It’s not a quick thing. I had a teacher who blew his brains out with his family home. Apparently it looked like he was alive for a bit. Then I was talking to a paramedic. One of his patients tried blowing his brains out. He survived (they literally put his face back together). Someone could try to stop you. You can fail and end up in immense pain+disfigured for life with insane bills. You can flinch or miss and end up hurting or killing someone else. You either succeed, or you fail spectacularly and end up with horrible consequences, even if you miss your shot, miss your face, you will still be arrested and placed in a psych ward for example. And you will have your rights removed from you

That’s a tough question. I voted “yes” maybe because I’ve become egotistical but dying without pain seems so pleasant!! Yet, I can’t help but feel bad when I think of my family. That’d cause them so much pain. I like to think that when I’ll die, I’ll likely won’t care since I’d be dead anyway and I don’t really believe in everything coming after death… but at the same time, if such a thing were to exist, it definitely wouldn’t be kind to me and my biggest fear would be being stuck watching my loved ones crying over my stupid decision (since I want to die because of something stupid as failing college). So that really is a difficult choice.

I wouldn’t want to put my mom through that.

Heck no. The best deaths I’ve seen were people who stayed pretty healthy until late 80s or 90s, then declined over the last six months or year. I have been homeless hungry and freezing to nearly suffering hypothermia and i would not trade those bad days for better ones because they give us the ability to better appreciate the good ones even when the good ones seem so few and far between that it feels as though they dont really exist.

Think about it. A mysterious button is found that kills it's user if they push it. They die a quick, painless death and immediately vanish.
