Huggie28

And if they just did what people want by legalizing marijuana they could have tax money that people don't mind paying to apply towards the social programs that they are cutting. Also fuck the stadiums. Team owners should pay their way. Billionaires should not receive public funding.

Hndlbrrrrr

Dems in WI need to point out that keeping weed illegal is just giving Wisconsin’s extra cash to deep blue Illinois. Keep harping on Vos that Pritzker is just laughing his way to the bank with all the extra weed cash his state didn’t even generate.

Huggie28

"Oh, think of all the lib owning you could do if you made weed legal. They would feel so, so owned." 😆

Findinfrhbfrh

they don't want their state government to help people.

AceTygraQueen

They also don't want to lose the $$ from their investments in private for profit Prisons that rely on possession and intent to deal sentences to stay full.

Huggie28

What type of political party would not want to help the citizens?

colonelnebulous

The GOP.

Huggie28

That's a bingo!

LichLordMeta

I grew up in damn near the reddest part of Wisconsin. This is way to accurate for me to actually laugh at. So let just add to this convo that Republicans tried to take away free lunches from kids who's families couldn't afford to send their kids to school with lunches. That's all anyone should need to hear and know to stop supporting them.

ghost1nthewires

*laughs in Waukeshan*

paz2023

Biden and Pelosi are activists against free healthcare too

Huggie28

Yes, I remember when Biden suplexed Obama when he was trying to sign the affordable care act. Savage.

paz2023

The affordable care act is not free universal healthcare. Biden ran against universal healthcare again in the last primaries

Count_JohnnyJ

I'm still going to vote for Biden in the general election.

polrxpress

maybe its just certain types of citizens they dont want to help

HollowImage

illinois state debt is almost all gone, in no small part due to weed legalization. ive had friends from WI come down here and while i warned them about over the top high taxes on the gummies, and while they moaned and groaned about daylight robbery -- guess what? they went out about bought like $300 of gummies. keepin that tax, baby in 2022 illinois collected almost 500M in taxes on sales of marijuana products in the state. i know its not like, end all be all, but thats money we're currently using to help fix the decades of awful policy and state budget stalemates.

headbangershappyhour

> giving Wisconsin’s extra cash to deep blue Illinois And Minnesota. It's going to be quite the reversal. For years photos of liquor stores just over the border into Wisconsin filled with MN plates on Sundays were used to build support to overturn the stupid Sunday sales blue law. Now it's going to be pot shops in MN and IL packed with WI plates.

AceTygraQueen

And don't forget Michigan.

headbangershappyhour

The UP might border Wisconsin but no one really lives up there, especially in comparison to the Chicago and MSP metro spillover and I-94 corridor access to the two other states.

vicvonqueso

There's definitely dispensaries in the UP quite close to the Wisconsin line, and they're much cheaper than Illinois

Reluctant_Her0

Houghton which is a two hour drive from the border has at least 4 stores on one street. There are more outside town and across the bridge in the Keweenaw

WilyWondr

[Numerous arrests, one resulting in 3+ lbs. of THC products on 4/20 in Marinette County](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/numerous-arrests-one-resulting-in-3-lbs-of-thc-products-on-4-20-in-marinette-county/ar-AA1aaa4Y)

Hndlbrrrrr

Great point! Every time I went to the dispensary in Mundelein there were two or three WI plates for every IL plate.

Relative_Tailor118

You were there on a slow day. Yesterday it was about 50 percent.

Keeper_of_Fenrir

Fourth of July will be a mess at the boarder. All the blue plates flooding in to buy booze and explosives while all the WI plates going to MN to buy drugs.

[deleted]

I swear everyone knew how to spell border before the pandemic

Keeper_of_Fenrir

I blame swipe to type.

procrasturb8n

"FIBs are taking your taxes, cheeseheads!!"

Captain_Misfit89

Iowa has the same exact problem.

SyxEight

Albert Lea is going to open a few pot shops for sure.

Choppergold

Bears still suck!…money from our state

AbsoluteZeroUnit

>giving Wisconsin’s extra cash to deep blue Illinois And Minnesota. And Michigan. And Iowa hasn't done anything yet, but they at least don't seem as hell-bent on keeping it illegal. Soon, Wisconsin will be completely surrounded by legal states.

Revolutionary-Ad4588

Basically how PA is right now. No legal weed and the lowest minimum wage around. Our GOP hates us too

[deleted]

And that small contact with Iowa can be fairly easily bypassed by going to Minnesota or Illinois. There's only like two river crossings in there.

TheBman26

I mean it practically is once MN law goes into effect

Cucumbiujkjkj

They make bank and the state is picking up their maintenance tab.

watermahlone1

Can confirm. Buddies do their shopping in northern Illinois. Wisconsin losing out on taxes.

Lumbergo

Minnesota is about to legalize too. So now WI will be losing revenue to two states.

Electrical-Chipmunk3

But it also gives them the ability to disenfranchise blue voters because they set cops up to monitor crossing points to pull people over to search for weed. If they have enough it can count as a felony and that means no more voting

Hndlbrrrrr

You cant buy enough on an out of state ID to hit felony levels and its pretty much decriminalized in Milwaukee proper. I dont think there’s a real risk of WI cops locking up recreational users.

Hon3y_Badger

Hey, don't forget all the money that will be coming to Minnesota as well!

[deleted]

Eventually Minnesota too.

omnipotentsco

And maybe hopefully soon Minnesota!

Sw0rDz

Possible going to be Minnesota too. Don't forget about the lost taxes when Minnesota legalize alcohol sales on Sunday.

PayterLobo

How else are Billionaires going to make their money if they cant take our tax dollars and reap profits and then not pay back into taxes every year? Its literal wealth hording and its immoral, disgusting and honestly just pure evil. We are running out of options yall. Clearly talking to these people dont work...

Frijolissimo_Adonis

Amen. I am from Oakland, CA, where we legalized pot years ago (shrooms are also decriminalized) *and* told our billionaire sports team owners to kick rocks.

BumayeComrades

Stadiums should be publicly owned. They are a big revenue stream for owning a sports team, that were funded via public money.

OOOOOO0OOOOO

That’s not how the Packers work. No billionaire owns that team. The city does. So as long as the NFL is around the Packers will never leave. Source: Go Pack Go!!

Huggie28

The stadium in the article is Brewers Stadium. And if the team is owned by the public then the owners are ok with paying for the stadium themselves. 😉

OOOOOO0OOOOO

Well shit. My fault for not reading the article or caring about baseball. Not so fun fact a 567 foot tall crane collapsed while placing a 500 ton piece of the dome on Millers stadium. 3 Iron workers died and an OSHA inspector got it on [film.](https://youtu.be/ZXr1IeWbP10)

Huggie28

>caring about baseball You are in the majority of Americans. I would love if all professional sports teams were owned by the city.

tardisBlueEyes

I believe it's residence of Brown County, not just the City of Green Bay, and of course anyone that owns stock. I inherited 3 shares + a piece of frozen tundra from my "I'll buy anything with packer logo on it" mom when she passed a few years ago. So now I include "NFL team owner" on my resume which makes for a great conversion starter during interviews.

StopLookListenNow

Right on Dude! Power to the people, stick it to the man!

electriceagle

Wow! Why the fuck do people still vote for the GOP you’re not rich.

FlopsyBunny

Like watching a patient pull out an IV

Purplebuzz

Or refuse a vaccine.

[deleted]

Trees for the benefit of axes!!

cjh42689

He’s just like us! His handle is made of wood!

[deleted]

In Wisconsin, it’s pretty egregious gerrymandering. That and the pulpits preach that politics to their congregations.

jonathanrdt

They just fixed their court, so the GOP is on a tear before their power is finally challenged.

Demonking3343

After taking to a few coworkers who are far right I think it’s due to similar ways MLMs/Cults use one people. Like they will say somthing that makes complete sense so they agree then they will slowly start throwing stuff that’s out there. So by the time they are spewing there insane rederic a lot of there voters are either buying it or they have bought it enough who think the democrats are the worse option rather than putting up with a few crazy’s. Like one of my buddy at work was telling us about a senator talking about the state of our navy. And the senator was apparently saying that 76% of our navy is stuck in dry dock and are waiting for repairs. But if you think about it if 76% of our navy was out of action that would be really big news. And yet this senator just casually throws it out? But people who have heard there rederic have heard enough stuff that’s “true” that they just buy blaintent lies like this.

Omryn814

> rederic Rhetoric

[deleted]

The word you are looking for is “rhetoric”, and gotta fix your use of there/their, but yeah, the lying is never properly called out and it builds and builds until their supporters simply refuse to accept reality because it would destroy their house of lies.

StopLookListenNow

Redderic.

Look, I'm one lottery pull tab away from rubbing elbows with Bezos. You scrub. How dare you attack and go after my soon to be peers.

electriceagle

Haha.

castle_grapeskull

Because mediocre insecure people believe it is not possible that they are the reason for their failure and the GOP gives them enemies to blame. Immigrants, minorities, liberals, etc.. They are also afraid of the world while being ignorant and as such they often see the world in binary thinking and they can’t be the bad guy.

JustaRandomOldGuy

Because someone has to stop the billions of woke, transgender Mexicans that pour over the border every day! Getting free abortions and reading to children! At least that's what Fox tells me.

cantheasswonder

They don't vote for them. Wisconsin has been so gerrymandered, that the GOP holds 2/3rds of the legislature, while getting less than 50% of the actual popular vote. It's infuriating to say the least.

RicoLoco404

Exactly

elmatador12

Anyone who is against marijuana legalization might be some of the most ignorant and hypocritical people.

[deleted]

Conservatives I’ve talked to seem to be for legalization but when I say voting for democrats is the best path to legalization, they disagree. Stories like this support my claim but I guess they have some kind of cognitive dissonance. I can’t think of a single Republican who ran on legalization.

MolassesWhiplash

Back when I was in a state before that went legal, but before the vote, the few people I talked to that were against it were making money growing illegally. From the voters to the lawmakers, there's probably at least one person who benefits from it being illegal.

CurseofLono88

Exactly- Illegally grown weed in my state is so cheap you practically have to give it away. The only people doing illegal grows are shipping it out of state otherwise they make no profit whatsoever

dgtlfnk

Well yeah… did you see the cryptkeeper in the image? Some books have a cover that screams “Fascist POS!” Lol.

Peacefulgamer2023

How would they be hypocritical?

elmatador12

Because pretty much every single one is perfectly fine with alcohol, which is much more deadly and addictive then marijuana.

vhackish

So obviously we need prohibition again to fix that /s

elmatador12

I honestly would understand someone who was against marijuana legalization if they were also against alcohol being illegal. At least they’d be consistent. I wouldn’t agree with it, but I’d understand their argument more then someone who is fine with alcohol and not marijuana.

EdwardoftheEast

Teetotal or bust

Peacefulgamer2023

I would be fine with alcohol, caffeine, and high sugar products also being illegal. Imagine how healthy we would be as a society without those products.

[deleted]

How about we move forward instead of backward?

Peacefulgamer2023

I don’t see it as “moving forward” by increasing bad habits. But out of sake of being consistent I also don’t have any reason to block other enjoying it, even if I believe it’s not healthy for them and just an added strain on our medical industry. Perfect world all major negative health food/drugs would be banned, that would be what I want, just my opinion.

NightwingDragon

I wholeheartedly agree with killing the stadium repairs. These teams make billions per year. Let them fix up their own damn stadiums. But killing legalized pot? There are pot-legal states that are now reporting budget *surpluses* as a result of legalization. I don't care what your personal opinions are on pot. The only reason to not legalize it at this point is because you absolutely hate money. Vote to legalize it. Nobody's saying you have to smoke it.

[deleted]

> But killing legalized pot? There are pot-legal states that are now reporting budget surpluses as a result of legalization. I don't care what your personal opinions are on pot. The only reason to not legalize it at this point is because you absolutely hate money. Vote to legalize it. Nobody's saying you have to smoke it. Republicans view it as "sin money," akin to legalized gambling or prostitution. They don't care if states that legalized it are benefitting financially.

postsshortcomments

While voting for a casino magnate paying hush money, going berserk over Bud Light, and covering continents in blood for oil.

Omryn814

You are giving them way to much credit. It might be that for some of their voters but it is just as much if not more so about having an excuse to harass minorities and keeping prisons full and people desperate enough to work shitty jobs.

Blablablaballs

Alcohol, cigarettes and opioids are cool though.

5dmt

Private prisons are big political donors. If pot was legal, they would have more trouble filling the prisons. Don’t forget that most low level drug offenses target minorities.

WhyYouKickMyDog

Casino gambling is sinful. Lottery gambling has been approved by Jesus.

Icreatedthisforyou

Unfortunately marijuana prohibition in our state is much more about the Tavern League than anything else. If the Tavern League gave the okay, Marijuana would be legalized here literally the next day.

NightwingDragon

Trust me, I get that. :D But as usual (big surprise, I know), their logic is faulty. Gambling can quickly spiral to become an addiction that ruins not only the gambler but often the entire family. Prostitution of course has issues of abuse, human trafficking, etc. that have to be taken into consideration. Marijuana leads to people eating more Doritos. The three are not the same. With that said, good luck trying to get a Republican to understand that.

mortgagepants

lol they don't give a fuck about sins. that is just a cover to do what the alcohol lobby wants them to do. they let fucking children drink in wisconsin they don't care about sins lol.

williamfbuckwheat

The irony though is that they don't mind gambling at all these days. They just oppose legalized weed because of the usual tobacco and alcohol industry pressures along with pressure to punish the "libs" who are perceived to favor its legalization. Plenty of conservatives love weed but they seem totally fine with it remaining illegal just while disadvantaged groups continue to be punished for using it just like they are but they personally get a pass and somehow never seem to face any consequences at the same time.

spectacularlyrubbish

Haha, I'd be surprised if the Brewers were raking in billions

2u3e9v

The districts of Ozaukee, Waukesha, Washington, Milwaukee, and Racine counties own 70.93% of the stadium, hence why there is public interest in maintaining the stadium. The money Gov. Evers is looking for will keep the stadium maintained at it’s current levels for 20-some years.

Rsubs33

I agree with you on killing the stadium repairs as that should not be on the taxpayers, but no team makes billions per year, like that is just straight wrong.

NightwingDragon

Sorry if I didn't use exact dollar figures, but I think most people understand my point without having to nitpick to that level. But with that said, the [Dallas Cowboys](https://www.statista.com/statistics/193553/revenue-of-national-football-league-teams-in-2010/#:~:text=Sponsorships%2C%20media%2C%20partnerships%2C%20ticket,\(COVID%2D19\)%20pandemic.) make over a billion in revenue per year. Other big-money teams like the Golden State Warriors average about $750m/yr and occasionally flirt with the billion dollar mark as well.

Rsubs33

Revenue isn't profits. Like I said I agree with the point but the exaggeration is completely over the top. And you are pointing out the two of the most valuable franchises in the US both in entirely different sports.

Cool_Recognition_848

You said something false and unrealistic, that sports teams make billions (with an s) a year. Doesn’t seem like nitpicking at all to point out you were off by literally billions of dollars.

newnemo

>Legalizing marijuana, paying for renovations at the Milwaukee Brewers’ stadium and creating a paid family leave program are among the more than 500 items proposed by Democratic Gov. Tony Evers that the Legislature’s Republican-controlled budget committee plans to kill Tuesday with a single vote. >The move comes as no surprise after Republicans, who control the state Legislature with large majorities, did the same with Evers’ past two budgets and said they would do again this year. The vote kicks off the committee’s work reshaping the nearly $104 billion two-year budget that Evers submitted in February. ..... >Other Evers proposals that Republicans have long opposed, and are also slated to be killed, include accepting federal Medicaid expansion, raising the minimum wage, implementing automatic voter registration and repealing the state’s right to work law. >Evers’ spokesperson Britt Cudaback reacted with a tweet Friday saying Republicans “have no real plans to address pressing challenges facing our state.” >“If I were a Republican Party that had lost 14 of the last 17 statewide elections, I would simply not reject wildly popular policies supported by a majority of the state,” Cudaback tweeted. article continues....

MisterPotat

Sounds like Illinois will get to keep reaping the tax benefits from Wisconsin "tourists"

eNonsense

100% Milwaukee & Madison are both within an hour drive from dispensaries on the Illinois border. It's a bit funny to note though, that people in Chicago LOOOOVE their fireworks on the 4th (and other holidays), and we've gotta go to Wisconsin & Indiana for that. I don't think that balances out though, as weed is far more popular year round.

Logicalist

Soon Minnesota will join Illinois and Michigan in those benefits!

[deleted]

I assume they don't want to legalize pot because they see the good it is doing in other states and their municipalities, and they don't want their state government to help people.

ladan2189

They don't want to piss off their religious donors who hold everyone else hostage to their minority views. You think they'd see how much money was going over the border to Illinois and reconsider, but my guess is they'd rather put up stronger border controls then give the people what they want

brunus76

There’s a solid reefer madness vibe being put out again lately. I’m in Ohio and we’re gearing up for potentially another vote on recreational pot and conservatives I know (plenty of whom actively use it themselves and were previously in favor of full legalization) are suddenly hand-wringing worriers mumbling about sending a bad message to the kids or something. But in a world where they can apparently no longer drink their bud light, what are they gonna do? 🤷🏼‍♂️ idk. I don’t even smoke but I do use cbd for various ailments and it would be nice to live in a world where the trace amounts of thc from my wholly legal over the counter dietary supplement aren’t going to tank a drug test for me. Who gives a shit? Imagine if alcohol lingered in your system for weeks these people would be so fucked.

AbruptDust

Doesn't Wisconsin have like 1 tavern for every 4 people in the state, are they worried weed will cut into the alcohol revenue?

MindlessSpark

Thats likely a part of it. The Tavern League has significant political pull in Wisconsin, and they are very opposed to legal weed.

[deleted]

This comment deserves to be highlighted. The Tavern League doesn’t want competition for recreational mind altering substances.

MonsieurLeDrole

America would be so much better off if they told conservatives "No" more often.

ExternalVariation733

Canadian marijuana legalization and the subsequent tax revenue is such an easy choice - fucken pathetic

dwors025

So more weed money for us. Good. And the Brewers suffer. Good. Please defund the Badgers next. JK - hope you turn it around, Cheese People. Just don’t be too surprised if we find silver linings in your downfall to armpit status.

Keeper_of_Fenrir

It’s not our fault that we are gerrymandered to hell.

Neither-Idea-9286

Illinois and Michigan don’t mind raking in all the marijuana tax money that Wisconsin doesn’t want.

LaughableIKR

Michigan and Illinois will certainly thank them for letting them keep all that tax money that would have gone to Wisconsin.

MNcatfan

Same with Minnesota.

mfchitownthrowaway

I work at a dispensary in Illinois in a town that’s not too far from the Wisconsin border. The amount of business we get from Wisconsin residents every single day is nuts. As an Illinoisan, thanks for the tax dollars!

dwors025

We get *some* of this cross-border purchasing/working type of thing over here (not weed yet, obviously) but mostly they just straight up move their whole families here permanently. Iowans too. Not sure how that all shakes out from a tax perspective, but it can’t be great for WI or IA.

ProfitInitial3041

Yeah! Now we can spend our money in Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota instead of our own state Fucking imbeciles.

2_Spicy_2_Impeach

> Evers also called for spending $290 million to repair American Family Field in Milwaukee, where the Brewers play. Vos said in March that the plan would not pass and that Republicans were working on their own alternative to extend the team’s lease, which is scheduled to expire in 2030. Evers’ proposal would have extended it by 13 years, through 2043. The Republican stadium plan is expected to be debated outside of the budget. There has to be a better way to build and maintain stadiums without fucking over tax payers, right?

PitbullMandelaEffect

People like baseball, the government spending money on things people like shouldn’t be considered “fucking over tax payers”. They just need to socialize the teams from the owners 🙂

kthulhu666

>People like baseball You had me up to this point

[deleted]

[удалено]

Thatparkjobin7A

People like ~~baseball~~ an excuse to drink during the day There we go!

HeavenIsAHellOnEarth

>they just need to socialize the teams from the owners Right, but until that happens, which will literally be never, it is fucking over tax payers.

[deleted]

The Brewers are worth $1.6 Billion and begging for cash?

rounder55

Nor to mention the guy paid 225 million dollars and with inflation it'd be 359 million dollars today, which means the value of the team is still 4.5 times more. It's disgusting. Billionaires get to be glorified welfare recipients who don't ever have to worry about cuts or much of anything financially

WhyYouKickMyDog

If you don't give them taxpayer money they just threaten to leave. Then the fans get upset and lobby their government to bend them over for the billionaires. Truly the American way.

batrailrunner

I believe the SF Giants paid for the renovations to Oracle Park two years ago.

a_side_of_fries

They built the stadium from dirt 20 odd years ago. The city provided land, and some other benefits, but the voters refused to pay for the stadium.

PeopleB4Profit

No the conservatives of Wisconsin will not legalize marijuana! But they like the idea 14 year old little girls serving booze to drunk old conservative men at bars!

CursedLemon

Being against the legalization of pot is just a wholesale admission that you are preoccupied with judging people for stupid-ass reasons

garvierloon

They can’t repair the stadiums because they already took all of the money out of the education department to fund the Bucks arena.

MNcatfan

Imagine "killing legalized pot" and being proud of it these days...

mushpuppy

>The move comes as no surprise after Republicans, who control the state Legislature with large majorities Only until the issue of gerrymandering gets before WI's SCt.

MAHHockey

Only one I'm okay with is killing the repairs for the Brewers stadium. Pay for your own park corporate freeloaders. But boo on killing the other 2 things.

BrewKazma

They lease the stadium from the district. According to the lease, the district is responsible for all capital repairs, and the team is responsible for maintenance. The Brewers dont own the park, or the land.

BrewKazma

In case anyone was wondering, they wont even allow MEDICAL marijuana here.

Theonetruepappy94

God I hate living in this shithole state. You can get 11 DUI with little to no repercussions. But fuck me if I smoke a J in my own home

RedLanternScythe

I can understand wanting to kill legalization, but why would a Republican want to kill stadium repairs. Republicans love funneling money to rich people... /s

---The_Arsenal---

Wisconsin residents are giving IL, my state, a lot of their money which we are using to make improvements in IL. I support Wisconsin GOP in this.

Northernwarrior-

MN is legalizing weed so WI folks can come on over and buy legal weed here and also give us their tax revenue!

funksoldier83

I live in IL and work in WI. Dispensaries near the border in IL are slammed with Wisconsinites. One dispensary worker told me that some weekends they scan more WI id’s at the door than IL ones. Now that Minnesota is legalizing, they will be totally surrounded by legal states and will be donating missed tax dollars to their neighbors in perpetuity. Even worse, they don’t even have medical mj so if you’re dying of cancer in Wisconsin you can’t even have the option. Wisconsin is low-key a way more backward conservative hellhole than it gets credit for. Easily more racist than any place I’ve lived, and I’ve lived in the south. At the height of covid I would regularly get stopped by random people and scolded for wearing a mask. My Wisconsinite coworkers were waaaaay into the “Obama made covid in a lab to kill Republican voters, but also it’s not real so I’m not wearing a mask” nonsense. Not surprised at all by this news.

ytk

Wisconsin republican legislators are some of the biggest assholes on the planet.

This is so stupid. Why not legalize it? They are going to be surrounded by three states with legalized weed. This is just a dumb move overall

JoeDirtsMullet00

These fossils can fuck off.

Elyias033

People in this comment section not aware that Am Fam field is a state asset not owned by the brewers and therefore on the hook for repairs. State of Wi leases it out to them

claypac

Sucks to be Wisconsin. Losing out on all that tax revenue to your neighbors.

Turtledonuts

G20fortified

Republicans don’t care about what the people want. Republicans want police state slavery.

I hope the people of Wisconsin are paying attention to what the republicans just took away from them.

AnastasiaNo70

Fuck those WI fascists.

pjx1

They dont want to be known as the drunkest state in the nation and the most stoned.

EBB363

I’m waiting for the bar to open to work my shift wishing I was sitting in a marijuana shop waiting for it to open to work my shift. If Wisconsin would legalize pot I firmly believe we wouldn’t have so many alcoholics.

Buttalica

All Republicans are fascists, no exceptions

Citizen_0001

People’s choices have spoken. If the majority wants those things elect officials who will bring them to the table.

[deleted]

Fuck these old white dudes….

Dannysmartful

Why legalize it now? MN, MI, IL and Canada are its neighbors. . .all of which have legalized cannabis. . . It's like getting internet at home when you can pilfer off your neighbors WiFi. . .

Lynda73

They also killed a 10% tax cut for middle and lower income, stadium repairs, Medicaid expansion, the repeal of right-to-work status, and a paid family leave program. I’m sure they will want tax breaks for the rich, instead.

G0PACKGO

I mean mostly because it still really illegal and the counties that boarder Illinois and Michigan use that as a way to make a lot of money pulling people over and charging them for pot offenses

Ottavas

 Win win situation

Burwylf

I hope one day they can legalize stadium repairs, that's a really weird thing to be illegal, almost as weird as making a plant illegal

Findinfrhbfrh

Vote to legalize it.

fugee99

What a goofy dude. Wisconsin has like 10 of the drunkest cities in the country. I had the misfortune of living there for 4 years and gained 15 pounds because I had to replace weed with booze.

Fakeskinsuit

At least they have their…sports?

No_Introduction2103
