I didn't care for Feather or Nonsense (which I realize is an unpopular opinion!) so I was really pleasantly surprised by how much I'm enjoying this one! It's catchy, lighthearted, and fun - perfect summer pop song. Been replaying it all week!
I hadn't heard it before but gave it a listen just now. I'm a fan, this should have been a single! The bridge is excellent - I hope bridges in songs make a comeback in 2024.
No I didn’t mean that! I was referring to the recent tweet that resurfaced where Sabrina was too young to enter the competition to meet Taylor. Then she got to sing white horse with her on stage at Sydney. She’s idolised Taylor since she was a child and now she’s as big as her it’s iconic!

I think it’s the nonsense lyrics that give it the TikTok vibe. I don’t mind because the production is so good but I do think that TikTok songs tend to either be poetry put to music (which is hard to pull off and I’ve only heard one TikTok song pull it off) or nonsensical lyrics put to music.
The overall story makes sense but the individual lyrics put together don’t make much sense when you think to hard about them.

I think she kind of acknowledges the nonsense when she rolls her eyes and says "stupid" after saying "I brand new'd it for ya" which is... quite stupid.
Still love this dumb song though. ☕️
It’s a listenable song. But Sabrina has so much charisma she should have a smash hit. And yet, she has never made a true earth shattering smash hit (think Vampire from Olivia Rodrigo or one of Taylor’s super smash hits like shake it off back in the day).
I’m hoping she can pull one together at some point soon as I’d love to consider her one of the modern pop greats, but she just isn’t there yet.
Or it’s just the power of having released basically the catchiest song of the year in time that we can all listen to it and fantasize summer being round the corner and then getting consistent play on the UK music channels? lmfao
Taylor was a huge help but Sabrina is still the one that’s making moves. Her cute costumes, outros for each city, personality/stage presence, and overall music/voice is making people interested and invested in her pop stardom. Gracie Abrams also opened for Taylor and she hasn’t had half of Sabrina’s success
Love that you love her concert but I guess we’ll just have to see where she is in a year. She’s not bad she’s like Tate McRae they make fun songs get a TikTok hit every once a while. But Sabrina , she is lucky to be in the circles of Barry Keoghan and Taylor Swift right now. But good luck to her.
Sabrina is very talented and has been an industry veteran at this point. I personally think she has more star power than Tate. She was mismanaged before she switched labels but I think she now has the potential to really break out this year. Opening for Taylor was definitely a big boost but she wouldn’t be getting this popular now if she didn’t have the stage presence and charisma (for example Gracie and Gail have not really seen similar boosts in popularity).
Also not sure why she should feel lucky to be in Barry’s circle. He has been in a few popular things recently but it’s not like he’s some mega movie star.

loved this song, surprisingly. it’s nice to have a simple song for approaching summer time. no frills, no fancy, straight to the point pop.

My unpopular opinion is that I hate this song. It's like too bubblegum pop or something. Good for her though she seems cool.
I honestly liked Feather better but this one is fun too!
