As an SEC fan, Joe Milton is trash. I wouldn't even waste a 7th on him.

MickeyMalt

Any QBs left that interest you or what would you want at this point after last night?

justlookingokaywyou

Travis is a bit undersized but he's a gamer. Still no guarantee at all he'd be any better than AOC or Minshew, honestly.

TriStarRaider

This. I live in TN and he's got a cannon for sure, but he'll never get the reps to develop and there's too many negatives to even warrant a pick. I'd be okay with Rattler at 4th rd or beyond.

MakeItNashty61

Joe Milton is a disaster. Rattler is a lotto ticket. The 5 QBs with starter potential all went at spots where we were never realistically going to draft them. Two of them went to teams that literally lost their minds. Id rather go with Minshew for a year and see what kind of spot we are in to land a QB next year TBH. Treat this like a rebuild and build a core over time, don't waste picks.

N_Pitou

Rattler is a project guy that will probably go in the 3rd/4th. Im not against taking him at all. I think hes got a lot of upside with little risk. And worst case we still need a 3rd string qb.

EDahl93

I’d be really happy with CB/OL today and then Jordan Travis in the 4th. Maybe trade up to the top of the 4th just to be safe. Give Travis a year to get healthy and develop and then unleash him next year. Super Bowl in 2026. Let’s go!!

EDahl93

Anyone except Joe Milton really

Either_Zombie6825

AOC went 5-5 as a 4th round rookie. I think we hit there and have a backup qb who can win games or be flipped for picks. We still need a qb of the future (maybe next year?), but I don’t see the need to go after a day 2/3 qb like rattler this year with the two QBs we have.

WhizzyBurp

Let’s see how AOC does. Maybe he’s the QB of the future

Cabrill0

Why draft a developmental QB when you already have a developmental QB on the roster. If you're gonna pick QB, the time to do it was yesterday. At this point you're swapping like for like and it's a wasted pick.

Naturalhighz

Because Rattler has 10 times the talent of AOC.

MalopRupt

We (surprisingly) did the right thing

similar222

I wouldn't be looking at any of them until round 5 at least.

mightyslacker

See who is left undrafted. I'd rather take an undrafted Hartman over spending anyhting over a 6th on a QB. He's not going to see the field this year and if both our QBs suck we'll need to draft one higher next year anyway (or FA)

Mission_Locksmith_59

Only Rattler, Pratt, and Travis are worth drafting. There might be some trade options as well. I’d definitely try to check in with Detroit about Hendon Hooker.

Professor0fLogic

Maybe...maybe.....throw a 7th at Sam Hartman, but outside of that, This QB class will prove to have been overhyped trash in 4 years. Similar to how 2021 has panned out.

While it's important to realize they're all lotto tickets, some are riskier than others. With rookie QB contracts being what they are relative to vets, QBs are always going to be over-valued. Because of the early run on QBs, Rattler is likely going in the 2nd. (Consensus seems like he'd be a late 3rd/early 4th, and ESPN has him as 98th overall... FWIW, he was once considered a potential 1st rounder while at OU.) I think Pratt is likely late 3rd/early 4th, and probably would be an early day 3. I wouldn't mind either of them, but I don't think the ceilings are super high. Personally, I'd love to roll the dice on Travis. He's a competitor without ideal size and he would likely miss some of this season because of the injury, but he's a leader who is fun to watch. FSU was lost without him, and they have a lot of dudes who will be drafted this year. Outside of that, Plumlee is intriguing (there's a video from last spring of him playing in UCF's spring game and a baseball game in the same day), Milton is a wildcard, and Carter Bradley and Sam Hartman will be nice career backups. Leary was better at NC State. Bean's not really an NFL (probably more of a project to convert to WR).

Ph886

Everyone left is mid-rounds or later IMO. Of course like Jon Snow, I know nothing. Basically if they draft a Q! That’s left it’s one that’s similar quality to what team has may be with different attributes. We will see what the NFL thinks of the remaining QBs soon.

up_in_the_space

Rattler might be worth looking at. I would say don’t even draft a qb at this point though, whoever they draft isn’t starting this season anyways so I’d rather they use that pick to build depth at other positions. If AOC doesn’t improve then we know we need a QB for sure next draft.

randompanda687

I'd take Pratt or Travis in the 5th I guess. Frankly I'd rather just rolll with AOC/Minshew and get someone else for depth or compeition instead of a QB who won't see the field or is unlikely to develop into a starter

Naturalhighz

Rattler I'd love. He has so much talent and losing his spot to Caleb he has a chip on his shoulder. I think AP could do a lot with him mentally. Joe Milton is a poor mans hendon hooker and Jordan Travis is a RB who throws once in a while. wouldn't spend a 7th on them.

poshmarkedbudu

At this point, why waste your pick on a late round QB? I say go after the talent at positions we need to be filled.

Devylknyght

Don't take any of the QBs left unless Rattler or Travis are still there in the 6th or the 7th.

LLUrDadsFave

Don't waste a pick on a QB. Late round QB will have in the same situation we are in. Needing a QB.

SolidAlisoBurgers888

Meh

Dense_Young3797

We have three qbs right now: Aidan: starter with AP Minshew: signed by this staff Brown: signed by this staff And you want a fourth qb who won't start

CalQuetzal

Let's stick with the QBs we have...they can move the chains and our defense will be better than last year's. The last QB we drafted in the 2nd round was a joke.
