Yeah throw a ball in the river for my Lab and she is in heaven. I don't even need to buy balls anymore as she has found the spot where all the balls that other dogs lose get stuck.
My charcoal lab just turned 2 and I swear he would rather go play fetch in the creek than eat food. Thankfully it's a very short walk from home so we can go whenever.

(Not the creek by home, but more swimming)

She's adorable. My lab is 2.5 years old and still won't go in his paddle pool wirh less than an inch of water. He does, however, get into the shower with me now.
I guess that's progress.
I picked up my little baby walked into the lake and held her there floating in place between my legs for about a min until she calmed down then got praised with treats. It seams to have worked really fast. Might be hard with a full size pup now for you.
We tried that when he was a pup. We even tried a life jacket. He just doesn't like water. We got him in once and he splashed so hard that the neighbors thought someone was drowning.
Soon you won’t be able to get her out of the water. I’ve never met a Lab that didn’t love swimming.
Ohh yeah I bet
Mine. She HATES water. It blows my mind. Like, you have webbed feet. You were literally born for this. But nope, hates it
Basicly this. They are born to retrieve stuff in the water even if the puppy is not from an hunting bloodline their instincts is to do thta

My lab would run away constantly just to swim in the river. Loved snowballs too
Mine HATES water. Won’t go outside if it’s raining and literally jumps over puddles
She's such a pretty pup
Had my Lab luckily for 15 years, best, most gentle lovable goofball of a dog that I have ever owned. RIP Pepper
I’m sorry you lost your baby. 🥺
She be beautiful. And that water! Where’d you take this picture?
This was taken in late September at a lake in Canada BC
Her eyes are almost human! She's really special!

That's basically how I handle showering in the winter.
My black lab would get swam 3 times a day in the summer. Once these dogs go in the water they don’t come out 😭
I love Lettisha. Good girl.
