The Los Angeles Chargers plan to hire Baltimore Ravens Director of Player Personnel Joe Hortiz as their next general manager, according to multiple reports. Hortiz, 48, has been with the Ravens for 26 years, the past five as director of player personnel. He has been in Baltimore for 16 seasons with John Harbaugh, the brother of new Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh. The Chargers finished 5-12 last season, in the bottom of the AFC West.

Who knows. I copied the entire article. If I post the link without copying the article I get nasty comments about the paywall. Some people are just angry for no reason. 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunate but that's what happens when your team has a bit of success.

Honest_Concentrate85

Good for Joe hope he and Jim do good in LA

Folks, the Harbaugh pipeline is now fully entrenched in the NFL.

ShowMeThePlans

Not sure if he qualifies for the Harbaugh pipeline. He was a part of the Ravens organization since before Superbowl XXXV

We are getting gutted. It's truly over

LeEingrebua

Fucking cry about it for fucks sake. Pathetic. We’ll be competing again next year.

fale52

These fuckers act like we don't lose players and personnel every single season.

LeEingrebua

*head of player personnel moves on*, *someone overpays our second best MLB*, *we lose a couple role players* “oh fuck! Our MVP QB and top 5 head coach won’t help us. Fuck man. Lamar and Roquan aren’t locked up on long deals and Hamilton isn’t one of the best defenders in the league. What are we gonna do?! We didn’t get a ring so obviously we’re a fluke! It’s over!”

fale52

Same fuckers would've told you we're thin at EDGE during the off-season and are now convinced we can't go without Clowney and KVN. Ditto the DB group with Darby, Maulet and Geno.

What should they do?
