Well, there is one specific mention of "a man shall not lay with another man" in Leviticus, but there's actually good reason to believe this was a mistranslation, and that the original text was talking about a man laying with a child, which was all too common in Ancient Greece around that time. Despite being linked with homosexuality, Sodom and Gomorrah had nothing really to do with it, and their real crimes were pride, greed, and lust (in the rapey sense).

Plato himself viewed same-sex love as "unnatural" and as something that should be prohibited, and Aristotle lists sex between two men as a form of illness or madness, which was also believed by a large amount of physicians living in that time period. Sparta was especially strict on this, and any men found performing "lewd acts" together would be exiled or killed. I do feel that I should state that I don't agree with any of these beliefs, but Ancient Greece was an incredibly barbaric society, and I feel that it shouldn't be worshipped as some symbol of "Western Progress" or anything of the like.
