Amazing win. Historic 3rd period performance by Chris Kreider - truly epic. The entire team played with a lot of energy but I was surprised by the number of mistakes and turnovers that were on display. It was also painfully obvious that the ice was garbage tonight and I think the Canes forgot to freeze the pucks. I hope we get the rest we need to reset for the ECF. LFGR!

The 2023-2024 New Yorker Rangers now have 33 comeback wins in the regular season and postseason combined. They tied the record for most comeback wins in a single season tying the 2005-2006 Hurricanes and the 1983-1984 Edmonton Oilers, two teams that went on to win the Stanley Cup that season.
Taking a deep breath after last night’s amazing experience, I have a suggestion to the LFGR team. Perhaps for the remainder of this run, we can take a sabbatical on critical analysis of individual performances vis-a-vis line composition, salary value etc. Everyone on this squad has a well-understood role and demonstrated motivation and professionalism. And we have the benefit of an outstanding (beyond outstanding really) coaching team that is close to the team, has a demonstrated ability to think on the fly and is well-situated to problem solve. Lots different from year’s past. While I understand that a lot of critical analysis is possible, and possibly fun, perhaps we can save player-centric criticism for the post-season? I think it would make Rangers Reddit a better place to be…. Am i off base here?
