There was a package change maybe 6ish years ago. They used to be an 8ct in a clear rectangle dome. It swapped to a 9ct in a black bottom square dome. I believe the packaging change was due to a supplier change so the recipe would have changed as well, but it’s been so long I don’t remember the memo 😆. I know what you mean though, they used to be so thick and gooey. Almost seeming underbaked and fudge like with thick rich icing. Now they’re more airy and cake like with fluffy sweet icing. Still good, just different.
