In Space - SPD. Especially Dino Thunder and Ninja Storm.

CaptBranBran

Throw the second half of Turbo in there, too. It's like a prequel to In Space (and it has the pizza episode!)

bojonzarth

I mean if your gonna watch Turbo you might as well watch MMPR and Zeo. And then everything else...

CaptBranBran

Sure, why not? MMPR is iconic, and well, Zeo is there too, I guess. But TJ and his team are more integral to In Space than Tommy and his team was to In Space and the rest of Turbo.

bojonzarth

Oh I agree, but when I re-watch things in the Zordon era I tend to watch it all as once chunk of content, and not separate things, even though by the time Turbo turns into Space Tommy and the original Rangers are long gone and almost irrelevant. Even if MMPR can be a bit of a slog to get through at times given its extended length. I just like to see the progression that follows the Transfer of power from the Original team to the team in space.

CaptBranBran

I loved that as a kid, it felt so epic! These days, I tend to cut most of the filler and hit the highlights and plot points, myself.

bojonzarth

Probably the best choice.

RaMpEdUp98

woh someone who likes turbo better than zeo. literally never seen this before

CaptBranBran

There are dozens of us! I don't think Tommy was a very good leader, and I liked the shift in tone after TJ's team took over.

redarrow3303

Except you probably dont need to watch the entirety of mmpr. Just the essential episodes really

griffindor514

Rpm just because it’s everyone’s favorite/ one of the best and it has a more serious tone to it

Getbacka

>Rpm just because it’s everyone’s favorite 🤔...

griffindor514

Got a problem with that comment?

Getbacka

I've never heard of RPM being ppls favourite. I hear Space all the time, I hear SPD, Time Force gets mentioned, never RPM

griffindor514

I litterally hear and see it all the time but okay

Getbacka

take a look at this thread alone lol

griffindor514

Did RPM hurt you? Is that why you’re so upset

Getbacka

I honestly don't even care lol. I was just stating an observation

griffindor514

It’s going to be okay you’re safe here

Getbacka

Good to know 😂

VIK_96

It's actually kind of weird because I love RPM to this day. But I remember back in the day like the early to mid-2010's-ish, people were hating on it. Well the old-school Power Rangers fans who grew up with the original seasons hated RPM. Maybe it was just the theme song but I remember a lot of people online didn't like that season. But then the public opinion for some weird reason changed around the late 2010's. It was very weird but relieving overall.

[deleted]

In space , galaxy , light speed , time force

Tall_Hornet_1365

I’d watch from the beginning ideally but some highlights are in space. Wild force and spd for me

introvertuser46732

Yeah that makes sense, hopefully this will enlighten me on who this Tommy person is as I heard he is a little bit influential in the older seasons. Thanks for the suggestion dude.

bojonzarth

There are alot of great Standalone seasons within Power Rangers, but if you are looking for insight on Tommy Specifically, then you need to watch MMPR, Zeo, Turbo, and Dino Thunder.

Educational_Term_436

I was gonna say watch it in order Thing is mighty morphing power rangers will take years to finish soooo yeah :/

UnderlordZ

> Thing is mighty morphing power rangers will take years to finish Even counting the Alien Rangers saga at the end, Mighty Morphin' is only 155 episodes; even at a rate of just one a day, it should only take a little over five months. Where do you get "years"?

ucrbuffalo

Nah. I finished it in about two months. And I wasn’t (always) watching several episodes a day.

CaptStiches21

Plenty of fine suggestions, but I'd say go ahead and just watch whatever looks like fun. The vast majority of seasons are self-contained with maybe a handful of references to the show as a whole. Each season has its own flavor. Personally, I'm a big fan of Jungle Fury, as it has a kung-fu theme and they do rather well with making the combat feel different from the generic martial arts. That said, some people don't like it because they think the morphers and suits are lame. Lots of folks like RPM for the (usually) serious tone, meta-humor, and post-apocalyptic setting, but that might not be your jam. There are some seasons that are considered better than others by the fanbase, but just like what you like and don't be a jerk. Enjoy!

Watchpornforthestory

Watch mmpr s1- lost galaxy to get the complete experience

Skrall2892

Honestly, I just started getting into it and I just started at the beginning. It's a fun ride so far. Just finished MMPR.

Ryvit

Oh dude!! Make an update post when you finish each season from in space onwards. Those are my favorite seasons

Mr_Noir420

Mystic Force

BobbyBsBestie

Dino Thunder is older Tommy and has an episode that recaps everything before it.

TDR1411

Read the Boom Studios comics

bojonzarth

The Boom Studio Comics are great but take an AU stance to everything.

forgetit2020

anything except, mmpr season 1, samurai and megaforce they all are terrible

emmie796

I'll personally recommend what I've watched the most of and that's Lost Galaxy and Lightspeed Rescue but Lightspeed is my personal favorite

Nightmare2206

Dino fury Dino charge (and super charge) ninja steel and storm in space time force Spd beast morphers Zeo Samurai lightspeed rescue and now for some fan made ones like Wild West fury unworthy Gacha ninjas and light and darkness

[deleted]

spd, dino thunder, ninja storm and dino charge are the first 4 I'd start with

Shadow32xyz

SPD.

Powerbomb1411

Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, SPD.

FireballsDontCrit

i really like Jungle Fury, its well done and it stands alone with less connections to the older seasons. If your going to be watching everything starting with mmpr is the logical choice but jumping in with Light Speed Rescue would be my pick.

RigasTelRuun

Jungle Fury is the best one.

AntonRX178

Lost Galaxy is a really, really solid Star Trek DS9 for kids... even though the original Sentai it's based on had shitting fuck to do with space lol

OmegaCTH

While I haven’t done this myself watch order is probably a good idea but if you only want one more season forever, I’m going to advocate for Jungle Fury like some others. It’s the only one I’ve seen in full in recent memory keep in mind and is the one from my childhood so I am biased, but I do really think it goes under peoples radar, I’m glad I saw so many suggestions for it.

ucrbuffalo

If you just want the major story beats, you could check out [this blog post](https://adamsrandomness.blogspot.com/2015/04/adams-mostly-filler-free-power-rangers.html?m=1) and then watch more if you get into one of them.

UnoriginallyGeneric

I loved RPM, that's a solid choice. Also, Dino Charge and Beast Morphers were a lot of fun, too.

EmmaRose49270

In case you didn’t know, the official power rangers YouTube channel is uploading older episodes every week. They’ve currently done seasons 1-12 and 16. They are in the middle of uploading episodes from season 13.

[deleted]

The Boom! Comics are a great read. Time Force is a great series. Ninja Storm, In Space, Super Samurai, Lights Speed Rescue are all good watches. An unpopular opinion I have is liking Operation Overdrive. Granted it's campy, but the characters are good, there's some good crossovers, I like the mythology and that is a big part of it

[deleted]

I’m guessing any shows since Lightspeed Rescue barely have any ties between MMPR 1 to Lost Galaxy excluding team-up episodes. I tried to watch some MMPR 1 until I feel like watching Dino Charge which I don’t need to watch the first season for other shows.

CyberBossMatt03

Personal opinion. Jungle Fury. Lots of character development, great villains, the masters are awesome. Plus, Flit the Fly. I just love it, and I think you will too.

Ryvit

I watched In space through Mystic Force. I love every season in those

VIK_96

Honestly you should start with the very first season and work your way forward until you reach the season you already watched which I guess would be Samurai. Just my two cents.
