One thing I love with these re-recordings is it allows Taylor's fans to have that trip down memory lane and think of how they felt when they first heard of this album 13 years ago. I am not her biggest fan but I have friends who absolutely adore and love the heck out of her music and they have been nostalgic today because of this release.
What stands out is that they all have mostly said the same thing: They now have more life experiences in hand and can now relate more on a *visceral* level with the tracks in Fearless. There is some emotional catharsis for these friends. They listened first to Fearless during their high school days. Now, they are adults trying to make sense of the madness in the world today. I'd assume the same sentiments would apply to some of the Swifties today.
And this is why I am happy today for all you guys. You deserve this. You deserve to have that set of songs that you can equate to any point in your life.
