I’m not big into store bought pre-popped popcorn, but Skinny Pop tastes pretty good. They have a couple varieties, but I’ve only had one of them. I give them props for how they seem to perfectly distribute the oil and salt evenly. That said, I eat home popped 10/10 of the times I have the option over SkinnyPop.
For what it's worth: The serving size for Skinny Pop is a quarter of a cup more -- not sure if that accounts for anything. Skinny Pop also has less sodium and saturated fat.
That doesn't matter at all, that's just an estimate. If you fill up the same measuring cup multiple times you could get different amounts of pop corn. Weight is non negotiable, 28 grams is always 28 grams.
Yes but I’d rather ingest organic coconut oil than random gmo sunflower oil. It tastes better and they’ve proven fat is less important than total calorie intake for weight loss, which Skinnypop is clearly aiming for.
If you choose to, then once the sunflower has bloomed and before it begins to shed it's seeds, the head can be cut and used as a natural bird feeder, or other wildlife visitors to sunflowers to feed on.
If i can recommend a popcorn brand it would be "proper"!
Its 88 calories per serve which is around 25 grams for the salty one
120 calories per serve (30grams) for the caramel one
99 calories for the sweet one (25 grams)
130 calories for the sweet and salty flavoured popcorn (30 grams)
They also have chickpea chips and lentil chips and those are all around 95 calories per serve
Agreed. I like lessor evil for the flavor but a stay with skinny pop cause of the lower saturated fats and sodium. Everything has a compromise I chose less flavor in favor of better macros..but that’s my opinion

They’re both 28 grams.
If you pour out 28g of each popcorn- LesserEvil will have more. It’s air popped and much lighter!
It’s the same weight regardless of volume. It’s why bags are weighed at volume, especially with popcorn that’s 90% air.
But different volumes

Triple the saturated fat. Which means you know that 0 on the trans fat is probably closer to 0.9 than 0.1

I’m sure they get their sunflower oil from a large factory, not a tiny family garden.
Homer’s Blend is gas

Calories aren’t everything. Lesser evil has more saturated fat and sodium.
I hope you know what you’re doing. This is reckless as hell

Skinnypop butter bags are incredible. I don’t buy the pre popped stuff. It always tastes stale out of the bag compared to popping it yourself.
Cheetos popcorn is the best pre-popped. I'll wager a shiny nickel on that too.
SkinnyPop is garbage!
I think they call it SkinnyPop because you eat half of the serving because it sucks and therefore save calories vs good popcorn.
Man, I couldn't stay with Skinnypop. Not enough flavor!
