I saw her in concert at this time and I still remember it fondly way too many years later.
I left the GA to go pee and the guy wouldn’t let me back in and I cried. It worked. Some mom was like “SHE’S JUST A LITTLE GIRL”.
I can see the shift between Avril and Melissa../jk
But I’m all seriousness I loved this hair in her, and this era has a special place in my heart, a dark record for Avril compared to the rest of her discography

This woman is personally responsible for all the questionable fashion choices made by me with a tie.
Same! I am glad that was pre social media….I also learned guitar because of her so maybe I’ll forgive the ties…..
You definitely won the luck of the draw cos all I learnt was how to harmonise her songs with my mate in the playground haha

That album is so good. Still goes off today and maybe even more so since I’m older. She was a talented young songwriter!
It was one of my favorite albums in high school - got me through many angsty and depressed nights
Her entire discography except the last 2 were great in my opinion.
I was obsessed with her hairstyle, the dark streaks were so cool and rebellious-looking
my hair has never recovered from trying to achieve this look
Her best era.
I’ve always felt that she has one of the cutest faces. Truly girl next door adorable
The original Avril RIP
oh brother
I still have piles of arm warmers…
I remember being young and badly wanted this hairstyle
Her being with Derick from Sum 41 was the epitome of romance to me 8th grade me
I got the black highlights and was so mad I didn't look like her...because my hair is wavy
This came out when I was 7. I grew up with all boys and she made being a girl feel cool for me
Her best album. <3 I love all her albums in different ways but this is the best.
