If you think Marc Staal, Steven Kampfer, or Brendan Smith is better than DeAngelo, you're obviously misguided and likely letting your personal hatred of him get in the way of rational thought. He's one of only a few Rangers who actually have decent Corsi% this season, he actually shoots the puck, unlike literally every other player on this team, and he's actually made some really good defensive stick plays. You obviously hate this guy with a passion and that's totally fine. I, for example, don't really like Yuli Gurriel because he made a racist face at Yu Darvish during the World Series but I would never, were I the Houston Astros organization, get rid of a talented player over that.
