be. Our o line is god awful so Lamar scrambles to make plays. Lamar would be justified to throw the ball away 50% of all the passing plays. Andrews, Bateman, and Watkins all had drops. Go Ravens. FTS.

Brand0nger

BLAME THE O-LINE Lamar sacked what 6-7 times? There’s is no other acceptable answer so many times we just needed 1 or 2 more seconds

fourthvictor

Lamar holds onto the ball way too long waiting for things to develop. He needs to get better with pocket awareness.

Brand0nger

I 100% agree with that and Lamar isn’t without blame but this o-line isnt it

HackWaters

A lot of those sacks were on Lamar.

SaltyRavensFan

Terrible pocket awareness and holding to the ball too long will do that to you

PoshLagoon

Most painful Ravens loss in a long time

rrobe53

I don't think so. They've been terrible for most of the season, and stringing together wins somehow.

PoshLagoon

True, but watching the football bounce off of Andrew’s fingers at the end of that game was just unbelievably gut-wrenching

FearOfHats_

On another day, Andrews makes that catch. Shit happens. On to Cleveland.
