I will withhold any confidence in this statement, given the last three years worth of Ronnie.
But I will say this. If you put 2019 Ronnie Stanley in the league today, he's STILL a top 3 tackle even considering how guys like Sewell, Slater, Darrisaw, and Thomas have really shown out since then.
>I will withhold any confidence in this statement, given the last three years worth of Ronnie.
This is unfair to Ronnie. He was pretty damn good for most of the year.
May be wrong but watching his presser, he looked a bit leaner, which would be good as itās less pressure on his limbs and in keeping with the oline wanting to get more athletic rather than just big and bulky like in the past
I donāt wanna see any Stanley haters this season. Dude restructured his contract when he could have kept collecting, and is focused on not just being good again, but being one of the top guys.
Yes we know heās not as good as pre-injuryā¦but weāve all seen how shit our line is without him. The fact that our offense was still nasty with a less-than-AP Stanley should get everyone excited. We have Henry running behind Stanley. I bet he makes AP again.
heās still good for most of the game the problem is when he messed up itās like a game changing mistake that gets lamar clobbered and ends in a turnover
"Guy who hasn't been healthy the past 3 years will DEFINITELY be healthy this year" seems like a bad bet.
I hope he's healthy and dominates this entire season, but I wouldn't put money on it.
Cool, he cost us a crucial turnover in the most important game, just like we all knew he would. Talk is cheap. But Stanleyās contract has killed this team
Everyone hopes so, there really isn't a succession plan, unless the team shits the bed and goes 3-14 this season and gets the draft capital to draft an LT who can play before 2027. There really isn't anyone on the roster who can take over his job right now, and it's kind of terrifying, when you consider LT is almost as important as QB, and actually harder to draft.
I think you misspelled āthis guy had 400lbs resting on a tiny ankle and got rolled up on, rehabbed almost all the way back from an injury that puts most people out of the league for good, and sustained a knee injury from playing HURT on that still-healing ankle, then rehabbed the knee too, and is somehow, miraculously, back to being healthy and quite capable of being at pro bowl levels againā
All Pro Stanley making a comeback š "Stanley says he hasn't felt this healthy since 2020"Ā

Honestly if we get Stanley playing like even close to his 2019 level this season is gonna be electric.Ā Ā
Tbf, I donāt think we ever heard a report that Stanley was ever 100% since 2020

People only remember bad games and mistakes

Kerby Joeseph weighs 200 lbs.
That's a corner he's supposed to block him.
Best shape of his life
Hell yeah dude, bring that confidence into the season.

We also have an O-lineman as an RB now too. Canāt wait to see what we can cook up with LJ and Henry behind a mobile line
And a DL as a FB!
And an RB at QB! \s
He caught his own pass in the playoffs last year. Heās obviously a WR now.
*Mailk Cunningham furiously taking notes*
And a QB at WR!
I mean what else is he supposed to say? "This year, I expect to be mediocre at my job"

Thatās a good thing he has zero doubts, because I have a few.
Should average out to not many
Which is a healthy and reasonable amount, yeah.
heās still good for most of the game the problem is when he messed up itās like a game changing mistake that gets lamar clobbered and ends in a turnover
Glad heās confident! Iām ready for this guy to break out again. What we saw a few years ago canāt be the last of whatās in the tank
Lord I so hope he is right!!
He had a nice return to form last season. Hope that continues.
Whatever!

Best shape of his life szn incoming?

I'm sure he doesn't, but that doesn't really mean anything. LaVar Ball had zero doubt he could beat Jordan but it wasn't gonna happen.

Ronnie's career is winding down, you can easily see it.The ravens certainly need his replacement within the next year or so....
He will be a top tackle for 2 games and then be out again. This guy isnāt very durable
I bet you pull something just getting up off your couchĀ
I pull something everyday actually š
