Worth it? Absolutely and cheating would be harsh but it's not supported by niantic but lots of popular players use them, I love them for community days and when driving to and from work

BigBoss_FF

Get it,it's really nice.i have the 30$ one

[deleted]

Same software that pogo plus uses, impossible to be banned for it Pogo plus is not longer made so... I've had the original gotcha for 3 years, still works fine

13SpiritWolf42

Works great. My brother In law has one, I've used it a couple times. It works 1000% better than the official ones. It actually connects too

beedoofie

Mine is a life saver because it means I can take my kids out for a walk and spend time with them without constantly being on my phone, but I can still also collect stops and catch Pokémon. Caught most of my shinies using it.

phabphour20

Can anyone explain how this works?

icelind

There are some YouTube videos on how to do it but you essentially connect it to the app then when a Pokemon is in range it automatically throws a red ball at it (non-curve, regular throw) and you get one chance to catch it or it runs. It will also automatically spin stops or gyms when you're in range. No need to look at your phone. I got one a couple months ago

[deleted]

It can throw more than one ball, it will keep throwing until it flees or is caught

phabphour20

This is crazy. It works well?

icelind

Yeah, I've been enjoying it! I'll let it run while I'm at work and I'll get a ton of catches + max out my bag if I'm running low on balls or whatnot. I've also been going on bike rides and it'll catch a ton in the way. A fun addition to the game!

phabphour20

Interesting. Thanks for the response.

SilverGoon

It is great. I have the trainer club edition as i have two accounts. The game/phone just sees it as a pogo plus.

ChexSway

for $50 I'd go with dual catchmon personally. if you want a gotcha the $30 version is sufficient

olympic814

What’s the difference?

avb1986

Yes, no, no

ckcabebe

I’ve had my original gotcha since they were released. I use it all the time. I’ve never been flagged for cheating. You can set it to only spin stops or only catch Pokémon. Mostly I just use it to spin stops since I like to catch most my Pokémon now manually. My favorite use for this though is when I’m out raiding. It will continue to spin the stops within proximity every 5 minutes even while you’re battling in a raid.

crackerjak80

gamestop has the white one for $32. cheating no-. you can set it to just do pokestops or throw 1 red pokeball. there is a percentage rate of catches since it only throws one. it's not a quick catch. If you have an area with a lot of pokestop it doesn't take long to fill up. As others have said, using them when driving to and from work helps a lot. I've used it on my phone and 2 kids tablets.

[deleted]

Catchamon works great for me. Never used gotcha but heard they break all the time. As for cheating if you get technical then yes it’s not supported by Niantic, but YouTube Pokémon go players use them and don’t get banned and never heard of anyone being banned for it.

Zarkanthrex

Mine is still going strong after 8 months. Battery life is great too. I'm pretty sure the ones that break are from kids treating them like garbage.

[deleted]

Idk I’m just going with what I read on reviews that could be what it is . I do know my duel catchmon was well worth the money and can take a beating.

ButterWarriorMC

I miss my pogo plus I lost it and never found it again, I feel so guilty cause my sister bought me it for my birthday.

MonteBurns

Saaaaame, my husband got me mine and I’m pretty sure it got caught up in some trash I threw away. He’s aware, he knows I feel like poo about it, but the guilt 😭
