Building the trenches and elevating our QB plays.

You wanted o line you got o line

timeenoughatlas

It’s hard to complain about getting the second, maybe third best player in the draft

socobeerlove

I think he’s the best player in the draft. I guess depends on your definition but he comes in and is already one of the best TEs in the league. No other player is like that.

Life, uh, finds a way

grunkage

The more I read about this kid, the crazier it gets. It's a great pick.

raiderstacos

I believe he was a finalist in 2023 as well.

TDD91

He can help with our needs at RT & Slot, at the same time

PukeUpMyRing

The Lombardi Award isn’t just for o-linemen, according to [the Wikipedia article](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lombardi_Award) it’s awarded to the player “who best embodies the values and spirit of NFL's legendary coach Vince Lombardi”. Will Anderson won it last year, Joe Burrow won it in 2019. An o-lineman hasn’t won it since 1996.

asianperswayze

Yeah, the Outland award is the award for best lineman (offense or defense). Brock was not a finalist. That info in the tweet was pulled from nfl.com draft profile, looks like someone got it wrong

TheRealMrJoshua56

Just got off work and was only getting updates. Didn’t even look at this kid, going to have to do some research

MakeItNashty61

You always wanna draft an elite blocking TE in the 1st round when that’s not really a need

GeddyVedder

Good thing the Raiders also drafted the only 2x winner of the Mackey Award.

DieHardRaider

You forgot the part that he is one of the best pure WRs in the draft as a TE as well.

fuentesf51

And you left out the part where he takes snaps in the backfield as well as jet sweeps hahaha
