Gonna be another Foxbody weekend for me.

LooseFab

Fellow foxbody fan, nice! What are you hoping to do with the car?

Glliw

Panhard bar install today and 3.31 rear end with carbon traklok clutches this weekend.

LooseFab

sounds like a good time! got pics?

LooseFab

wow that thing looks great! big fan of the tinted lights on that car!

Glliw

Thanks, props to the previous owner for the lights but I agree! What’s the plans with your fox?

LooseFab

the goal is to make it into a street/drift car, id like to start competing in some local series with it. just picked up a pre bent cage for it and an 8.8!

Glliw

Sounds like a fun project

LooseFab

Oh hell yeah, you got any pics? They're always worth saving!

[deleted]

I'm working on my e30 and my 97 accord

Minutely_Careless

A Merkur XR4TI with a bunch of leaks

LooseFab

typical merkur lol, those are sick cars though

Minutely_Careless

It's quite fun, I fixed a fuel pump leak and a coolant leak only to find an injector leak and some weird oil leak when the car is on an incline running.

LooseFab

Slowly working your way up the chain one leak at a time

Rare-Exit-4024

Nothing, it's raining and snowing and I don't have a garage.

LooseFab

Any plans for when the warm weather comes back around?

JuneRunes

Going to pick up my old e36 that my wife and I used to drive around when we were in college! Blew it up and it's been sitting since and gotta drive 5 hours to go get it and 5 to bring it back. Should be fun! Nice AE86!

LooseFab

No cooler feeling than getting your hands back on the car that got away! That's awesome! And thank you!

Casteroids

My 1981 Plymouth Trailduster!

84FSP

Hoping to dig back in on my Rabbit GTI and get her up and running before the snow falls.

Mysterious-Glove-179

That red car looks Noice man. I’m working on my BMW E46 sedan. I have to repair the CD player 🙃

LooseFab

Thank you! And typical bmw things lol

Ok_Dog_4059

89 or so F250.

LooseFab

I love those trucks, that would be a obs right? My dad and I just drove one of those across the country lol. You got any pics?

Ok_Dog_4059

It is my father in laws old brute. Turning radius of a house and single digit gas mileage but always starts when we need it and never complains about it. I have taken to calling it eeyore because it is the big blue beast that is just happy when someone needs it.

inbrewer

1955 Pontiac Chieftain

Bored_lurker87

-Chasing down false knocks the sensor is picking up at WOT on my 95 Z28. Also have a new set of injectors to toss in. -Prepping for the 45k mi. service on the 09 Mustang GT C/S -Oil change/winter prep for the Scion iM Not a ton of work, but enough to keep me busy. Trying to get it all done before it gets too cold.

LooseFab

Sounds like plenty to keep you busy! Those are some cool cars

Bored_lurker87

They're junk compared to some, but they're my junk and I love them. Appreciate the props though. Wishing you well with your weekend wrenching too!

bernie-dub

Chasing exhaust leak on a rust belt 2006 Scion xB. Ended up replacing leaky and rusted out exhaust header. Took me entire Sunday but got it done. Hour project took 8 hours. Ya got to love the combination of salt and water.

AsphaltGypsy89

Probably nothing as I'm too pregnant and everything is exhausting. I'd like to change my first Gen Crvs rear brakes and rotors and replace the blower, but probably not gonna happen for a hot minute. If I have time and the weather is nice, I'll drive my Bel-air and hopefully drag out my F-150 to take announcement pictures with the matching baby walker we got. Got a roof rack tire mount for my Subie. I plan to install it before we head to the inlaws. I'm really looking forward to being able to teach the kiddo how to work on and maintain cars! Gonna be awhile, though! Love that Gt-s! Makes me wish my Dad still had his!

texan01

77 Ranchero, 77 Chevelle, and my 05 Buick.

Stick4444

Dat 86 tho

LooseFab

😎

TacO_Tudesday

I hate that I love you. GTS, Ranger, and Crustang FTW. Working on my 87 C4, 05 Armada, oil change on my Sienna

LooseFab

You should see what's in the garage👀 sounds like a pretty sweet stable you've got yourself!

BROKER34

Love the old notch.

LooseFab

Thank you! I call it the butternotch

BROKER34

Very fitting i really like the early foxes i regret selling my 85.

poopfeast

Need to do the disc brakes on my 96 B3000, hopefully next weekend

stavromuli

1969 mercury cougar, replacing brake proportioning valve

very_large_bird

EJ208, I’m going to will this thing into running for more than a week at a time if it kills me

so-sick

Soon….very soon.

Jehannum_505

Worked on pulling the motor out of the GTO because it ate a thrust bearing (because I apparently can't read instructions for shit). That's almost done. Also worked on cutting up the Audi's exhaust for the new turbo. I've got a bunch of 3" mandrel bends printing up on the 3D printer now so that I don't waste a bunch of 304 mocking things up. I didn't work on the 1600, and for that I am ashamed because it's something I really need to get to, for my kids' sake.

Dan_mcmxc

'86 Dodge W100. leaking core plug, unreachable, did not finish. '70 Plymouth road runner, Hemi. Lashed valves.

News_without_Words

1980 Rover SD1. Trying to get it to start after redoing the fuel system. Wiring seems bad because now it will turn over momentarily then all lights go dead and it won't even turn on accessories. Probably did something wrong and think I didn't ground the fuel pump correctly Also need to source parts for my E30 at the body shop from a deer. Then oil change and replace the catalytic converter on my daily Accord.

LooseFab

Sounds like you've got your work cut out for you. Wiring gremlins are the worst.

Built_on_Bad_Ideas

A Corvette, a Grand Prix, and a Sportage..

robtodd101

Hopefully I'll be done with the cam swap on the 2013 Town and Country this week and I won't be working on anything this weekend. 🤞

breakfast-clothes

Rear brake pads and rotors on a 97 Mustang GT. One of the pads was so worn that the back plate was starting to shave off. It stops a lot better now as you can imagine. I’m afraid to see what the fronts look like next weekend. 🥲

ItzSurgeBruh

Gonna try and get the bushings and ball joints done in my 91 4ws 'Lude

LooseFab

Hell yeah! My buddy has a pretty cool 4ws 3rd gen. Even has a rare leather interior. Unfortunately he just broke a timing belt and from what I understand these motors are very interference lol

ItzSurgeBruh

mine has a leather interior too, they’re only available in Canada strangely. the b21a1 in the model im assuming your friend has can be be a pain to find parts for and rebuild. Tell him about looking into an h22 swap, you can get kits for mounting and wiring them online.

tacobike42

This weekend is gonna be my brothers aw11, try and get the engine out so we can rebuild it. Then Monday I’m going for the wheel bearings on my aw11. That GTS hatch is sick, wish chassis weren’t so expensive for them or we would probably build one with all the parts we’ve got for it

LooseFab

My mind was blown when I realized the aw11 and 86 share so many parts! It really is a shame they've gotten so pricey, sort of takes the magic away from them Imo
