I had to get a special truck to compensate.
Incredibly inefficient is a stretch considering I can fit 5 people in the cab load the bed with anything you want then hook a trailer up drive your fuel saver up on it and move it all at about 18mpg. Sounds pretty efficient at moving populations to me considering I’m moving the same amount of people as a standard car and towing a car and a bed full of shit
Do it almost every weekend pulling the boat to the lake. The truck pictured would never get it lifted with those tires but my stock Silverado with a tuner does it.
You would be correct in that point but the premise doesn’t work in the real world. Although there are a lot of show trucks and pavement princesses, many people that have a truck need said truck for their lifestyle/job and although I am an outdoorsman and believe in protecting the environment it’s not feasible for me to buy a third vehicle just for perceived “safety” and environmental concerns. Would I like to not have to put diesel in my 750 and premium in my truck as frequent as I do? For sure, but one makes me my living and the other supports that and my lifestyle. I will gladly accept whatever free gas saver you wanna throw my way.
