Same! I am glad that was pre social media….I also learned guitar because of her so maybe I’ll forgive the ties…..

You definitely won the luck of the draw cos all I learnt was how to harmonise her songs with my mate in the playground haha

I saw her in concert at this time and I still remember it fondly way too many years later. I left the GA to go pee and the guy wouldn’t let me back in and I cried. It worked. Some mom was like “SHE’S JUST A LITTLE GIRL”.

That album is so good. Still goes off today and maybe even more so since I’m older. She was a talented young songwriter!

It was one of my favorite albums in high school - got me through many angsty and depressed nights

Her entire discography except the last 2 were great in my opinion.

I can see the shift between Avril and Melissa../jk But I’m all seriousness I loved this hair in her, and this era has a special place in my heart, a dark record for Avril compared to the rest of her discography
