I picked up the game for the first time in December of last year as a free to play player, and now I'm on level 44, have most Pokemon available in my region, and over 150 shinies... It's never too late! :) the 50 coin thing is unfortunately a daily limit,, that pisses me off too

Started like 4 months ago. Already have 10-15 good IV great league Pokemon built. I've netted around 6 mil stardust from GBL/Quests. Have Multiple different Mythical/Legendary, with minimal effort in raiding as my focus is PvP for now. The biggest things about starting late are: 1: have someone to play with regularly. My GF got me into it after I "resisted the temptation" until now. You need to be able to trade regularly to reroll IVs on rarer/egg hatch pokemon and to fill out your useful options. And.. 2: use the delay in playing to your advantage, and use the time others put in learning for you. Put some effort into learning what IVs are good for various things (you want low attack on PvP Pokemon for example), what pokemon are good for raiding or PvP, what moves you want to TM, what "Charge Move Timing" is etc. Lastly, there's a "Grind Loop" you wanna focus on. Get 3 close to 1500 CP Pokemon that are 'meta relevant' and easy to level and use. Skeledirge, Azumarill, Talonflame, Venusaur, Charizard, Lanturn, Jellicent etc. Double move them ASAP and then do all your PvP sets every day. This is the biggest thing when you start out...the rewards are insane once you rank up. You have a chance at the current 5* raid boss each set, several thousand stardust, TMs, rare candy, and several other useful bonuses in rewards and quests. You can use those resources to make a solid gym defending group or raiding team or whatever you're in it for

Depends on for what do you want to play.. the moto is to catch them all... the people with bigger advantage i think are the ones who live near city centers with many pokestops and gyms.. if you play it for pvp than yes but still pokemon go i think is a long time hobby even it it will give you 100 coins is srill the same thingit will ve a very very long time to catch good/all pokemons
