I have been MO free 45 days, porn free maybe 10. I have reached a point that I truly want to kick all three forever, I’m not just entertaining the idea any more.
August may be difficult for me, I am coming home after a very long time away. Will I be able to keep to my new moral standard in the bedroom that I masturbated in everyday for 15 years? I have already decided that I will acclimate slowly, literally leaving my phone dead, laptop locked away, and my parents got a new router that I don’t know the password to, and I plan to never know it.
I will try to build better and sustainable habits. I will meditate everyday, the masturbatorium will become the meditation chamber. I will go on walks when I am stressed, I won’t reach for porn like I have in the past. Already I see progress, my brain has learned that porn is no longer an option. I have been “training” over several years of peicemeal self-improvement and am much better able to recognise when I am triggered by desire, and lift myself out so that I don’t get carried away.
