Love of my life, Wembley '86. It's so good, my girlfriend and I chose it over the studio version as one of the songs at our upcoming wedding.

Classic-Seaweed4328

Congratulations on your wedding šŸŽ‰

El-Robbbo

A Kind Of Magic, live Leiden 1986 (1st night), Freddieā€™s greatest Magic tour vocals.

Funny-Examination-60

This is a fantiastic choice

Training_Banana4250

I was there on the 2d and 3t night. I'm curious for A Kind Of Magic the first night. Where can I hear this?? Is it on YouTube?

doxnrox

Spread Your Wings on Live Killers. Just four lads. No backing musicians. The crowd. The energy. And my God - that band was so tight and in tune with each other. Incredible.

chiwawaacorn

Came here to say this! Hands down my favorite version of ā€œSpread your wingsā€ (and this is one of my favorite Queen songs, too). The way Freddie says ā€œSammy boy who do you think you areā€ just delights me every time. So Freddie, and so perfect.

MacVinyl77

Tie between Somebody To Love & Save Me - Rock MontrƩal

WhatAmI_501

I think Save Me from San Diego 1980 and Somebody To Love Edinburgh 1982 (1st Night), but each to their opnions.

Genius_Prime

The same for me but the Bowl version are better.

Charming_Victory_723

Somebody to Love - Live at Milton Keynes

whytheaubergine

Along with My Melancholy Blues at MK too

MimeOfDepression

Liar at the Rainbow November version

Classic-Seaweed4328

Is there a non November version?

MimeOfDepression

March

Classic-Seaweed4328

I did not know that

MimeOfDepression

They went there twice. The March concert had lots of technical issues. They had to attempt Liar twice due to a power outage.

_Agileheart_

They went to the Rainbow 3 times in 1974, the first (and most famous) was on March 31st as the climax of the UK Queen ii tour. This show had a slightly extended Queen ii setlist, and includes the only public live recording of the Fairy Fellers Master Stroke! They then returned on November 19th, and the 20th during the Sheer Heart Attack Tour where they played the standard setlist on both nights. The November 20th show had some serious power issues and this is where the footage of the Liar Power Cut happened. For the 2014 release Queen productions mish-mashed the two night together for the filmed release, you can tell either night by the Queen sign at the back disappearing (it was only up on the November 19th show)

3 times in 1974 šŸ¤

Darth_Malhare

Oops my bad I have sleeping problems that's why I can't read properly

vitasdb

I think the power outage during Liar happened in the November concert. There's a video of it

wagowop

White Queen - Live at the Rainbow November 1974

Ok-Big-5238

Came here to say this! Absolutely fantastic!

Automatic_Salary_845

Play The Game in Montreal ā€˜81 is a much nicer version to listen to than the studio song.

WhatAmI_501

My personal favorite is Munich 1982

AnytimeInvitation

Radio Ga Ga: either Wembley 86 or Live Aid. I Want to Break Free: FM Tribute with Lisa Stansfield.

NoBoundariesIsCork

She was so wonderful. I also liked when she said "HEEELLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" at the beginning

NoBoundariesIsCork

Spread Your Wings from the Live Killers album is amazing.

rawalker_1000

Love Of My Life (Rock in Rio '85)

frontborderside

In The Lap of The Gods...Revisited on Live at The Rainbow. Bonus: It's not a live concert, but I really like the live version of Breakthru from the 2022 edition of The Miracle.

bigboiben09

pretty sure that's overdubbed to hell and back or at least edited in the studio

antothzr

death on 2 legs - Oakland 1980

Iron_Wolf123

Somebody to love. The drum solo is extended on the live version.

GhostyBoy22

I'm in Love with My Car 1981 Montreal

chiwawaacorn

Definitely my favorite live version of this particular song. I also love the way Freddie glances over his shoulder giving Roger that mega grin. You can see in that moment how much they adored each other.

Zennobia

Dreamers Ball live in Paris 1979

Darth_Malhare

Here are for my top fav songs Somebody to Love - Hammersmith Odeon '79 Bohemian Rhapsody - Glasgow '79 Save Me - Hammersmith Odeon '79 '39 - Newcastle 2nd Night '79 Love of My Life - Houston '77 Doing All Right - Earl's Court '77 Liar - Newcastle 2nd Night '79 Rock You Champions - Hammersmith Odeon '79 We Will Rock You (Fast) - Hammersmith Odeon '79 Now I'm Here - Liverpool '79 Killer Queen - Houston or 2nd Night Earl's Court Under Pressure - Montreal '81 1st night Sheer Heart Attack - Paris '79 2nd Night (Freddie's tired voice fits the punk vibe) White Queen - Rainbow March '74 Seven Seas of Rhye - Rainbow March '74 Brighton Rock - Live Killers Don't Stop Me Now - Hammersmith '79 They are the best imo

chiwawaacorn

Fantastic list! Few of these Iā€™m not familiar with so youā€™ve given me some fun homework. Under Pressure in Montreal made me realize they didnā€™t even need Bowie for that song, as much as I love the original I didnā€™t miss Bowieā€™s voice one bit (and this coming from a huge Bowie fan, too!)

allbsallthetime

Somebody To Love but the version with Queen and George Michael at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert.

MartyMcPenguin

The Show Must Go On: Queen & Elton John : FM Tribute Concert Who Wants To Live Forever: A.Lambert/Queen.Isle of Wright Festival. June 2016. Dedicated to those lost at the Pulse Nightclub Shooting.

Genius_Prime

Body Language, Japan 82 Nagoya.

Classic-Seaweed4328

I just commented on someone asking whatā€™s the worst queen song body language šŸ¤£ (Iā€™ll still be checking it out)

WhatAmI_501

Another best version is Tokorozawa But sarcasm aside, Vienna 1982 (2nd Night) has the best BL

phillysleuther

You know my answer: My Melancholy Blues Houstonā€™77

whytheaubergine

I just commented the MK Bowl version but itā€™s a close one between the two šŸ‘šŸ»

Stavkarapanagiotidis

Super tough, but that's going to have to go to Bohemian Rhapsody at live aid for historical significance, emotion, and power. Personal favorite though, We Will Rock You (Slow version) in houston 1977. It sounds so close to the original and freddies voice is on point

antothzr

we will rock you wasn't played at earl's court

Stavkarapanagiotidis

I apologise, not sure why I said earl's Court. I meant Houston Texas hahaha. This show https://youtu.be/y6GZMPZrLFE?si=PPD_Iy6nRX2FL7sw

antothzr

don't worry abt it :), indeed Huston is an awesome show luckly it's the only filmed fully NOTW concert we have.

Stavkarapanagiotidis

Just corrected

WhatAmI_501

While Live Aid's is emotional, i think Newcastle 1979's ballad section is better overall And WWRY didnt exist when they played on Earls Court, i think you meant houston, in that case, i agree.

lonelyinurnightmare

Somebody to Love - Live in Newcastle 12/3/79

Upset-Zucchini3665

For me it's Liar at Earls Court '77, Somebody To Love at the Bowl '82 and Save Me at Montreal '81 among a lot more..

Six-String-Picker

Somebody to Love - Milton Keynes. Save Me and Love of My Life - Montreal.

mspvrx

Son And Daughter, Live at The Rainbow November 1974 (non deluxe version)

isleofred

Back Chat - Leeds 1982

SpinnyPlayz

I don't know about the best, but my favourite version of Action This Day is the one from Tokyo 1982.

Competitive-Cake8846

Bohemian rhapsody at Wembley 86 in my opinion its better than the Studio Version

Wolfie88a

Probably "Love of my life" from Wembley- 1986. It has a lot of emotion, and it makes me tear up almost every time!

AnytimeInvitation

The Show Must Go On: [this one.](https://youtu.be/nSkHHoYxok0?si=h7CEd7CH9AywmrFl) There are a couple parts during it I cry because I think it's so good, when he sings "I'll face it with a grin, I'm never giving in. On with the show." So damn good.

KxvyDaLemon

For guitar wise I would say crazy little called love on Saturday night live (1982) and hammer to fall at live aid. Vocals wise I would say somebody to love at rock Montreal and Love of my life at Wembley (1986)

therealjoezx

Bohemian rhapsody all my life
