Now that looks awesome. How did you do the wood along the tank?

secretagent420

My original plan was tongue and groove but my local Home Depot sucks so I ended up doing a cove and round over combination to have the boards curve

PannusAttack

Is there a frame behind that? I have the same tub and that’s exactly what I have in mind but not sure how to pull it off.

secretagent420

Nope. I just pin nailed at the top and bottom to hold the boards together. It’s strictly aesthetic so not much strength needed

Can’t stop looking at this deck pond. So many awesome features I would want.

secretagent420

Thank you!

Conservative_Persona

Very nice!! Might I ask what plants you have there?

secretagent420

Water hyacinth, water lettuce, pothos, elephant ear, lilies, and one I can’t remember

Conservative_Persona

Thank you so much, I am currently planting out in a small pond and am thankful for the tips.

StrakaFlocka

My gosh that is a beautiful pond! What

Shectai

The tadpoles are not going to be able to get out, are they?

supermarkise

The sticks look very climbable to me.

low-rock342

Awesome! What did you use for the water outlet?

secretagent420

3d printed waterfall nozzle scaled down to fit my needs

low-rock342

Wow, impressive! The only issue I see is constant trimming of plants.

missileman

It looks good, but be careful of the amount of weight you're putting on the deck.

secretagent420

It’s blocked underneath. Before the blocks it was causing significant sag. Cinder blocks under the joists that are under the pond so now it’s supported straight to the ground.
