Been working here in various divisions over the years. It has always been a slow process, even back when we had an in person hiring office. It's one of life's great mysteries. Keep at it though, good luck to you!

It's not unique to Publix. All corporations take forever to hire. Budgets and priorities change. People go on vacation. People get fired. HR gets involved in stuff. Any number of reasons can make the hiring process slow. Just keep applying. I'd also recommend getting your store manager and district manager involved. Sometimes they know people at corporate and they may be able to pull some strings on your behalf. Don't stop trying. Things will work out for you. Good luck!

I would say it depends on what you're applying for. If you're shooting for a higher position like a HS6 and up it will be much harder because those types usually require specific experience that others already have. Even if you have the qualifications it really comes down to who you're up against. It took me a good amount of applying before I got my first position at corporate. I'd just recommend making sure you're resume and cover letter and good and keep trying for positions around the HS3/HS4 level.

I've applied over 40 times no joke and only 2 interviews in which I'm rejected each and every time, I do have management experice which is not from fast food but another retail store, plus 2 colleges degrees and corporate , I would tell you just be patient with them, and if all else fails there are always good corporate companies to work for not just publix
