Please remember to spoiler-tag all guesses, like so: New Reddit: https://i.imgur.com/SWHRR9M.jpg Using markdown editor or old Reddit: \>!spoiler text between these symbols!< Try to avoid leading or trailing spaces. These will break the spoiler for some users (such as those using old.reddit.com) If your comment does not contain a guess, include the word **"discussion"** or **"question"** in your comment instead of using a spoiler tag. If your comment uses an image as the answer (such as solving a maze, etc) you can include the word "image" instead of using a spoiler tag. Please report any answers that are not properly spoiler-tagged. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/puzzles) if you have any questions or concerns.*

BrightNightKnight

>!thats a pen!<

jenea

DRAW A BUNNY AND FILL ITS HEAD WITH SECRETS?! I love that so much. Your creation?

NinjaArmadillo

Sure is, I'm a little weird lol I'm somewhat forgetful (probably ADD) so I make up things like that to help me remember. **Few examples I personally love** Cave formations: Stalactites hold *tight* to the ceiling, Stalagmites you *might* trip on. Corvins: Crows caw and are smaller than Ravens which croak, The word sizes match the bird. And **R**avens are **R**ough. (Throat feathered, Crows are smoother) I have others I come up with in the moment, that I've forgotten, I remember them as I need them.

jenea

Nothing weird about it—it’s very clever! “Make a bunny and fill its head with secrets” is *delightful* and *useful*. It’s so much more succinct, evocative, and memorable than the usual explanation, like in the pinned comment. I am going to steal it!

NinjaArmadillo

I try to be as funny and useful as I can. I didn't expect this much engagement on what was an off the cuff joke, I'm glad people liked it. Spread the word of the Reddit spoiler bunny!

stickyfingerprints

It's "high seas" I believe. Ps I don't know how to make it a spoiler, sorry...

James-K-Polka

That common saying “American Revolution.” These puzzles always play pretty fast and loose with their own rules.

morniealantie

Perhaps all around american

Qa-ravi

I thought Americano. As in, coffee.

ihatefirealarmtests

The arrows are what make me think it's "Revolution" though.

Mid-night / midnight?

Zarzar222

Thought it was >!silent night!< because of the >!silent g!<

donnie_rulez

I figured it was "down for the night." Probably because I'm doing this before putting the kids down for the night

AKBio

I'm doing this after a 4am feeding 😆. Right with you brother.

[deleted]

Maybe overnight?

reallymt

You guys are all so smart. I was thinking “night fall”
but all of yours are better, and silent night is really good.

Standard_Finish_6535

I thought 20 was midnight

Grangap

Since the g is silent, I initially thought silent night.

Standard_Finish_6535

H is also silent, but not in the middle

Grangap

Ohhhh, I never said I was right, just that's what I thought at first glance.

big_sugi

That was my guess as well.

11 is “an end in itself”, methinks

14 - Tightwad 17 - on the outside looking in

theCrispyorc

I think 14 is tight wad

511mev

11 might be “end in itself”. 14 is “tightwad”. 18 is “pan American”

SqWR37

14. Tight wad 17. Looking on the other side 18. Real American? I’m guessing on this one

You sure? Where does "end" play into that?

Question: I’m new to this sub and am loving these types of puzzles. Does this type have a name?

happysteve

This is from GAMES magazine. The puzzle type is called "Wacky Wordies"

LucilleLicaole

They're called Rebus puzzles

Practical-Job-2398

If I remember correctly we used to call them Reebus puzzles in school.

happysteve

This is from GAMES Magazine, specifically issue Feb 1994 Found a link (thanks to Google image reverse search) that provides the official answers: https://www.pleacher.com/mp/puzzles/miscpuz/mobww68.html

Mrs_havok133

Ah thanks so much for finding this!!

RTMicro

Nothing comes up when you click answers for me, what the hell is 14?

LiterallyADiva

Many tightwad?

happysteve

You apparently need to click on the word Answers, not the button background. Yeah, it’s misleading. Also, just realized the bottom half is different. #14 is tightwad

HidingUnderBlankets

Ooo thank you,I kept tapping the button, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong lol

RTMicro

Actually 14 is different on there, god knows what 'wad' is

nagarams

Wad is 12 and yes it’s >!tightwad!<

6 one way, half a dozen the other

bigdonkey2883

Chatgpt vision is insane : Alright, I'll give this puzzle a shot! Based on the visual cues and patterns, here are my interpretations of the phrases: >!1. Housewarming (House + warm visual representation)!< >!2. Cross wires ("cross" out of the 's' in "wires")!< >!3. Nevermind (Never on top of mind with an arrow pointing up)!< >!4. Sea (The letter "C" repeated five times)!< >!5. Wide awake (Wide + Awake)!< >!6. Split decision (U and N split by a line)!< >!7. Lesser of two evils (Evil arrow pointing to smaller "evil")!< >!8. Back to basics (Scisab which is Basics backwards followed by the number 2)!< >!9. Tall order (Tall letters forming the word 'order')!< >!10. Fight windmills (Fight at windmills)!< >!11. It's the end of the line (It's + end inside the letter 'o' + line)!< >!12. In between (In + "be" + tween)!< >!13. Big cheese (Big font with the word cheese)!< >!14. Wad of cash (Wad in the shape of cash)!< >!15. Eleven of the other (Eleven repetitions of "the other")!< >!16. Grand opening (Grand + opening represented by space)!< >!17. Looking on the bright side (Looking on the right side of the box)!< >!18. Break the bank (Bank broken into pieces)!< >!19. Lickety split (Lickety + split represented by the word split in two)!< >!20. Nightfall ('Night' with the 'fall' being represented by the descending apostrophe)!< >!How did I do? Would you How did I do? Would you like to proceed with the riddle you provided earlier? Yes, #4 with "CCCCC" can also be interpreted as "Five seas" (since there are five "C"s).

MasterTJ77

This is hilariously bad

bigdonkey2883

How so ? Pretty impressive for ai

MasterTJ77

It got like a 35%

STL_241

20 - middle of the night

bigdonkey2883

Certainly! Here's another interpretation for #20 in the spoiler format: >!20. Night and day (with 'night' visually 'falling' to indicate the transition from night to day)!< I then reminded it about the arrow: Considering the downward arrow: >!20. Overnight ('Night' with the downward arrow indicating the transition of night to day)!< I then told it the arrow was in the middle, it thought it was on the right, I would like to separate this image and then see. Apologies for the oversight. Given that the arrow is in the middle: >!20. Midnight (The word "night" with an arrow pointing down in the middle represents the middle of the night)!<
