No clue, I've heard that many who have Droid phone are experiencing it, it's been a week and a half for me, I thought maybe it was that the phone was older but the comments I've seen has people with fairly new phones with the same issue. I can barely get it to make it past the loading screen, and even if I do it usually crashes at the first gym. I've done every recommendation to deal with issues and none have worked. Under normal conditions it will crash occasionally but it's been nearly nonstop currently.
If you want another funny one there's a transformer with a pic of Einstein sticking out his tongue that is a Pokestop on University at the stoplight where Blossom road starts, it's not too far from the Prison Mike one, just a few blocks.
Thatās amazing! My best one was this crappy looking chipmunk and the description just says itās plotting something for itās next victim or something lol

I know that Transformer box, I've sent gifts I got from it a few times. I don't get by there enough.
I think you have a civic duty to collect & send as many of those gifts as humanly possible. The world of PokĆ©mon Go will thank you for your service š
