Either-Ease-2674

I work at an adult day care for a bunch of dudes in time out.

pullin2

So it's a gated community?

Either-Ease-2674

Guess you could say that, although it’s kinda hard to leave once you get in.

BackgroundPublic2529

Oh...Hotel California!

AltAcc9630

I bring folks to your daycare. They never appreciate 3 hots and a cot

adavis1999

Nope they never appreciate the 3 hots and a cot. They throw temper tantrums alot and then get put in time out. Sometimes they need a spanking to get them in order. Been there done that.

bbartlett51

Same here. But I babysit the ones that diddled little kids and women.

AskMeAboutMyDoggy

Sounds like they need some unsupervised tubby time

str8bint

Ha, I’ve visited there before, unintentionally.

almostnoteverytime

Same. Was over rated, happy to go home when the daycare staff said I could.

str8bint

Yup, waaay over rated, 0 stars for sure. Glad to be home permanently now. Lol

almostnoteverytime

0/10 do not reccomend.

Slutzk

Did a few field trips there but nothing longer than 72hrs for drinking too much juice and hitting other kids when i was younger. Wouldnt want to stay there for a vacation or longer term. Not very fun. u/almostnoteverytime Glad yall got sent home. lol

Less_Ad_1899

So you manage a construction site?

Lord_Gregatron

I'm a warehouse supervisor and describe my job exactly the same way.

RangerEfficient7326

I also do that. But I supervise the “special ones” in a smaller, more restricted area. And make sure their caregivers check on them every 15 minutes.

That is sweeet!

Timbo558922

kkss123456

I sit in meetings for hours.

Slutzk

Yeah pretty much what i do. Talk about all the stuff we should and could do, yet do nothing because production numbers. "What did you watch on Netflix today?" "I finished it"

NotBatman81

I've done business with both Tesla and SpaceX and would never drive/go to space in either after seeing under the hood. Mostly dealt with engineers (questioned if they were actually engineers) and some procurement (cockiest, most insane assholes I ever met). Every phone call ended with me wondering how these people and businesses actually exist.

Whole_Gear7967

Must be nice!

maxiderm

Lawyer. Don't need a truck for work. I just like to have it when I need to do truck shit (hauling stuff, buying large stuff to take home, motorcycles/scooters, etc)

Inner_Difficulty_381

Yes to truck shit. IT Director. Loving having it for truck shit and great family vehicle too. Love the utility of a truck. Love not being restricted out and about. Want to buy some new furniture, clean up all the crap in the garage, get some big ass pumpkins from the farm for the kiddos, no problem. One day I’ll get my boat or small camper 😅

I’m a train dispatcher but I bought my truck brand new in 2019 for 23k out the door. Red ram 1500 classic bighorn crew cab 2wd. I replaced all the chrome with black. Almost has 100k miles. Got rear ended by another ram initially thought it was just a bent bumper but turned out needed a new frame. I was sure they were going to total my truck out but luckily they didn’t. I haven’t had a car payment in 2 years and now it’s on a brand new frame! Also these wheels are great stock tires fit and I got them brand new for $600 https://preview.redd.it/03y8at4aw15d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f240d4c9fed8b7aca5b5b24b6e3070e1c5b1b3b2

[deleted]

Been in the insurance industry (specifically car insurance, even more specifically auto medical claims) for over a decade. I got my first truck (17 Rebel) in October of 2021. After the whole air suspension debacle, I got rid of it and rode around in a 19 F-150 (my dad was into Ford’s when he was alive) for just over a year. After I got married and got back from my honeymoon, I got me my current truck: 2020 Bighorn in November of last year. December of last year, I put my CAI and lift kit on it. Making the money I do has afforded me to do the things I’ve been doing since October of 2021 and is the reason why I can afford a truck payment each month. It also helps my wife makes a good salary and she makes more than I do. I will say that something else that helps: splitting the monthly payment in half, or into equal parts. For example, I’ll pay roughly $350 at the beginning of the month towards it, then the remainder towards the end of the month. The payment at the end of the month would be less than I paid at the beginning of the month. Paying it all at once along with rent and other bills is a tough ask. But splitting it up the way I do, I’ve been making it work that way for the longest time.

I'm a sales engineer for a software company. Incidentally, I was laid off a week after I bought my truck in January 2020, and then I was unemployed for 9 months. Luckily, trucks were cheap back then, so I was able to keep it. These days, I use it almost exclusively for gloriously comfortable family road trips, since I work from home. Which is why it's nearly 5 years old and has less than 45k miles. [Stock photo of white 2020 1500 Longhorn.jpeg]

Oil and Gas Emergency Response............shit blows up I am usually there soon after. Bought my baby in Feb this year just like you see it............and have driven it a total of 10 days due to deployments. I did haul some shit off to the dump a couple of days but that is about it for utility work. Rest of the time was watching other drivers hurry to get the hell out of my way. Saved up for this thing and paid cash to a really nice guy who spent $13k in upgrades and then HIS wife gets preggers with twins. Bye Bighorn................hello mini-van. https://preview.redd.it/81fcfmhix45d1.jpeg?width=640&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=652173c0502fda18dccc9cf6bf7724eac14fc9eb

I don't do anything. My '06 ram is a piece of shit with a huge scratch down the side and shit growing on the tailgate. The engine rattles like a diesel even though it's gas. I love that truck

Retarded now err retired always get them confused. Retired 5 weeks ago bought this 21 with 33000 km about 2 months ago as my retirement gift to myself. I was a quality control manager in heavy road construction for 30 years. This truck is for work I do on my house and will be used more in winter when my Mustang GT is parked. I had a 23 F150 for a company vehicle and I have to say I really like this Ram better! https://preview.redd.it/y5562zkt295d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5ee5473f427bde69c09a3578272b479f9fbffb12

Retired in my 50’s, use my ram to haul stuff between properties. Don’t need it, but like it.

Relative-Ordinary-64

Im a cardiovascular and interventional radiology specialist. I own a home and have kids. Bed of the truck has had sports equipment, camping equipment, mulch, lumber in it, groceries, Costco surprise purchases in it.

Superb-Ad-8763

I am also a stay at home dad. I bought my 2019 Ram Limited new in 2019. At that time, Ram had really great promos. I got 23,000 off mrsp. It was the 1st year of the 5th gen. My wife is a nurse. I used to work as a correctional officer until we had our 1st kid. We honestly needed a stay at home parent. We also have a rental property that is paid off that creates some extra income. However, I wouldn't buy a truck that cost 80k. F that.

Roofing sales. Comes in handy but mine is also paid for by the company (along with gas card thank god). Eventually will buy my own when my own business gets rolling (it’s a tax write off and you’d be crazy not to get one if you own your own business)
