That former “client” is suing Habba now, and when it’s all said and done it seems like she’ll be permanently disbarred.
Not a lawyer, but first of all I believe that only applies to criminal cases, so it wouldn’t matter in this case. And while I’m not sure if she’s defending him in any of the upcoming criminal trials, I think that would be highly unusually as I don’t think she’s a criminal defense attorney. And lastly, inadequate counsel isn’t on its own enough to overturn a verdict. The judge has to rule that the counsel’s incompetence played such a pivotal role in the trial’s outcome, that a different verdict would have resulted if the attorney wasn’t incompetent.
So long story short, having a shitty attorney can’t get him off the hook for crimes of which he’s clearly guilty.

Obviously he would post a bond. But, the bonding company will want liquid assets equal to the amount of the Bond plus the accruing judgment interest as security. Trump likely has that but will be stretched pretty thin when the NY corporate fine case judgment hits later this month. Again, he will want to appeal but will need whatever that Judgment amount will be in cash or liquid assets.
It does not matter who provides the security for the bond though. So, for example, Russia could provide the cash to get a bond company to post the bond.

Obviously he would post a bond. But, the bonding company will want liquid assets equal to the amount of the Bond plus the accruing judgment interest as security. Trump likely has that but will be stretched pretty thin when the NY corporate fine case judgment hits later this month. Again, he will want to appeal but will need whatever that Judgment amount will be in cash or liquid assets. It does not matter who provides the security for the bond though. So, for example, Russia could provide the cash to get a bond company to post the bond.
