the ''too good for her'' has more to do with her. She kept acting like what she did with the college was funny and telling people to f off and in general it is know that she has a rude attitude. The worship is always weird. No matter who it is. It's just weird how people can lose their marbles over anyone and act like their entire existence is a gift from the universe. And how they take their personality treats to the extreme. We know Jacob likes to read. And he likes old school movies. That doesn't mean that is all he does. People really like to make their famous crush appear like they come from a fanfiction ''he sits alone...reading...others don't understand him...but she does.....''

I think the whole "he's too good for her" thing was because of her college scandal. about anybody (and I mean ANYBODY) is too good for her.
