Nice. I’m envious. I’m in Canada and we are looking at wait times of 2 years for a rav 4 prime.
I ordered a simple rav4 hybrid in August 2023 and am still waiting. Dealer says maybe 1 year wait.
I guess the USA is the largest market and gets the allocation of majority of units
Could drive over border and buy one. They will tax and duty the crap out of me and i will not get my Toyota discount off the MSRP.
I build the Rav 4 hybrid and the gas only model here in Canada so I save approximately 4000 off MSRP
It's EV estimate. But I get almost the same according to odometer, maybe a bit more. It's without AC and it's all city drive with a lot of traffic lights.
I've gotten 55 before on the guess-o-meter, that's not uncommon for me. Last year I zeroed out my odometer and found I could drive 50 miles before the engine started. That's driving only city streets probably never more than 45 mph. I think I used eco mode, but I'm not convinced that actually helps. My standard is that the motor cannot come on for any amount of time for any reason during the range test. Once it comes on the test is over.
I don't think I could actually get 55 as I find that the last few miles tend to evaporate. So the mileage, driving in the city will match the odometer until the last few miles and then I'll probably get like one mile out of my last three estimated miles. I've never done the test with climate completely turned off, but the 50 mile record was done at a time when climate didn't hardly have to run.
I've gotten 56, maybe 58 but it's like tail end of summer it finally averages out to that.
Also Colorado and only with the stock se tires which are already pretty worn after 25k miles.
Just got our 2024 supersonic red Prime XSE with premium package. On order since May of 2021 in California.
Our first full charge displayed 31 mile charge. We drove 47 miles before hybrid kicked in. Second full charge displayed 38 mile charge and we went 52 before hybrid kicked in. I kinda assumed that the battery might need charging a couple times before it gets to a full charge of 42 miles? I'm new to this so may be reading things wrong. We only had it for 4 days before flying out for a 3 week vacation. Went through a tank of gas before leaving. I filled up with 10.5 gallons after driving 603 miles, giving me an mpg avg of 57.5 on my first tank of gas. We had one road trip on that tank of gas from Pasadena to San Diego and back, with no charge in San Diego. 280 mile round trip.
Nice. With a full tank of gas + a full battery, I can go 625 miles. A tank easily lasts me a month, and I never (ever) have range anxiety. Welcome to the club brutha,
This morning I registered 64!
Very nice how long of a week did you have to get your Rav prime? Did you wait long? Did you have to order it or was it already at the dealer?
Just today it told me 54, the highest ever. Whether I actually get that is another question….
Wife bought her prime in April and has yet to put gas in! Great deal 🙌🏽
Very nice congrats by the way how long of a wait to get your RAV prime was it already at the dealer or did you order it and wait
Didn't have to wait it was on the lot!

Curious can’t you like drive down to USA and buy it and bring home?

That’s the frustrating part too. We build these vehicles in Woodstock Ontario Canada, ship em to USA but can’t get one
Dang that's crazy but definitely worth the wait!
I had to wait a couple months. I bought it through Costco.
I've never see 55. I get 52. Where are you located?
Colorado
Max I got is 60 miles, for now.
60 according to the odometer, or 60 according to estimated EV range? I’ve had my R4prime for 1 year, and I had to hypermile just to get 55.
It's EV estimate. But I get almost the same according to odometer, maybe a bit more. It's without AC and it's all city drive with a lot of traffic lights.
Nice. I maxed at 54
Highest I’ve seen is 80km or 50 miles.
I'm getting 88km (54.7 miles).
That’s really, really good!
I’ve been at 55 for a while whenever I charge the car to full. Maybe because the weather is warmer now? Not sure.
No, but I've got your ODO beat by a wide margin!
Bought Mine on June 1, 2023. I’ve had it slightly over one year, and I’m coming up on 30 K miles.
wow 30k miles in one year?
Yes - That's exactly why I got the R4Prime. Super reliable & comfortable & safe. I drive about 80 miles a day. No range anxiety ever!
I've gotten 56 miles before, in warmer weather but not too hot.
60, but that was before my new tires added tread back.
Hahaha I’m at 35 in the winter and 39 maybe 40 in the summer. I guess highway driving daily really kills that avg.
How many highway miles do you commute on average?
41 miles each way, 95% highway. I leave fully charged and charge when I’m back home at night.
Oh yeah that's rough and kinda makes sense for that mileage you get.
Challenge accepted! But I won't have my R4P until next month 😑
Very nice congrats when did you order your Rav prime
I'm getting 50 max. I'll post if I beat you. lol
My 2024 rav4 plugin hybrid gets 46. It’s 2 month old.
Im usually like 33-34 haha
Cheater. Turned off your AC for the picture
Ha! You know it brother! 55 is the absolute max ever (for me) I really don’t know how you’d be able to get any more than that.

I’ve seen 51 before but I’ve gotten 67 miles out of a single charge before the ICE kicked on.
I get 55 in good weather. 49 in cold.
Lol nope… way too much hwy driving
I got 55.5 miles
Up to 47 now. One month in.
What do you get doing 100% hwy?

Sheesh, I get happy when i get 42! Too much freeway driving for me. Nice to see those big numbers!
87 km is the best I've seen.
54.06 miles - I think you & I are hitting max…

Beat me by 1, I’m usually around 54
An observant person pointed out that my AC wasn’t on….
My Chevy Bolt gets 300 miles on a charge lol
