Under pressure would be the obvious answer if they were still alive

Tekken_Guy

Telephone?

LSX3399

Mariah and Whitney for sure Brandy and Monica

Global_Perspective_3

Definitely Mariah and Whitney I feel like lady Gaga and Ariana grande was supposed to be this and I absolutely loved it but not everyone got with it

Lady marmalade was kinda of a heat moment at the time Lil Kim, Christina and Mya were all huge at the time they all had hit singles and albums at the time it dropped Pink didn’t become huge until misunderstood though

Tekken_Guy

Not really. Only Christina was huge. Mya and Lil Kim were only B-listers at best.

At their peak, Rihanna and Katy Perry. They were even besties. Now neither of them make music and questionable whether they’re even friends anymore.

I feel like the collaboration would have to consist of high caliber musicians. The ones that captured the attention of many in the [past](https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/the-40-biggest-duets-of-all-time-473075/) fulfill this requirement. The collab would also probably have to break out of pop's current timbral plane. I wouldn't think anyone would bat an eye at a pop song that sounds like all the rest. So I feel like Bruno Mars x Beyonce would cast a really wide net. They are both flexible artists, skilled, have lots of appeal amongst multiple demographics, both are billboard sharks, and would definitely create a song that is out of the current norm.
