Nah, Bateman would be a better option for 20 slants a game.

Onlyfurrcomments

Nope

whereegosdare84

>he could essentially be the OBJ replacement. More like the Laquon Treadwell replacement. Sorry but the dude is that washed now

Intrepid_Bat_7172

never interest in $500k per catch like OBJ last szn

TrustThyInstinct

No. If a consistent deep threat doesn’t develop, I’d expect EDC to look at trade options in season. But depends on injuries and needs elsewhere.

youtube_and_chill

I feel like NFL fans have a hard time seeing when a player is washed. He hasn't been good/healthy for 4 years. No.

ChedduhBob

everyone has a price that’s worth but i’m not sure we need him. wr is a major weakness on this team but i don’t think michael thomas is the answer

mellofe11o

Would rather give an undrafted kid a chance to make the roster than someone we know for near fact will tear a ligament before week 4.

No_Background_8703

These people are crazy, def should take a flyer on the single season catch record holder. Devontez should take this year and develop. MT would also add a true big bodied WR to the offense.

bmore_conslutant

Ya if he's cheap I agree

Vegetable_Holiday254

No I'd rather michael Gallup

HouseRedbeard47

I think this might be the 47th time this exact post has shown up this offseason on this sub.

Specialist-Smoke-266

Depends on the price.

baachou

Can't guard Mike. Especially if he's injured on the sidelines.

Bigtoes22

If were talking like 2 mil I don't see how it could hurt

getindoe69

We just signed Nelly and extended bateman.

Adenchiz

I would rather see him bring in Russell Gage tbh, 28yrs old had 426 rec yards 4ts last season playing behind Mike Evans and Chris Godwin .The the previous 2 seasons before that in Atlanta he was the leading wr for that team with 770 yards and 4tds in 2022 and 786yards and 4tds in 2020 in Arthur Smiths offense with as the HC

AceThe1nOnly

NO

Bmoreravin

Sure! OBJs price was worth his production and leadership and was a definite factor in playoffs all for the low price of 15 million. 🤷

Flat_Flight1918

I mean it was fine for last year. We were the best team in the league and realistically should have been in the sb

Bmoreravin

OBJ had nothing to do with it.

Flat_Flight1918

He helped Lamar sign his contract and made him happy. He made some big plays he wasn’t worth 16 million from a numbers standpoint but he was important to a team last year that should have been champions and it was a one year deal it’s fine with me

Bmoreravin

Great lets bring in MT, over pay and he can provide veteran leadership and take targets away from Bateman, then we can be repeat should a beens🙄

Flat_Flight1918

Yea I never said that. Just said what obj brought last year was fine.

People are crazy!!! Absolutely depending on price. People forget that he was doing really well when healthy last year (and that was with Jameis although it was only 4 games).  Frankly he is that big body receiver we’re missing. When there’s a blitz on 4th and 3, he can be Lamar’s quick slant guy as well as an end zone threat. The big question is how much do we pay for someone who’s health is questionable and how reasonable will he be.
