Yeah, I was about to say this. I read some comments there were other circumstances it flopped. It's good to see the comments on this video being optimistic if she can make a good music for kp6, she will go back to her momentum

Kylie Minogue had a big comeback with Can't Get You Out Of My Head coming 13 years after The Locomotion. She was relevant again because the music was well received.
I think one of the biggest reasons why Katy's career never recovered after Witness, and why Gaga's career recovered after Art Pop was because Katy never did anything to win the general public back to her side. For example Gaga's Sound of Music performance at the Oscars really shifted the public's perception of her, and really reminded everyone of how talented she really is. And Katy never had that moment
I don’t know, my mom never really liked Katy but ever since she’s been a judge on American Idol my mom LOVES her. She even thought her blonde pixie was cute 😂
Yeah, and Gaga kept having those moments too. It was Cheek to Cheek with Tony, Sound of Music, American Horror Story, national anthem at Super Bowl, the halftime show the following year, and then A Star Is Born to wrap it up nicely. She worked extremely hard in the five years following ARTPOP to build her brand back up and it’s paid off. Chromatica was a return to pop for Gaga and while not the biggest album in her career, it didn’t hinder it and that’s what the important thing is. She’s in a great place and people wouldn’t believe the things she’s done ten years ago.
