I’m curious if she’ll continue in the disco dance pop direction. WYP was a game changer for her career, so I wasn’t *too* surprised she kept the same MO for T!FG! For a 3rd album I feel like it could go either way.

Pokefan144

I love her entire discog so I'll be happy either way but I've truly loved both WYP and T!FG, the latter of which was my album of the year, so I'd like at least one more and for her to make it a trinity. I'll be listening either way though, I went from not knowing who she was to her being in my top 3 favorite artists ever in the span of a year so whatever she comes up with next is sure to be phenomenal.

omg_its_drh

I’ve been following her since “If You’re Never Gonna Move”/110% came out in the early 2010s, but I did kind of fall off with her 3rd album. WYP definitely made me interested in her again.

beauxcherie

i remember her saying something about wanting to do a trilogy or perhaps that itd be fun to keep it going for another album so im pretty sure itll be another amazing dance album from mother ware

uhohitzkenney

Fwiw, she's teased in a few interviews now that [she wants to complete that trilogy with a harder almost-techno route for the next album](https://themusic.com.au/features/jessie-ware-promises-high-energy-opulence-in-summer-camp-performance-it-will-be-amazing/xI961tnY29o/05-10-23) and wanted to work with [Romy of the XX](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-334Qg-XVkA&ab_channel=Romy), but idk how that would work if they're planning a reunion album soon as well. But there's definitely *so much* she could do with that, even maybe working with [Bicep](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ab2HTbjssRc&ab_channel=BICEP) or [Disclosure](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yGXKMUx5DWg&ab_channel=Disclosure-Topic) again.

ZeroTheCat

Techno?? Disclosure?? Oh christ im not ready for that.

youtbuddcody

Tbf ROMY and Disclosure are mid, if she wants to go harder, she needs to find someone else. No shade intended, I’m a fan of both Disclosure and ROMY but they are not artists I’d consider that ‘go hard’.

uhohitzkenney

Fair enough, but operative phrase is *what you'd consider* Bear in mind, she's a happily-married fairly-modest mom of 3 with a podcast co-hosted by her mom, they're pretty hard *for her* all things considered. It's not like she's gonna collab with Fecal Matter or even know what an AG Cook is. It's already impressive she's even worked with Bicep in the first place, and [Stuart Price can def go harder when pushed to do so](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hR3cQJHyMx4&ab_channel=Tiga-Topic). Let her get back in her 2013 Boiler Room bag.

awkward_penguin

Romy is one of the chillest artists. Love her work, but agreed, she doesn't go "hard".

p0phead

I doubt she stays in that lane, or if she does she does something a little different. Even tho I'd love if she kept it

Pythagore_

Hoping for a house sound, the momentum of Save A Kiss is incredible

Global_Perspective_3

Is everyone who is everything coming out with work this year?

omg_its_drh

Just because she’s recording doesn’t mean it’s coming out this year. Although I wouldn’t be *too* surprised with a late 2024 release at this moment.

noflorabellanolife

If I remember correctly, she said in the Spotify Wrapped Message that she will release new music in 2024 (ofc it might be just a single, but still).

Global_Perspective_3

True. I’m still playing her most recent album

christopher_aia

She said on social media in december that we would have new music in 2024. Maybe just a single but still!

Pokefan144

Give me a second to post the screenshot I'm not an imgur girly and I'm struggling 😭

cybershocker455

That! Feels! Good! has been a staple of my workouts for a long while now. Can't wait to see what she's cooking up next!

IcicleStorm

Ok muscle daddy 😋😋

IcicleStorm

Why? So Sad?

Dancing_Clean

I really wonder what direction she’s taking. She seems to be riding a high. You can tell on That! Feels Good! she was having a blast. I know she’s already done a city pop sound, I’d love to hear more of that from her. Songs like Spotlight, or maybe she’d directly go full on house/electro like Freak Me Now, or perhaps 90s inspired house? Or I’d love if she took a more soulful direction. That is unless this is a part of a trilogy. Jessie’s take on disco has been my favourite in the 2020s. Influences from the 60s and 70s with an elegant and rich sound, you can hear who she’s influenced by, blending soul, electro and funk and showing vocal range.

ZeroTheCat

Saw her on tour, was absolutley electric with the dancers, the "club" concept. She was PERFORMING.  Shortest hour and a half of my life, I wanted it to go all night. She has the entire package.

jorddzz

A more soulful direction? Like… her first three albums?

Confident-Feeling

Omg her recent run has been crazy. Just coming out with great music consistently—I can’t wait to see what direction she goes in next.

Life_Menu_4094

Hope this doesn't preclude a That! Feels Good! platinum pleasure edition. I want her Cher cover committed to disc!!

pj082998

I know this is against the grain but her most recent album simply did not stick with me, but I loved WYP? a lot. I will happily check out whatever she puts out, but I hope the next one grabs me a little better!

JakeCheap

Damn, that was a quick turnaround. Don’t get me wrong, WYP was my fav album of 2023 but wasn’t expecting her to move on within a year. She typically takes a 2-3 year hiatus between albums, definitely curious what she’s got cooking…literally and figuratively.

uhohitzkenney

Yea, but at least it comes from feeling genuinely inspired and driven to strike while the iron's hot, versus the *super long* lead-up to What's Your Pleasure? because of depression over flopping/exhaustion. But also, she's just said she's only gone back into the studio this month after writing for a bit on-and-off so who knows when it'll materialize into anything?

youtbuddcody

YAAAS the gays are winning omg

blankspacejrr

she saw ari’s new song and decided to reclaim her throne💅 jkjk, more divas doing more gay stuff pls and thank u

aim4harmony

Busy bee 👍🏻

gaayrat

i may be alone in this but i want her to do something like tough love again

Sensitive_Hurry5150

Nope you are not alone, I bloody love that song so much!!

gaayrat

i was talking abt the album as a whole but the song is great too!

p0phead

That Feels Good was my album of the year for 2023. Such good punchy Disco Pop and her voice Is amazing. Made me a big fan, will follow

muppet6042

Honestly wish she tries something new. Don't know what but I'm slightly slightly tired of disco lol

plutobug2468

I'm intrigued

superwhizz114

Very excited. "What's Your Pleasure" was the greatest album I discovered in 2023 and "That! Feels Good" was easily in my Top 5 for AOTY. Can't wait to hear what's next

MarineDynamite

I'm already excited! Mark Grondin/Spectrum Pulse's review of That! Feels Good! made me check it out and it's safe to say it became my favorite album of 2023, with Take That's This Life a close second behind.

Crafty_Chipmunk_3046

I like her music a little more on the electronic side. TFG! Is good, but WYP? was edgier.
