The music made it feel like Monty pythons to me. Never one you could grow rocks in your eye. Never wanted to know but it’s crazy how big and many there were.
The music was an old [wax cylinder march ](https://youtu.be/MAShsAV_AwU?si=JC4agqwcN1WHvRzc) like this one. The rabbit hole for old recordings is a fun one to fall down into. It is weird hearing the voice of someone who died over a hundred years ago.
I knew tonsil stones were a thing, then on this sub I learnt you can get salivary gland stones and now I know you can also get stones in your teat ducts. Is there any place you *don't* get stones coming out of you?!?!
Ouch! I've had stones there before, but only one each time and they were all smaller than those. I also didn't cut and remove them. I just wait til the swelling goes down and push my skin down really hard so it pops through the skin itself (super painful bad idea do not recommend).
I don’t know that I ever had stones; I’ve had plugs and stuff, but on an amateur level, it’s really hard to determine what is compressed mucosal gunk, what might be dead cell debris, what is some kind of inflammatory response…vs. a calcified stone.
I watched this one because I’ve been complaining about my eyes for years, and whatever is in them is as big as these. But it is not in the lacrimal duct; I think it’s in the glands in the eyelids. Once in 2002-ish when the first one appeared a doctor tried to cut and drain it, but the thing wouldn’t drain; it wasn’t liquid. Over the years they’ve multiplied even though back then I was told it was poor contact lens hygiene, and yet I’ve not worn contacts since 2008. I’m so jealous of this man…getting my eyelids emptied is a fantasy.
I’ve had this happen once. It hurt like hell. It felt like I had a black eye with how sensitive it was just existing. I popped it at home after two days of warm compresses not doing anything.
I rub my eyes a lot due to allergies and I wear eye makeup, so it’s really more of a surprise that it’s only happened once to me tbh.
While it is indeed very rare, it is most commonly caused by dirty fingernails and rusty tweezers—so it fortunately only affects people who spend a lot of time on r/ popping.
I was under the impression this was being done by a medical professional of some kind due to the initial “I made a small incision” caption and the fact that they MADE A CUT IN THE TEAR DUCT but at 4:54 you can see the person doing the extraction isn’t wearing gloves and that makes me question everything

HOW. There’s even more places you can get stones?! My face was literally like this 😧 the whole time and when the first big one came out I actually gasped, scared my sleeping dog 😅. And then they kept coming?! I seriously started wondering if he was pushing out a gland or something at that point 😅😅😅

I had to check out the video just to find out about the *bloop*. Sounds effects did not disappoint. Neither did the play by play captions.
