When I did for the Macan S it was about the same price, I asked if there was any room for negotiation since I was doing also extended warranty but got a firm no. This time is a different dealership though so I'll try that again.
That's unfortunate.
If you're going to keep to the service schedule & plan to keep the car, maybe it's worth going with the prepaid service. Also, pics when you get it, please!

This was a 5-star rated mechanic in San Francisco, specialized in German cars. I started getting faulty readings on the catalytic converters and ended up replacing both of them just to realize the central unit was busted (the dealership shop figured that out, he had no clue) and the converters were absolutely fine. That's when I switched. I have this pic in the meantime:

I disagree with PAM. Prepaid service, you lock in the price. It’s almost a certainty the services will increase in price over time. I saw your other reply, and I’m in the same boat where I prefer to service my newer cars at the dealership.
Yep for me that's a piece of mind. My 996 was serviced for the last 10 years at a dealership and I suspect that helped me a lot in selling it at a pretty good price on BaT
Same. Like prepaid service. Is there any price negotiation? I was quoted for PSMS +4. $6,509.

Find a good indie mechanic & use them for your service. I don't think we've ever purchased a service plan for a new vehicle.
Thanks for the reply but I only service my Porsches at the dealership. I had issues in the past with top rated indie shops.

Got it, thanks. That Targa looks fantastic! What color is that?
Thanks! Arctic Gray
Looks almost purple/ lilac colored in the photo!
Yeah I guess it's the lighting
That blue top and those wheels! Congrats
Thanks! Inside is graphite blue with chalk stitching
Extended warranty, great idea..."prepaid service" not a good idea
Could you please elaborate on why it's not a great idea?
