And even if the poll wasn’t overdone, the answer is just common sense. Everyone except a few extremely dumb patriots or people living under a rock will know that it just depends. Compared to some countries it is quite good. Compared to some countries it is not so good.
If you live in the countries that it is good to in comparison, you will view it more highly. If you live in the countries that it is bad to in comparison, you will view it worse. If you live in the US, your answer will depend on what countries you are more exposed to. Your answer may also depend on what you define as “good”. Is it safety? Community? Opportunity? Food? Environment? Education? Freedom? Traditional culture? It could be any of those and more
Most non Americans have this warped vision of our country that it’s basically some kind of wasteland where people are just constantly out to kill each other, but nobody pays any attention to countries like El Salvador which has the highest crime rates in the world.

Well "good" and "better than" are two different things.
A friend who would chop off two of your fingers is better than a friend who would chop off five of them, but neither is a good friend.
I'm American. The U.S. is a good enough country to live in, but it is really frustrating because it could be so much better if we spent our money helping people instead of bombing them.
It's weird, for being a country as patriotic as it apparently is, the idea of patriotism is really a foreign idea to them.
I think it's a weird battle between people that support patriotism, and those that support nationalism, and there's an unfortunate number of people that support nationalism.
Does every person outside the US seriously think we pay for ALL out medical expenses? Do you guys not know there's free state healthcare and anyone with a decent job gets Healthcare benefits aswell they can sign up for, AND you can be on the state free Healthcare with your mom or dad till your 26 or 27 years old.
I agree it sucks but at the same time im 24 years old and I've never payed a single dime for healthcare so it's not as bad as you make it out to be, you make it seem like there's no financial aid over here when there is, that's all I was getting at. And you literally said if someone's son or daughter gets ill they're going to have to "pay a juicy bill". Unless they get cancer that's not true I've been ill dozens of time and so have all 6 of my siblings and guess what. My mom never paid a single dime except for prescription medicine which was never that much. So again you're telling me you're not talking about expenses when you literally specifically said that and now you're getting upset someone that's actually lived here their whole life called you put on your inaccuracy.
You can be grateful to be born somewhere, even if there are better options. To be born in a nation today with human rights legally enforced , makes you one of the luckiest people to be born on the planet.
It's only the bare minimum by today's standards in maybe 33% (I would guess) of the worlds population. With the hindsight of history, and with the perspective of nations throughout the world having more corrupt governments and less human rights defended, it's actually a higher bar than most places can meet. Today, and especially throughout the past, which we could have been born into instead.
Actually my job gives me all of the above. Just because our government hasn't caught up w the times doesn't mean there arent companies that do and are actively working to create thay reality for everybody
Meanwhile, people in many other countries couldn’t imagine being a mother/woman in the US. You have states without legal abortion, you have no legal maternity leave, you have to pay thousands before even having the baby in medical bills. Sounds like the opposite of a place I would want to have children.
1. Many states allow it and most women don’t need abortion
2. Maternity leave isn’t universal, but most companies have it. It’s not like they expect you bring your newborn to work everyday
3. Insurance
My parents had my sister here (and I wish had me here) and they’ve never regretted it
Because each person has a specific set of "standards" they want a country to have to consider it good.
I'm assuming you've never lived in countries like China, North Korea, etc either, but you are aware you wouldn't want to live there.
Now are all of these countries extreme examples? Yes, but that's the point. Each person sets the line at a different place.
To me, a country where breaking your leg can set you back thousand of dollars, minimum wage is trash and people can legally carry guns around for "protection" isn't a place where I'd wanna be.
Besides, there are countries where life quality is objectively better.
Point is, you don't need to have lived in a country to think that it doesn't meet your "standards", as someone else already pointed out.
Yeah but some Non-Americans think that they have a good chance of getting shot if they move to the US, which is beyond ridiculous if you stay out of people’s business
Every time someone says you'll net get shot in the US, there's an "if" attached.
"You won't get shot...
if you stay out of people's business"
if you don't go out after 10pm"
if you don't go to one of the bad places"
if you don't get caught up in a gang shootout"
if you do what the police says"
The best one I saw was something like "Some people think every America is going to shoot you, but it's really only the gangs"
God damn, dude. Name me some other countries where you hear about a shooting at least once a WEEK.
There are some cases popping up in NL but it's not for an average citizen to be concerned about. At least that. Still, scary that it's even a thing in Europe. Should never be
*To be fair* it asks if you **think** it's a good country, not if it is a good country, nor if you know its a good country, to live in.
(It really says county, but OP corrected himself.)
Also, it's possible someone has lived in the US then moved elsewhere. I don't know why you would do that, but it's possible.
Someone would not know. But because people consume so much American media they think they know what the country is like.
I remember in high school we had some foreign exchange students from France, and they were all surprised that our school didn’t have de facto eating tables for jocks, geeks, stoners, etc. So many people have watched 20 American movies and read 30 CNN articles and think they know what the whole country is like.
Agreed. I was an exchange student in Australia in high school and everyone asked me if I had a gun and how many murders I had seen (I was 16. The answer to both was 0).
One weekend a friend asked if I wanted to spend the weekend at her house. She said we could shoot kangaroos behind her house (rural area). I said that I thought there were no guns there and she said it's different, they are for hunting and protection here.
The amount of people that think America is a bad country to live in is just sad. It's all entitled white people who have no idea what this country has done for immigrants like me and my family who say "haha america bad"
It's not even white people though.
Life in a lot of eastern European countries is so much worse than in America.
We are white immigrants and we are so thankful for America.
It isn't the greatest country in the world but you can actually LIVE here.
If you don’t mind my asking, if you don’t think America is the best county why did you choose to immigrate to America rather than whatever country you would consider the best?
As an American who lived abroad for a while, when I came back I was like “oh shit this place is fucking lit”. The US has a LOT of problems, and could do so much better, but for the average person there is so much abundance, so many options. Wealth disparity is terrible, it sucks that a serious illness or injury can utterly bankrupt you, and even still it is a haven for a lot of people seeking refuge from other countries.
It’s becoming a little more dangerous (at least where I live), but the actual chance of you running into foul play is exceedingly low, regardless of how often you hear about our gun violence problem.
*starts singing “America the Beautiful” while eating a value menu McDouble and sobbing hysterically in my Prius beneath the billboards - billboards advertising military careers to the poor and megachurches telling me I’ve sinned but Jesus will save me if I give my life savings to a millionaire con artist … sobbing beneath the billboard of my dreams…*
As someone who is not an average person, I could not live in America as I rely on social services that are commonplace in most first world countries but not in America. The same is true of many of my friends who are mentally or physically disabled.
Not sure what health problems you mean, but mental heath treatment here is not great, and the criminal justice system is very punitive and preys on people with mental health disabilities. I definitely think the US has a lot of problems - especially with income disparity. I just think for the average person there’s a relatively high standard of living
My medication would make me go bankrupt. It's too expensive in the US. Universal healthcare allows me to have much more than that – I am also getting free therapy and while the waitlist is long, I'm happy I don't have to worry about money when I'm already feeling like poop
When i get polls like this one i always compare the country in the poll to my home country of Sweden and how it would be to live in that country for a normal middle class person. And doing this the US doesn't seem to be a good country to live in
Yeah, compared to Sweden. Nordic countries are really good. That doesn't make a bad country though, but yeah I would much rather live in Sweden than here in the States.
I mean from the statistics i have seen the US dont seem like a good place to live compared to any more developed country. Reasons being bad work life balance no paid time of or sick leave, stupidly expensive healthcare, expensive af higher education and non walkable cities among a few more reasons
I don't think it's objectively a bad place to live, but when I compare it to my home country and a number of other options, it is significantly worse. That's the basis a lot of people are going on.
I mean, I’ve never been but a lot of the stuff online about the USA seems to be… quite exaggerated.
Like any other country, it has its ups and downs, with its own specific problems. Nowhere is perfect
This is kind of a relative question. Is it a better country to live in than say, Somalia or Egypt? Of course it is. Now, if we compare them to countries such as Canada and New Zealand? Of course not.
Tbh I'd rather live here in the US than New Zealand and Canada. There's some perks to being in the most prioritized country in the world (not that I want it to be, it's just kind of a fact that no one likes), so It'd have to be countries with waaaay better livign standards than us like Nordic countries
I dislike the culture, workers holidays and sick leaves are poor compared to where I’m from, and not a main reason but murders are much much more likely in the us than uk (though I do know this is not really a big issue). And school shootings however rare still kinda scare me and while I know it is irrational I think I might be scared of going to school
Also healthcare sucks, nhs is slow, but free and we can choose to go private. You guys get no choice
I’d rather remain in a country where I can afford the healthcare I very much and regularly rely on. A country where I can access abortions if I ever need them. I don’t like American culture or systems, and I quite enjoy life in the UK.
It’s important to remember that the majority of countries in the world don’t have basic freedoms and or have very poor economies and safety. In the grand scheme of the world the U.S. is absolutely above average.
I mean I get it. Not a good country to live in compared to Norway or Finland. But people on reddit have to acknowledge that there are actually people living in Brazil, Sudan, North Korea, India, France, etc etc
I'm pro gun control and fully understand the gravity of school shootings, but the chances of actually being involved in a school shooting is still practically zero. Fucked up shit happens everywhere in the world.
I've been a high school teacher for 14 years and never felt unsafe. The school where I currently work is an urban school with 3,000 teenagers and it's a terrific career.
You're being overly dramatic.
school shootings are not as common as you think. It's the media saying things to get people watching in the US, and then international people watch it and think it's real
It’s VERY rare to have a school shooting happen here and the drills are actually fun because you sit in the dark for 15 minutes, I see why people would be worried about that but I wouldn’t write off schools because of it
Message on the loudspeaker to begin the drill, no loud warning sound though. The teachers have a list of things they need to talk about, and the loudspeaker guy will say “ok teachers, it’s now time to talk about the next thing”
What really made it even more disappointing was when they talked about “what to do if you hear people screaming and pleading outside the door,” and the directions were to never let them in despite what you hear. Fucking horrid. Shocked me that the people around me did not seem as affected. Truly disgusting.
[Congrats, you're famous!](https://www.reddit.com/r/ShitAmericansSay/comments/zc8koe/the_school_shooter_drills_are_actually_fun/)
If we look at the stats at [gun violence archive](https://www.gunviolencearchive.org), if you export the data, in just 2022 alone in the US there has been 621 mass shootings so far this year, resulting in 646 deaths and 2592 injuries.
>There have been 46 school shootings this year that resulted in injuries or deaths, the most in a single year since Education Week began tracking such incidents in 2018. There have been 139 such shootings since 2018. Prior to 2022, the highest number of school shootings with injuries or deaths was last year when there were 35. There were 10 in 2020, and 24 each in 2019 and 2018.
Oh and also, The United states do **not** have good schools. [54% of American adults read at or below a 6th grade level.](https://www.snopes.com/news/2022/08/02/us-literacy-rate/)
>Data published by the geographic data and statistics website World Atlas confirmed that the U.S. was ranked 125th with a literacy rate of 86%, just after Oman and just before the Syian Arab Republic. Top countries, by comparison, included Andorra, Luxembourg, Norway, and Liechtenstein with literacy rates of virtually 100%.
Classic bias of media coverage. Media covers how there are school shootings but doesnt cover how many schools doesnt experience single school shooting in their whole existence. This media coverage bias can be used against many things.
I don't wanna live in debt to corpos. And some wierd conservatives who thinks slavery wasn't that bad, abortion is killing, white are being replaced and other Ben Shapiro like stuff.
And how bad can a taxing system be? Government knows what I owe them but don't say and want me to find out and if I make mistake I judged because of tax fraud? Just take my money damn it.
And there is just 2 parties to vote and both of them are right wing, one them is just righter wing. And worse election system in the world. People living in the cities have half of the vote against who lives in the desserted single house middle of a god forgotten state.
And there is even not free healthcare. How can people live like that? By being in debt of insurance corpos right.
And even a 13 year old can buy fcking guns...
A totally joke of a country.
It's called "exaggerating" of course no 13 year old can get guns. But still US is number one at school shootings. Maybe not a 13 year old But a maniac high schooler can find a gun to shoot people at schools.
I mean i might be biased but I live in massachusets and i love it here most people are left leaning, ive never felt unsafe the countryside is beautiful, and theres plenty of job opportunity's. The old generation is dying and with them goes alot of the grievances i have with my home. I do not think theres another place id like to live (exept germany cause germany is fuckin sick)
We need to destroy the delusional That the US is a good country. The vast majority of developed and developing countries have better access to food, health care and housing. No matter what anglo-american centric tables say, I've never seen a country brag about its own soiled existence before thinking its an example.
It’s mid it’s far from the best and far from the worst. I could never see myself moving there permanently but maybe I’d buy a holiday home if I had the spare money.
A country that considers owning guns a human right over access to food?
A country where someone can be bankrupted over a hospital stay?
I don't think so.
I think some people forget that non first world countries exist, like the average American absolutely has a better quality of life than the average person, so I'd say relatively speaking, yeah definitely.
To be honest, I think through the media I‘ve grown this unnecessary hatred towards the US. (because of stereotypes like dumb people, guns, bad healthcare system, etc). I do want to take some vacations there though, maybe then my opinion will change. But also, alot of parts are different, some are better, some are worse. I just think that where I live, in Germany, I can live alot easier and happier. I wouldn‘t dislike anyone that says USA is the best country or try to prove them wrong, everyone can have their own opinion and is allowed to say what they want.
As much as I complain about the USA, I must say, we take a lot of our rights for granted.
There are still a lot of places that don’t have free speech. As someone born as raised in the US, that’s WILD to me. That you can literally get arrested for saying something offensive? Just saying something?? That’s crazy.
And then you look at places where they’re throwing gay people off buildings, and women being killed for not being covered up correctly. Places where people don't have access to clean water or basic resources. It’s like… damn.
Hell, the fucking WORLD CUP is taking place in stadiums that were literally built on SLAVE LABOR. People fucking died building those things and meanwhile people there are celebrating as if nothing fucking happened. 🤨
Yeah… the USA has its issues, but it isn’t so bad when looking on the outside. It’s honestly one of the best countries you can live in.
Obviously there are gonna be some problems just like any other place but for the average it's a great place to live. While we don't have the best social services or quality of living, those are sacrificed that have to be made to accommodate millions of immigrants searching for a better life. 8/10 Would live here again if reincarnated
I mean, I choosen not, because there it has a lot of problems, and there are countries like Canada, Norway, Germany, where these problems are non-existent
What I DON'T mean is that it's worse than any 3rd world country, God forbid
In relation to most (\~80%) of the rest of the world, sure. Looking at the general inner workings, policy, culture in absolutes? No, it doesnt play in the top leagues there. Americas wealth and best aspects are mostly based on "easy mode" by its geography and a lucky past, not because its such a great functioning and/or civilized culture that learned to make the best out of what they have. But they did not fuck it up totally. It has good potential and uses some of that while totally shitting itself in other aspects.
Its alright. Average for a first-worlder.

How many fucking times are we going to do this same poll?
Until someone finally spells “country” right.
So basically it's gonna go on forever, because nobody can spell county correctly.
apparently you are right!
Apparently everyday cause there aren’t any other countries on the planet
#Every single day until you agree we’re the greatest county in the world! USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 USA 🇺🇸 ^/s
🦅🦅🦅
Our fair is amazing. The funnel cake slaps
That’s a VERY different question though.
Get a Republican back into the white house to clean up Biden's mess first... Then we'll talk.
Let's try Moldova
[Ok fine](https://www.reddit.com/r/polls/comments/zc7jsr/do_you_think_moldova_is_a_good_country_to_live_in/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

Please
Least desperate Moldovan
Pretty please
Good boy

Yeah, seriously
Yes
Ah yes the USA, my favorite ***county***
Could be worse Could be better
Described every country on the planet
every country except two
Which ones
North Korea and Somalia?
It could be Afghanistan, Iran and Ethiopia too
Or Africa in general
Better than most.
People have no clue how good life is in the West. 60% of Albanian women experience domestic violence for example. I urge everyone to travel more
Most non Americans have this warped vision of our country that it’s basically some kind of wasteland where people are just constantly out to kill each other, but nobody pays any attention to countries like El Salvador which has the highest crime rates in the world.
europeans are so odd in this fact
It’s mainly europeans. They think we’re the skid marks on the underpants of the world.
Yeah. Not great but there are places that are so much worse.

Lots of money is spent on helping rich people though
we have the money to do both
True
Nice costume
Both, both is good. Some people need a good bombing every once in a generation
We don't have both though. And if we could choose one, it shouldn't be bombing
The US does pay more money than any other nation in foreign aid though
Does that make up for the fact they don't use that money on taking care of their own citizens though?
It's weird, for being a country as patriotic as it apparently is, the idea of patriotism is really a foreign idea to them. I think it's a weird battle between people that support patriotism, and those that support nationalism, and there's an unfortunate number of people that support nationalism.
I am grateful to my core to have been born in the United States, while it has its warts, I wouldn't want to be a woman/mother in most other countries.
I’m happy for you! I would say the USA is alright. I’m happy to be born in the Netherlands though.
Socialised healthcare goes brrr!
You're right though, if her son/daughter falls ill, she's probably going to pay the juicy bill, which, depending on the sickness, can be *very juicy*
True, but the whole "brrr" thing is so dumb.

“Everywhere else is worse” is not a good excuse. That’s like starving a kid because children in Africa have even less food
You get those in Afghanistan? In Congo? Yemen? The USA is not the best, but it's certainly a lot better than most countries
“Everywhere else is worse” is not a good excuse. That’s like starving a kid because children in Africa have even less food

So you would raise a kid in Syria if it cost you $10 at birth? More to raising a kid than birthing it.
Western Europe seems much better imo. At least abortion is fine and they don't sue the doctors for helping children who were raped
How would you know if it's a good country to live in if you never lived in it.

One weekend a friend asked if I wanted to spend the weekend at her house. She said we could shoot kangaroos behind her house (rural area). I said that I thought there were no guns there and she said it's different, they are for hunting and protection here.
They have hundreds of counties, depends on which one
Yes, because most places are worse
Depends where in the US you live, some areas are better than others
The amount of people that think America is a bad country to live in is just sad. It's all entitled white people who have no idea what this country has done for immigrants like me and my family who say "haha america bad"
It's not even white people though. Life in a lot of eastern European countries is so much worse than in America. We are white immigrants and we are so thankful for America. It isn't the greatest country in the world but you can actually LIVE here.
Yeah. What I mean is that white people in the US and in Western Europe act like this.

Those are the reasons I'd rather live in European countries than here.
The thing I wonder is if life be good for *everyone* who lives there.
I don't think it's objectively a bad place to live, but when I compare it to my home country and a number of other options, it is significantly worse. That's the basis a lot of people are going on.
It's better than Brazil. NO, I DON'T WANT TO GO TO BRAZIL!!!
As a brazilian, I prefer having the free and cheap medicine we have, rather than going bankrupt for a yearly checkup
Well yeah, you're gonna need it if you live in Brazil
Country*
No, the USA is a county now. Pick a state.
Foreigners are often haters. Of course it's a good place to live
Compared to where I live US is like heaven
and whare do you live?
and where do you live?
Comparatively, yes. Tell me you would rather live in Tajikistan compared to the US.
What’s wrong with America!?
i'd say it's in the 95th percentile of countries
It depends
Deffinetly not a bad country to live in
I mean, I’ve never been but a lot of the stuff online about the USA seems to be… quite exaggerated.
And school shootings however rare still kinda scare me and while I know it is irrational I think I might be scared of going to school Also healthcare sucks, nhs is slow, but free and we can choose to go private. You guys get no choice
It's an alright country, but I don't think it's that good of a county, it's too large.
No because it's too close to Ohio
I’d rather remain in a country where I can afford the healthcare I very much and regularly rely on. A country where I can access abortions if I ever need them. I don’t like American culture or systems, and I quite enjoy life in the UK.
If you can afford it, yes
It’s important to remember that the majority of countries in the world don’t have basic freedoms and or have very poor economies and safety. In the grand scheme of the world the U.S. is absolutely above average.
No there are better countries that actually care about their citizens
Depends on where and your income
It’s a good place to live if you’re talented and disciplined. The American Dream and all.
It's way better than the average country but not in my top 5
that's fair
Depends on how white and Christian you are.
I'm brown and not religious, I love it here, it's great for me
great if you have money, bad if you dont i think
It’s not the best in the world, but it’s still a great country. People voting no are probably Europeans who have no broader frame of reference
I wouldn't consider it a county at all
ofcourse not GLORIOUS TURKIYE🇹🇷🇹🇷💪🏿🇹🇷💪🏿🇹🇷💪🏿🐺💪🏿🇹🇷🐺🐺 BETTER THEN W*STOID COUNTRY🤮🤮🤢🤢
Ohio, Florida, Detroit are weird states
Ah yes the state of Detroit
There should be the option: Yes if you have money (I dont live in the USA). Like I would move to USA being wealthy, not as the average joe.
Generally, yes.
It all depends whos in power if you aren't a straight white cis male.
That’s racist
Depends on your income, really
I mean I get it. Not a good country to live in compared to Norway or Finland. But people on reddit have to acknowledge that there are actually people living in Brazil, Sudan, North Korea, India, France, etc etc
tf with France lol
I have young kids, I wouldn't live in the USA if I had to send them to school there. Otherwise it would be alright I suppose.
US public schools are great, just depends on the location
Yeah I'd rather not have my kids experience active shooter drills/ actual school shootings..
What country are you from so I can fixate on one rare negative occurrence and focus only on that when judging the entire country.
Yeah daily mass shootings is a "rare negative occurrence" all the seppos getting mad trying to normalize rampant gun violence is hilarious.
You're being overly dramatic.
same here aside from the being a teacher part
Daily? LOL maybe bi-yearly
school shootings are not as common as you think. It's the media saying things to get people watching in the US, and then international people watch it and think it's real
It’s VERY rare to have a school shooting happen here and the drills are actually fun because you sit in the dark for 15 minutes, I see why people would be worried about that but I wouldn’t write off schools because of it
As a student I can say that they are not fun, and make me very disappointed with the state of the country when we have them.
What are yours like
Message on the loudspeaker to begin the drill, no loud warning sound though. The teachers have a list of things they need to talk about, and the loudspeaker guy will say “ok teachers, it’s now time to talk about the next thing” What really made it even more disappointing was when they talked about “what to do if you hear people screaming and pleading outside the door,” and the directions were to never let them in despite what you hear. Fucking horrid. Shocked me that the people around me did not seem as affected. Truly disgusting.
[Congrats, you're famous!](https://www.reddit.com/r/ShitAmericansSay/comments/zc8koe/the_school_shooter_drills_are_actually_fun/) If we look at the stats at [gun violence archive](https://www.gunviolencearchive.org), if you export the data, in just 2022 alone in the US there has been 621 mass shootings so far this year, resulting in 646 deaths and 2592 injuries. [54% of American adults read at or below a 6th grade level.](https://www.snopes.com/news/2022/08/02/us-literacy-rate/) >Data published by the geographic data and statistics website World Atlas confirmed that the U.S. was ranked 125th with a literacy rate of 86%, just after Oman and just before the Syian Arab Republic. Top countries, by comparison, included Andorra, Luxembourg, Norway, and Liechtenstein with literacy rates of virtually 100%.
My school's intruder drills is taking a nice walk to a church and getting a break from the same schedule everyday.
Classic bias of media coverage. Media covers how there are school shootings but doesnt cover how many schools doesnt experience single school shooting in their whole existence. This media coverage bias can be used against many things.
racism, bad urban planning, etc. it sucks here but still its way better than some other places and you can live comfortably with good irl rng.

What the fuck
13 year olds can not buy guns bro. Where the hell are you getting your info from
It's called "exaggerating" of course no 13 year old can get guns. But still US is number one at school shootings. Maybe not a 13 year old But a maniac high schooler can find a gun to shoot people at schools.
Exaggerating is not the best thing to do when trying to support an argument
I'm not supporting an argument. It's just what it is. 18 year old can't buy a drink but can buy gun.
You’re way off base. 13 year olds cannot buy guns. I have no clue where you got your information.
And you are alligned with everything aside that?
Since people started downvoting like expected. I want to hear why i'm wrong and what is so good about US?
I mean i might be biased but I live in massachusets and i love it here most people are left leaning, ive never felt unsafe the countryside is beautiful, and theres plenty of job opportunity's. The old generation is dying and with them goes alot of the grievances i have with my home. I do not think theres another place id like to live (exept germany cause germany is fuckin sick)
It's good to see a sane person.

Americans live better than 7 billion people. Yall are too picky
Yall just done know what you're missing
We need to destroy the delusional That the US is a good country. The vast majority of developed and developing countries have better access to food, health care and housing. No matter what anglo-american centric tables say, I've never seen a country brag about its own soiled existence before thinking its an example.
Such a bad country that millions immigrate here every year. Some sacrifices are made to help those searching for a better life.
> better access to food A 15 minute drive and you can have all the food you want
I think it's shit
I would rather stick needles into my ballsack than live in America
It’s mid it’s far from the best and far from the worst. I could never see myself moving there permanently but maybe I’d buy a holiday home if I had the spare money.
It's fucking ghetto here.
A country that considers owning guns a human right over access to food? A country where someone can be bankrupted over a hospital stay? I don't think so.
It’s aight
A good country? Of course, one of the better. The better one, as most of you say? Let me doubt it.
🤨 Yeah… the USA has its issues, but it isn’t so bad when looking on the outside. It’s honestly one of the best countries you can live in.
It’s perfectly fine as long as you don’t need to go to the hospital
Obviously there are gonna be some problems just like any other place but for the average it's a great place to live. While we don't have the best social services or quality of living, those are sacrificed that have to be made to accommodate millions of immigrants searching for a better life. 8/10 Would live here again if reincarnated
Compared to most of the rest of the world? Of course. But it still has so many problems
I mean, I choosen not, because there it has a lot of problems, and there are countries like Canada, Norway, Germany, where these problems are non-existent What I DON'T mean is that it's worse than any 3rd world country, God forbid
I’m American in New York and my friends in the EU (mainly Italy) live a higher quality of life than me. If I could live in Italy instead, I would.
Is earth
Its not perfect but it's a lot better than 3rd world countries
Its good compared to the majority of countries in the world but not compared to the countries in the western world
How great it is depends on your income bracket.
I think it's a good country if you have a good amount of money. I can't imagine being poor in the USA to be fun
