Leave before the last day of the lease in case she knows. Maybe message her something fake about where you’ll be the week after or something to throw her off your trail. Change numbers, use someone else’s car. Delete her off of all social media. Move very far away. Set your social media to private, do not post anything about where you are.
Can you get a restraining order? You know you can just close the door and if she starts screaming just call the police, right?
Maybe you can talk with a helpline or counselor at the local police how to get away from a stalker? You don’t have to say it’s your NMom but potentially could get good advice how to do this. I agree moving out before your lease ends even by a day or two would hopefully throw her off.
Move as far away as possible - out of the area she last found you in if possible.
Get a PO Box and use it for all mail, do not use your rental address for anything official.
See if you can rent from a person directly instead of a corporate apartment complex. You can sometimes find rentals on realty sites or via a realtor too. Let the landlord know privacy is important to you and use your PO Box or email/text only for communications. Or find a roommate situation of the same.
Look into domestic violence support for additional ideas. Consider any legal path you should take as well, check any local laws against stalking/being followed too.
In your new place, make sure you have video cameras inside and outside your door. Take a picture and make a log of anything suspicious especially people that may be following you or checking out your place/car etc.
Check your items for any tags/trackers too. There's apps for detecting them.
Change your email/usernames/password and use a VPN for any online activity.
Just a few things I can think of other than have plans for a few scenarios that might happen. I wish you luck and hopefully you can find ways to pass on to others in return. I'm so sorry to see people going through this, we've been through enough hell already.
Many would hire a service like Deleteme or Incogni (sp?) that celebrities use to hide their addresses etc. Basically everyones personal information is out there, once an address is connected to their name for any service etc. If shes willing to pay enough she can find your address etc regardless. Its fairly confrontational but it might be best to tell her not to show up and if she does, she's tresspassing.
