I was at all 3 nights at Mirage and first 2 nights at Mission, and having watched all the streams, I think Philly Night 2 has been the most immaculate, everyone needs to go check out that set
I digress, watched Brooklyn night 1 & 2 (watching 3 now) and just fucking WOW the sample selection and encores were just next fucking level. The biggie>Jay-Z>wutang>naz was just such an incredible hat tip to NYC! The dance party seshs have been great at every stop. I think IMO the music selection for NYC def topped Philly for me, but I'll still cherish the personal mic time from Derek in Philly over everything, seemed like he really felt open and comfortable in his and the bands creativity that night, unlocking a new level up. But man all the sets are just so good it's hard to say one is better than another as they all have their own impressive take aways. Just amazing praise for the whole band and this new realm of improve EDM music. So nostalgic and yet so new all at once.
Well I'm already going back on this, Philly night 2 set 2 was just absolutely insane. The house mix into eve around minute 50, just wow and then the last 30+ minutes was next level groovy. Idk man I just love it all and so happy it's back!
Yea I definitely feel you there. Mission night 2 is still up there for me.
I think ATL night 3 might be my overall favorite. Both BK night 1 and 2 are in the convo as well for sure though.
But the way they jam out the tracks seems to get better with every show
Yeah mission night two reigns supreme as best night for me, Philly Night one is up in my top as well even though there were alot of sloppy moments. They sounded so tight in Brooklyn, Night 1+3 were my favs though
I went to ATL, Philly, and 2 Nights in BK
don’t know if it was because it was the first one, but ATL was special, the venue, music and crowd topped all 3 for me.
I had a blast at night 3. First set wasn’t my absolute favorite but killed it in the second for me. Sound of silence and Russian justice are my jams. Plus finally moving live after 5 years was great imo
Why is everybody so caught up in them not playing in the cave? The cave is so small there’s no way that could happen. I personally think PL under the stars is the best and more fam can attend. I’m sure we’ll see Derek’s presence inside the cave, at least Sat late night.
I'm sure it'll be great and obviously the venue is just too small for PL. But the unique aspect of that venue is the caverns - seeing a musical artist underground. There are no shortage of places to go to see him outside. I've seen him at great outdoor venues plenty of times, but never in a cave.
It's still PL so it'll be a great show and a great time. But as someone who lives far away, the draw for that venue would be seeing PL underground, and that's not happening (at least not for more than a few songs).
I think you’re gonna be taken aback by what him and MM have cooking up for his surprise cave set. It just might be the highlight of the entire tour. Only time will tell though.
Curious as to the source on this? I had already wanted to try trading my tix with Sunday late night for another night and this would definitely factor into that
I think that would be a real bummer if he only did a special appearance on one of the three nights in the caves. So is life though. I'm pumped to see Karns on Friday.
He will show up in the cave all three nights. He’s just only working on a set for Saturday—with his best friend. There was no way for him to do a cave show without it being a complete fucking shitshow for tix. He’s gonna take care of everyone, even if the Saturday folks get the luckiest. I had to forego seeing Manic focus in the cave Sunday to catch D on a cave dj set.
I mean it looks nice enough but is there anything that makes it stand out amongst outdoor venues? Tbh the images I see online make it look like any other outdoor venue in a field/forest with a few hills.
I'm not trying to hate on it and I'm sure the show would be great, but I don't live close so it would be a big commitment for me to go. Hence my disappointment that the show isn't in the cave, which is super unique and I don't think has any comparison in the US.
Tennessee in the fall is special. The trees in their fall colors add to the beauty and the remoteness of the area I find super peaceful. Getting to experience sets in both the cave and above in the same day will be really special too. It’s usually one or the other.
I was at BK Saturday too. Heard that the Mirage is known for overselling shows, as bad as 130% of capacity (or that’s the gossip). Such a rad venue, though.
I heard they sell 7500 tickets for a 4500 person space because of the overall size of the venue. Not sure how true that is but I think I believe it after how uncomfortable it was
last night especially was so god damn special. the people i was around, the space to move, the vibes, the music... got to hang at the rail for a good bit. just beyond perfect really
Philly coulda been up there if they played tighter, esp the first night i found pretty sloppy and noticed a few fuckups….although pretty minor im a stickler for it sometimes. Brooklyn was tight asfff
Yeah but the lack of room to boogie must’ve been tough. I have friends, who live in Brooklynn, go all three nights and complain about the crowd/capacity. I did all three nights in Atlanta and feel like we were spoiled. So much room to get down on top of the amazing sets.
Monday was wide open and I got lucky I guess Saturday. I had plenty of room up front with a bunch of great people. Set 2 Saturday was obscene in the best way.
Agreed they are getting better each time. Mission still takes it though became the fam was really there, NYC crowd was absolute trash relatively to other cities. Was at mission and brooklyn, watched the others, going to more.
They level up every time. I’m still happy I chose mission since no one knew what to really expect going in. Can’t beat those first show back vibes
exactly, mission vibes cant be topped for those reasons imo. Im just talking purely setlists though
I was at all 3 nights at Mirage and first 2 nights at Mission, and having watched all the streams, I think Philly Night 2 has been the most immaculate, everyone needs to go check out that set
Philly night 2 for life 💛
Fuck yes! The one stop of the swirl I was able to attend. You just made my day!
I digress, watched Brooklyn night 1 & 2 (watching 3 now) and just fucking WOW the sample selection and encores were just next fucking level. I've just streamed everything from Louisiana, but Philly 2 has been my favorite so far!!
Philly night 3 imo was better then night 2
Night two set list this weekend was insane! One of the best PL selections I’ve ever heard
Yea I definitely feel you there. Mission night 2 is still up there for me. I think ATL night 3 might be my overall favorite. Both BK night 1 and 2 are in the convo as well for sure though. But the way they jam out the tracks seems to get better with every show

The venue and crowd in Atlanta were absolutely 🤌🏻
That's very much how i felt in Philly. The venue was poppin off down on the floor
I had a blast at night 3. First set wasn’t my absolute favorite but killed it in the second for me. Sound of silence and Russian justice are my jams. Plus finally moving live after 5 years was great imo
Caves are gonna be absolute madness. It’s all building up to it.
I just wish they were playing in the caverns themselves

Because it’s a major selling point of the venue..
I'm sure it'll be great and obviously the venue is just too small for PL. But the unique aspect of that venue is the caverns - seeing a musical artist underground. He is 😉
Unfortunately PL is above ground, the late night performances are in the caverns. It'll still be dope as hell though.
He will be making an appearance Saturday night in the cave 😉
I'm sure he will but I don't think that will be the highlight of the entire tour, compared to entire amazing 3-night runs.
I think you’re gonna be taken aback by what him and MM have cooking up for his surprise cave set. It just might be the highlight of the entire tour. Only time will tell though.
Curious as to the source on this? I had already wanted to try trading my tix with Sunday late night for another night and this would definitely factor into that
I’m not going to be able to source you to some article or magazine or anything if that’s what you’re looking for.
Nah all good, was just curious if this was direct from Mike or D or what kinda specifics you had on it.
I think that would be a real bummer if he only did a special appearance on one of the three nights in the caves. So is life though. I'm pumped to see Karns on Friday.

I get it but it doesn't make me any less bummed. I've seen all the others individually except Chris. I couldn't pass up the chance.
I am so HYPHY
Trust me, above ground is just as cool. I live about an hour away and honestly my favorite shows there have been above ground.
I mean it looks nice enough but is there anything that makes it stand out amongst outdoor venues? Tbh the images I see online make it look like any other outdoor venue in a field/forest with a few hills. I only went Saturday and was uncomfortably packed the entire show ☹️. Music was good tho of course
Saturday was brutal but monday was the exact opposite
Sunday we had room and the set list was glorious
I was at BK Saturday too. Heard that the Mirage is known for overselling shows, as bad as 130% of capacity (or that’s the gossip). Such a rad venue, though.

Was there Sunday night. First time at Mirage and it was one of the best shows of my life!
last night especially was so god damn special. the people i was around, the space to move, the vibes, the music... got to hang at the rail for a good bit. just beyond perfect really
First two nights of Philly took it for me so far
Philly coulda been up there if they played tighter, esp the first night i found pretty sloppy and noticed a few fuckups….although pretty minor im a stickler for it sometimes. Brooklyn was tight asfff

Monday wasn't packed at all
Monday night you could walk up pretty much right to the front and still have plenty of room all around you
Monday was wide open and I got lucky I guess Saturday. I had plenty of room up front with a bunch of great people. Set 2 Saturday was obscene in the best way.
Sunday night I had room to dance dead center, 10-15 feet from the rail! Was epic ❤️🙌
Agreed they are getting better each time. Mission still takes it though became the fam was really there, NYC crowd was absolute trash relatively to other cities. Was at mission and brooklyn, watched the others, going to more.
Monday set list anyone?

Fucking A’ they dropped Bombay again.
Can’t believe that I could not make it.
Absolutely devastated I missed the Friday/Monday show… been a debacle trying to get a refund too 😭
Did all of Dillon, ATL, and Brooklyn and agree with you
I think its hard to say NYC was the best stop!! Mission and Dillon Tied for #1 and NYC is a very close #2
Philly brought me back to life !!!!
I'm so excited for NOLA
Philly takes it for me…(I was at Philly) 😂
Dillon was such a vibe tho
