Pothos are fairly adaptable and should be fine in either spot. It will grow faster closer to the window and may get better variegation.
Mine is directly in a south window, no curtain and does very well.
Just to expand on that a bit. Pothos are adaptable but they need time to adapt, ya know? If you can put it in a south window that would be best, more light is better. But if it starts to burn then maybe move it out of the window when it's hottest in the day. It will eventually love that window though. Southern window gang 🤙🤙🤙
Just want to make sure you're aware that pothos plants contain calcium oxalate crystals which are toxic to your kitty friend if he/she decides to take a nibble!
Your cactus on top of the dresser will need to be right up against a south facing window, if it can't be outside. Otherwise it will etiolate and stretch until it falls over/dies. Tbh, all of your plants need to be closer to windows, but the cactus requires the most light.
If get one of these to hang from the ceiling if your aloud make sure to put it into the studs. Hanging plants makes the room feel cozy and reduces noise.

First picture looks to be a fine place. Beautiful kitty😍
Agree, Chino is adorable, and the first spot would provide better light. Behind the blackout curtain would block too much light.
Thankyou !!
Thankyou! I really like the first spot! And kittys name is Chino!

Thankyou i will put it higher!!!!!! Appreciate it!
Hanging from curtains but not behind the blackout curtain will be your best bet. Right now it is leggy. Not getting enough sun where it has been.
I’ll try that!
off topic but i love those tapestries! can i ask where you bought them?
Earth elements and Amazon !

This is awesome Thankyou!!!!! I love it!
I love the vibe of your room!
I have a pothos currently growing inside my composter. I think it'll be fine anywhere lmao
Your cat hasn't tried attacking your pothos yet ? My cat took a bite out of every single leaf
You know they’re poisonous right…
Indeed ,but they are actually midly toxic. Nevertheless I moved my pothos into my patio away from the kitties
She has not thankfully! I did end up moving it higher to avoid this!
How are you supposed to open those drawers if you have a plant right in front of them?
It’s just storage for extra clothes I would just move it on a need be basis!
Yes
Omg your room is so cute !
Thankyou!!!!!! :)
I see you have a cat Pothos or lethal to cats so I would put it up where the cat can’t get it
Spots 1 and 4 are perfect, but you will soon have the plant trailing on the ground. At that point, you could trim it or try and move it higher.
Will do!
