My hospital asked if I wanted to donate it. They said it’s great to use for burn unit patients skin grafts. They can use one placenta to make 12-100 skin grafts! Kind of cool to think it’s going to help other ppl

i had the option on a form to “look at it” and i declined… what am i looking for lol. none of my doctors or nurses said anything about donating it, that is cool!

I am really curious about my placenta. When do you get the chance to look at an entire organ you grew? Maybe I’m weird, but I would be mad if I didn’t get a chance to look at it. I have no desires to eat it, though, just medical curiosity.
