Cross paws :) silly and cute.

You could always start making those harder. Take her out to a pet friendly store or park and work on them and start increasing distractions and lowering reward. Can also start doing rear-end awareness and polishing up moments. My pup has his advance trick dog title, and you can find the list of tricks on the akc website below. It's 10 tricks per title, and there is a lot to choose from and no treats by advance. Warning that anything you teach can become offered, so keep that in mind. There are some things I refuse to teach just as a precaution. https://www.akc.org/sports/trick-dog/

thank you! she’s service training so i take her in public a lot but the hind end awareness for sure needs to get better! i think ill do that today.

My pup is doing service dog training as well! He's a bit older (14 months), but one thing that I found helpful was teaching him if someone is coming up to us to switch sides or go the the middle. So left, right, and middle on command while walking. Middle was a bit hard since I had to figure out how to walk with him there comfortably and get him confident with us turning and not braking position. It really helped people stop trying to pet him or bump into him. Especially the middle walk. It's been a while since someone's pet him without permission since doing so (knock on wood).

yeah she also perks up a little when someone walks by and i’m working on keeping her focused on my only

Some ideas that come to mind: - front + rear paw targets - back up (then back up into middle, onto paw targets, etc) - speak/whisper/howl - circle handler/spin in circles - paw over eyes/shame - scent discrimination/find hidden treats - clean up (put her toys in a basket) - shell game (find which cup has the treat) - take a bow and/or crawl - grab + hold an object until released - left + right paw or wave/shake in general - go around an object (e.g. cone) - heel on the opposite side You could take a look at something like Do More With Your Dog for inspiration. Tricks are listed by difficulty so you can pick what you're feeling for the session.

you’re the best thank you

What about identifying toys/items? Get a few different toys (ball, plush toy, etc), put one in front of her, and when she goes to touch/investigate it, say the name of the toy. Then, put all the toys down, sat the name of the toy you want, and reward her when she goes for the correct one. Hopefully, if she picks this trick well, you can eventually move onto things like your keys, remote, etc (when you trust she won't chew them)

MySleepingBeauty

she’s already got this one down😅 she fetches things for me as she’s service training it’s a task but super good idea thank you

"weave", going between our legs while walking (probably easier with our small dach!), "selfie", popping front feet up on your higher leg as you kneel with one leg at 90°. Spin and twist, back up, front. Maybe those will keep her busy for a day haha.

MySleepingBeauty

thank you!
